- danhM3042TI0 contributionsFantastic experienceI cannot recommend Oscar enough. Our experience was fantastic. Oscar was an extremely attentive guide. He was great with our toddler and we never felt rushed as we explored Chichen Itza. Clearly a well informed guide thanks to Oscar we learnt alot. After the tour of Chichen Itza we stopped at a beautiful cenote and were then driven to a nice restaurant for lunch. This excursion has been the highlight if our visit.Written January 24, 2025

The cenote is spectacular and this company really gives you peace of mind when booking. You know the cost, exactly what’s included and how long etc. The tour guides have cold water ready for you and make the whole experience wonderful. Highly recommend this tour!Written January 19, 2025

- Sasank V0 contributionsVIP Private Tour with OscarI already saw great reviews of Oscar. We were so excited to know Oscar was our guide. He took such great care of us, effortlessly blending into our family of 6, making us comfortable, and experience everything perfectly at our own pace. We never felt rushed at all. It was truly a VIP experience. He's also a great chess player - beat me twice over lunch.Written January 18, 2025
- IvoryShabazz0 contributionsFantastic Experience with our tour guide Tony!My girlfriend and I took the VIP Chichen Itza private tour and loved every second of it. Tony, our tour guide, was so helpful, friendly, and informative. We learned so much by taking a tour with him. And on top of that, he was just incredibly friendly and fun to be around. Highly, highly recommend this tour and Tony!Written January 18, 2025

- ilyal5300 contributionsTulum ruins visit - perfect for family afternoon trip with babyTulum ruins trip was great. Oscar was very personable, knowledgeable, helpful, and patient, especially as we had our 18mo in tow, which can be challenging. - 651claird0 contributionsTraveling with Younger KidsOur group had so much fun! I was nervous to take on such a long day with my 2 and 7 year old, but our guide, Arnulfo, was so kind and patient along the way, even with one kiddo getting unexpectedly carsick and the younger one having a little meltdown around nap time. He did not make us feel rushed or like it was a burden but instead he helped as much as he could. We were able to get our kiddo who was carsick some Dramamine and he was good to go! I’m so thankful we did the private tour as well— we were able to take the time we needed and enjoy the experience the way our family wanted without worrying about interrupting others’ experiences. It did not feel like the experience took way too long either which I was worried about. We actually made it back to our resort in time to have dinner at a decent hour which I was very happy about (I’m sure it could depend where your resort might be, ours was between Playa del Carmen & Tulum). Our guide was very knowledgeable and you can tell he enjoys the history of it all which such makes learning about everything so special. I would definitely recommend this private tour to anyone who is looking, but especially if you are looking for a good experience traveling with younger kids!Written January 8, 2025
- Suhrstrat0 contributionsBeautiful sights and highly efficient! Our private tour of Chichen Itza with Abraham was exceptional! Abraham's expertise and engaging storytelling brought the Mayan ruins to life. Being a private tour, we had the luxury of setting our own pace and starting early, avoiding the crowds and enjoying the site's tranquility. The highlight was undoubtedly the refreshing swim in a cenote, a truly magical experience. To top it off, we savored an incredible lunch in Valladolid, where the lime soup was a standout dish. Highly recommend!Written January 6, 2025

Irving was our guide. He was amazing. We booked this tour because it included a cenote that was on a tour we went on a few days ago that we wanted to return to. We have been to 5-6 cenotes in mexico over the years. The cave cenote on this tour is the best cenote we have seen. The second best cenote we have ever seen doesn’t come close to the beauty and uniqueness of the one on this tour.
We strongly recommend this tour, but make sure to spend the majority of the time at the cave cenote, because as awesome as the others are, no cenote comes close to the cave one on this tour.
Both tour guides that have taken us to the cave cenote say its top 3 in mexico and Irving said its where he took his father when his father visited.
That cave cenote is a real Gem in mexico. It should be made into a national park and protected from disrespectful tourists.

Gabby and Maria were very informative and responsive during my inquiry and booking process. As for the private tour itself, Alex was the best guide ever. We’ve been in many private tours including Cenotes, but this was the first time a guide actually swam with us and got fully involved. There were 6 of us in our group (4 of my brothers ranging from 49-65, my niece 15 and myself 48). We had such a fun time snorkeling, diving and plunging into the water, exploring, learning, joking, and laughing together with Alex. I dropped my phone into one of the Cenotes caves and Alex dove into the water without hesitation and recovered it. He also captured so many pics of us which we will cherish forever. Even the car ride to and from hotel was entertaining. We will absolutely recommend this tour to anyone seeking an unforgettable Cenotes experience!

I booked the private Cenotes tour for a group of 8 when we were in Playa del Carmen for a girls trip. The company was very communicative in the days leading up to our excursion and made it super easy to book and communicate back and forth to plan our day. Our tour guide, Eric, was fun and informative, and the locations we went to were beautiful. I was really glad we had spent the money to book a private tour rather than going with a larger group or trying to rent a car to travel to the cenotes ourselves. The adventurousness of the tour exceeded my expectations, particularly the exploration of the underground cenote, and there's no way we would have had that same experience without our awesome tour guide! It was a one of a kind experience and I'm so glad we went!

This private tour was unlike anything my family and I have ever experienced. Firstly, Juan was our tour guide and honestly made the experience for us. He was amazing, knowledgeable and treated us like family!
The tour started early at 7am and picked us up right from our airbnb in cancun. And immediately took us to one of his favorite local taco spots that was honestly the best tacos we’ve ever had. We then went on to see 3 centoes back to back with the 2nd cenote being absolutely unbelievable. It was everything that we wanted and more. In the cave with crystal clear blue water looking seemingly endless routes within the cenote. Of course, Juan taught us along the way and made sure we experienced something other yours won’t do while making sure we were safe.
After adventuring and exploring the cenotes, Juan took us to another taco spot in Playa del carmen which was fantastic as well. Ended the trip at around 5pm with Juan dropping us right back off at our airbnb.
Once again, I cannot recommend this tour enough and especially Juan for making the experience worthwhile.

This was an excellent private tour. The guide, Johnny, was very accommodating and flexible in catering to our group's needs. He was very knowledgeable about the cenotes and Mayan ruins. We had a person in our group who cannot swim, but Johnny went out of his way to make sure she was safe and comfortable experiencing the cenotes with a life vest. After the tour, we told him we wanted to eat pizza and he took us to an excellent restaurant in Tulum. I would highly highly recommend this company and guide!!

We almost canceled this trip because the ferry changed its schedule without us knowing. Damien emailed me a billion times and convinced us to go, and I’m glad he did. Johnny speaks very good English, so good that it sounds like he had lived in the USA for years. You will understand him perfectly. If you have never been snorkeling in a cave before, this is an unbelievable experience. I cannot say enough about it, it is bizarre and exciting and weird and fun. It was crazy cold the first 5 minutes, but then it was fine. Johnny knew the right settings on our phones for the best underground pictures. I could have stayed down there for hours. The open cenote was quiet and calm, but could not compete with the cave. The lagoon has 1000x better snorkeling than the ocean reefs. There was a ton more fish and even a sea turtle that Johnny said was rare. When we come back to the area I’m just going to skip snorkeling in the ocean altogether. The driver of the van was a free diver, so he came with us in the cave and lagoon, so there was two guides to our 4 guests. I didn’t worry about my kids getting lost or stuck in the cave, I just enjoyed myself.

Not all Cenotes are created equal, the four we went to were all amazing for different reasons: whether is was the fish, or the ambiance, the rustic nature of area, or even the water - each was uniquely amazing but you couldn’t truly appreciate it without the knowledge and enthusiasm of the guides.
They went above and beyond the call of duty - our hosts treated us like friends and took great pride in ensuring we had an amazing experience in each location. Even if you were able to find these Cenotes on your own, you couldn’t discover the features of each without a guide.
Without hesitation I can recommend you take the VIP guided tour of the Cenotes - it’s worth every Dollar / Peso.

I want to book the tour on my checkout date from my Airbnb in Puerto Morelos. Would they be able to pick me up there then drop me off at my next AirBnB in Cancun?

Is this only fun if you want to snorkel. My mom is uncomfortable snorkeling because of her contact lenses. If she came along with us, would she be able to swim and enjoy the scenery? Or do you need to snorkel to be able to appreciate the tour?
Written December 21, 2021
The tour can actually provide prescription goggles! My husband wears glasses and they were able to give you prescription googles to use while we snorkeled. He said it was such a game changer.
If that won’t work, I’d say this might not be the best because it is centered underwater views.
