A wonderful experience. Fabian was excellent, all the cowboys were lovely . They made you feel so safe on the horse I was a first time rider and it was great . The gave you so much information about local fruits , trees and legends . If you gu hope that you get Cinnamon as your horse as she was just a love . Highly recommend

          Good
The event and activities were mostly good, however, the only thing I didn't like was the delay of the pickup time. Other than that, I would recommend this company

          Beware of scam
Beware of scam. As you walk the shops, on Fifth Avenue, they will approach you saying “I am your hotel waiter” and lure you into a shop. If you purchase with a credit card, they will say the charge will be in pesos, yet you are charged in USD. I confirmed with my credit card company and approached the merchant. He put a call into his bank, but for all I know, he was speaking to his girlfriend. Cash is best IMO, just have product in hand.

          Tour company Booked wrong Date
I went through Trip Advisor to book this excursion for September 7th. I received multiple confirmations from the tour operator with a pick up time, and location (hotel lobby). After arriving in Mexico, I reached out to be certain of all the details were correct. The day of the booked excursion, we waited about 20 minutes past the confirmed pick up time. I reached out to the number that previously confirmed my pickup the day prior via WhatsApp. With no response, I had to call the tour operator. They told me they made an error and booked it for September 24th, reasons why still remain unclear considering the previous communication. Unfortunately, they would not accommodate us for the same day considering it was their error. The only consolation given was a refund. This company failed to meet expectations by simply being reliable. Would not recommend.

horrible - do not get what you pay for...at all.
horrible. i paid for a private suburban. when i got to airport they took me to an old, group van after nealry 45 minutes of waiting. When i asked to speak with somebody and to get a refund for the difference in transportation i was simply pushed into the car and told not to worry about it.

Great day, but could be better
Great air conditioned, comfortable bus, but it arrived 45 mins late. Guide was a lot of fun, but talked too much - we would have preferred to explore a bit more on our own. We wouldn’t have picked the cenote we went to (Nohoch), because it doesn’t look great in photos. Needed to pay extra for compulsory life jackets. Nohoch cenote is a waste of time unless you have a waterproof flashlight (which we did not). Luckily we tagged behind a tour where the guide had a flashlight. That made it awesome as you can swim deep into the darkness. We would have missed this if we hadn’t bumped into this other tour group. Great honey tasting on the bus on the way home and lots of fun with our guide. It just could have been a little better overall.

          ATV & waverunner excursion
We were picked up on time from our hotel, our driver was very funny with good stories about his love for Phil Collins. We arrived at the Seaside El Dorado and paid a deposit for our locker, and paid an extra $30 USD for insurance for the ATVs/waverunners as a precaution in case of damage. Our first activity was the waverunner. We were given detailed instructions and safety measures. The jetskis were a lot of fun, our guide pointed out sea turtles during the adventure. The ocean was calm but be mindful, this is the open ocean, waves can come out of nowhere and knock you off, very important to respect the machine you’re on as well as the body of water you’re in. Next activity was the ATV. Our guides were great again, going over safety measures before hand. We both enjoyed the ATV but it was a small course, so we doubled back on many of the routes a few times, which was fine, but if you want variations in the course, this was not as much. We did see a crocodile on our journey, probably the coolest part! We purchased our photos, they were quite expensive, $300 USD, $150 per excursion, the most expensive of the photo packages we purchased from all our adventures. We were meant to also receive photo frames with our purchase but in our rush to catch our shuttle and being flustered, we forgot. I will mention the WhatsApp representative and the guides were responsive when I reached out to them to see if we could still get the frames. Sadly the taxi back to Playa Maroma was too expansive to justify going back to get them. We also got to take photos with camels they had on the property, we tipped the caregiver as he took many photos of us with the camels with our phones and allowed us to interact with them. Who knew, camels in Mexico? Very cool extra. Great fun day!

          Best ride
We decided to leave the hotel and explore the town, we met this amazing driver who was the sweetest, she recommended a few local restaurants that were out of this world, she Even waited for us. She is extremely professional, friendly and very caring. She made sure we had a wonderful time and drove us to a few places to shop at a much lower prices than the tourists area. We had such a wonderful time we her that I ended up cancelling my trip to the airport and had her come pick us up instead. If you decide to go to Cancun, please reach out to Ileana, she is THE BEST! I will highly recommend.

Best instructors I have dived with
Whole team at Marona made the day super easy. Equipment was all ready and dealt with by the team. Couldn’t recommend more. Dive instructors were brilliant so helpful and knowledgeable. Really made us feel welcome and safe. Also the captain of the boat was clearly experienced as it was a slightly windy/wavey day. Absolutely brilliant value for money. Clearly a team passionate about scuba diving.

          Coba Mayan Ruins Tour
We booked and paid for the Coba Maya Ruins Tour with lunch and Cenote Swim at our local TUI store in the U.K. This was due to take place on 28th March 2024. The day before the trip we were advised by the TUI rep in our Hotel Riu Palace Costa Mujeres that our trip was cancelled due to not enough people having booked. We were suspicious as this appeared to be an excellent excursion. We rebooked for the only available day, the day before our departure from Mexico. The departure time from our hotel for the trip was 4.50 a.m. The ticket said the trip duration was 8 hours. We were surprised to be picked up by large coach, typical for the airport run, rather than a minibus that we had for another trip. The reason for the large coach soon came to light as on arrival in the Playa del Carmen area we made eight stops at different hotels, which took ages as each hotel is situated in a complex off the main road and behind a security check in. It took 6 hours to reach our destination. Our tour guide was excellent, but we were dreading the journey back as we had not expected just the transportation to take 10 hours. We arrived back at our hotel around 7.30 p.m. - a total of 14 and a half hours, not 8 as on the ticket. Had we known that getting to the excursion and return would take 10 hours, we would not have gone on this trip the day before our 10 hour return flight to the U.K. We complained to the TUI rep in our hotel, who had rebooked our trip, that we had not been informed of the extended duration. We questioned why we were the only pick up from our area and the other people were from the Playa del Carmen and Tulum area. It was ridiculous to include people from the Costa Mujeres area on a trip that was designed for collection for people located nearer Tulum. We wanted to warn other people about this trip.

The best horseback riding tour ever
This was by far the best horseback riding tour I have ever taken in all of the countries islands any place that I have traveled. I have never had such an amazing experience. The horses are well taken care of the first person I met was one of the managers who was also the vet. The horses are rescues, but look healthy and happy there were also donkeys and goats and pigs and dogs and very well loved. Everything was clean they sanitize the helmets. I’ve never seen that before they gave us hair nuts to wear under the helmets for extra cleanliness. The restrooms were clean. The guides spoke. English were so polite well mannered well dressed. They genuinely cared about the animals. They didn’t try and oversell anything and even the pictures were very reasonably priced. Our guide Fabian was amazing. There were only three people who took the tour and there were four guides one between each one of us for our safety and for the safety of the horses. Orlando was the photographer he went along. He did a great job again, very friendly and professional.I wish you could score 100 because I would give this 100+ highly recommend you don’t want to miss this.

          I only did it once
Nice to go and see but you get hounded by traders every ten feet saying they remember you because they are also your waiter at your resort and they have everything you need in their shop including good weed which they can show you inside. Only did half of fifth avenue before it became boring and annoying so got a Taxi back to the resort.

Skip the jewelry store and just go right to Playa del Carmen, spend more time explore.
The trip to the jewelry store was okay but they pressure you into buying. The tequila tasting was good , great flavours and we did purchase some to take home. Was not overly impressed with 5th ave , all the same stores and pushy salespeople. We had about 2 hours there to shop , very touristy but we did enjoy a cold drink and nachos.
