About the operator
- rebeccasN5299QG00Very fun!The experience with Jungle Kingdom was fantastic and would recommend it. Your guides were awesome. The pick-up through Rockandtours was not so good. Sent us pick up time as 8:15 am. We went out at 8 to make sure we were on time and finally had to call because we waited an hour for pickup.
- reynao451000 starsWorst company ever !!! DO NOT GO HERE !! Never answer the phone . They didn’t pick us up at the time they said or even at all .
- D1317KZlisas00Do not use them for Tulum!!!!Tour guide at tulum was a scammer. He tried to charge an extra $58 peso each even though it was included in the fee we bought from the hotel. Told me they wouldn’t believe my son was under 12 so I needed to pay for him, I have his passport picture (he didn’t think of that) looked embarrassed. Told us we had an hour to go in but the line was so long and he did not have our bracelets ready for entrance even though the trio was booked days in advance.told me with two young kids to go jump the line and ask a stranger to buy us some (even though again we already paid for the excursion)! Told us there was one way in and one way out of tulum and left us after 20mins inside the ruins we literally had 20mins to get back to meet the guide. There were 2 ways out took the wrong path ended up 20mins late getting back to the van had to pay $41.45 Canadian for a cab so our your group didn’t ditch me with my two small kids an hour from where our trip began. Water was hot from the “cooler” it was like we were an inconvenience. The next part I won’t even get into I am calling visa to tell them I’m not paying for this.no one should be treated this way!
- michaelbD4819QO00Bad ATVsIf you are going mainly for the ziplines and the Cenote swim the trip was excellent. I did not give it a higher rating because the ATV ride was not what we expected. We have a family of 5 and have had experience with ATV riding so all wanted to ride single. Most of the ATVs were very poor quality and would not stay running. One of them stopped working completely about 5 minutes into a 30 minute ride so two of us ended riding double. Out of the 5 we were using only 2 of them were in good working order. The other 3 either, quit completely, had very poor brakes, and stalled out repeatedly. We were not offered any compensation for the price difference between a single and double rider ATV. The tacos were excellent
- edwardcL9352DU00Save your moneySave your money. We booked the Chichen Itza tour. They told us be ready by 6:50am because the bus leaves 7am. We got there 6:52am and the bus was gone. Reservation says 7am. What if we went and they say be here at 4pm and they leave you. You'll be stuck paying for taxi. Terrible!
- jamikastevenson00Great job with instructions carlos it was fun riding with ya!!!By far the greatest experience definitely will go back! Carlos was amazing!!!! Must come and join them and explore the dirt!!
- KayKeesh121200Nice Tour☺️Leave in mind, you will be out ALL DAY. Full day indeed. I enjoyed each moment👌🏽 Definitely worth it. Bring lots of sunscreen as you will be out in the sun for hours. The tour guide was very informative and clear from start to finish. I didnt like that the group of the tour was so big. Took us hours just to pick everyone up but besides that, fun filled day. Was able to get many pictures.
- Wprfc990016 hours of miseryThis was a bait and switch. The tour company that picked us up was not the tour company that we booked. At 7AM we were waiting on the bus to pick us up. Around 7:30 AM a (scary) van picked us up and drove us into the city where we transferred to a bigger bus. The bus was miserable, so uncomfortable and one of the guides was very rude about making us sit in the back of the bus. After an hour and a half on the miserable bus we pulled over at a shopping center and waited for about 30 minutes for more people to house (they got to sit in the front of the bus). The tour guide started trying to sell us stuff almost immediately when he started talking. I am use to pushy vendors but to have a tour guide do it was shocking. After several more miserable hours we were taken to our first stop. Pushy vendors a forced photo and a terrible cafeteria style meal. Literally frozen vegetables and spaghetti… in Mexico!!! The next stop Chichen Itza was cool. It was crowded and full of pushy vendors but it was expected and worth it at that site only. The rest of the tour was very rushed and more pushy selling. We had to wait at every site because there were three people who couldn’t manage to get to the bus on time. I don’t know if that contributed to the rushed stops but it was not even worth getting off the bus at the last stop except that it was late and we were starving. 30 minutes only at the last stop, barely enough time to make it back to the bus with a few street tacos. More hours of misery on the bus, it seemed like the AC stopped working. It was very hot. We had to stop at two hotels before we were dropped off at a gas station where the scary van drove us the last hour. The 11 to 13 hour tour ended up being 16 hours! We have been on several tours in Mexico and this was by far the worst. The site was cool but the tour operator was terrible.
- justincZ4849KD00The pickup and drop-off service makes all the difference!Fantastic value, my wife and I were stunned by what a good deal this tour was. For 200 CAD, we had pickup from our hotel and drop off after the tour, which was about 40 minutes away from the tour starting point (Puerto Morelos to Playa Del Carmen). The tour itself had all fees paid, so you didn't have to bring anything but a swimsuit, a towel, and money for buying snacks/drinks and souvenirs. The tour guides were knowledgeable and their English was good. 10/10 would recommend this tour.
- 777genesisf00Tequila group!Did this tour when I visited Tulum! Jose was a great guide and made my experience and my families experience so great! He made sure we had a fun experience and made it unforgettable! I would definitely recommend coming here if you wanted to have an adventurous experience like zip lining, atvs, and cenotes!
- freddy a00Tequila group (Jose)We were very impressed and pleased with Jose’s work ethic. He was such an amazing guide and the activities we did left us speechless. Definitely recommend everybody who goes to tulum to visit this place !
- toshag11900Excellent times!!! ThankMe and 2 friends booked the excursion for atv, zip lining, cenotes, and Mayan ruins. We had a blast Pedro and Rueban are such gems!!! We thank you for your their hospitality showing us around your beautiful country
- chaelil202100AmazingHad the best experience with Machete. 10/10 recommend he was so the best tour guide I’ve ever had. Extremely knowledgeable, and honestly so much fun!
- lpoletz00Coba tulum ruins and cenoteI booked tour online through Tripadvisor-rockandtours Day before tour no one would answer the phone to confirm tour so I emailed them and got back to me couple hours later. They showed up right on time in a older van with seatbelts that didn’t work. The driver did not speak English well and did not talk to us at all on way to ruins. We stopped at Tulum first and walked through village then to ruins was nice. Then to Coba ruins then to swim in cave. Was very cool! Got to late so chose not to go to playa de Carmen. Wish we had a tour guide that could explain everything we were touring. Other then that tour was pretty good.
- Iluvtraveling200Relaxing and excitingThis was my first time on a catamaran and I had the time of my life. The water was so blue and clear. We stopped half way through the ride some could snorkel and another stop so others could paddle board and float. I don’t swim so I didn’t participate in that activity, however one of our tour guides was nice enough to guide me into the water so I could experience floating. I was scared but was happy to experience it. The food that was served was ok. Once we arrive at Isla Mujeres i was in awe. The water was gorgeous, they had plenty of shops for souvenirs as well as restaurants. We rented a golf cart and ride around the island. The locals were extremely friendly and welcoming. I would definitely participate in this excision again. It appears to be an excursion for all ages. I recommend this is you are in the Cancún area and want to see some clear blue water (especially if you’re at a resort that has tons of seaweed).

I booked & received confirmation for a Friday trip, they later told me they needed to move us to Saturday as they had no more space on Fri. They were difficult to reach by phone or message, and my tickets never changed to the new date.
The tour sites themselves and time at each location was good. But our tour leader was snarky & unhelpful w my elderly parents, even after I called to ensure we could bring my mother’s wheelchair. He was unprofessional and snapped at me saying the front seats of the bus were only for the disabled. Yes, she’s in a wheelchair. When he realized his mistake, we sat at the front but there were no apologies. Spending 13 hours with him after this start was terrible.
