          Ask for Jaime( pronounced highme)
My wife and I had Jaime as our guide and we could not be more pleased with how the day went, he was so knowledgeable about everything he showed us, he was on time and made sure there was cold waters for us being it’s so hot out, really couldn’t have asked for a better day and a better experience….. oh and btw the lunch they served was better than what I been getting at my 4 diamond hotel, how that makes sense I have no idea but it was so good, and also want to praise Paola who was out ATV guide, she made sure everyone knew what they were doing, explained how to use the machine the right way and what not to do, really had a great experience, can’t wait to come back to Mexico just do another activity with them, they are the best and very good with pricing as well!!!!

David and Robert are awesome! If you can get them - do it! Robert’s retiring 2025!
Our guide David and our driver Robert were some of the most enjoyable guides we have ever been with. They picked us up from our hotel and drove us straight to the property. Through this drive we felt safe and were having an enjoyable time talking to the very social people . While there we started off with the extremely fun zip lines and then moved on to the repelling. Through out all of this David was supplying very interesting facts about maya and its history. After this we went into the cave system, which was my personal favorite. David led us through and made the whole adventure enjoyable and intriguing. Afterwards Robert and David drove us back to our hotel, again with enjoyable humor and interesting facts, ending the trip on a very happy note. We are very satisfied.

          Terrible experience.
Ah. So Tulum was alright, you walk around and see the ruins it is what it is pictures would have been fine for me but the others I was with were into it so that made me happy. Then we went to the ATV and cenote site. We were met by a man named Alfredo who was our guide for the tours. When we went to discuss safety of the ATVs, it was quickly changed to forcing you to buy insurance. We were told everything was included and only brought cash for tips so didn't have the extra cash for insurance and boy was that a mistake. Alfredo became extremely verbally abusive, embarrassing us in front of the rest in the group. He ripped clipboards out of both females hands who refused insurance. He started mocking us and saying we must be experts and that we were full of excuses because we didn't have enough cash on us. I ended up not going on the ATV because I was too intimidated and scared of him. During the ride he was doing everything in his power to make the individuals who didn't buy insurance crash into him, including making people switch spots and yelling at them to go faster. It was an extremely uncomfortable experience and no one enjoyed it. I would not recommend and I'm sad I ruined a day of vacation. Will never go on an excursion again.

          Lots of fun, great staff
We enjoyed this trip very much. The staff was very friendly, and the food was good. The cenote was beautiful, and the zipline there was fun as well. The tequila tasting was very entertaining and engaging, and the guides were very good. Our main guides were Kevin and Miguel, who did a fantastic job taking pictures. The atv riding was my older son's favorite part, and he had a great time riding them, although my younger son was a bit scared of the speed. I would recommend the buggy for the younger children. My older son's driver was Aldo, and he had a lot of fun as he made the ride exciting and safe, and was very friendly. Overall this trip was definitely worth it and I would recommend this to anyone visiting the Cancun area and looking for an exciting nature adventure.

          Do this in Cancun!
The cenote were great and swimming was breath=taking. There is something to be said about walking in the lands of the Mayans. The guides made my grandson feel welcomed, included, and just made it fun. This is a tour you do not want to miss!

          So Much Fun!
We had so much fun on this tour! Maria at the Tulum Ruins was great and very knowledgeable. Mario Lemus was an AWESOME guide. He was very funny and energetic. He said that we were his responsibility for the day and he meant it. He took care of us from the moment he picked us up to the caverns and back to the hotel. He continuously checked on our elderly companions as we participated in the ZipLine and ATV activities. He ensured that we felt safe and were informed. When I got exhausted during the ZipLines, the team ensured that I had a safe return back to the base. Juan with the ATVs came and picked me up and was extremely kind. Mario met us to make sure that I was okay. Juan made sure that we had a terrific ATV ride. The photos captured our experience very well. We TOTALLY recommend Aventuras Mayas!!

Great half day adventure for a great price and professional service
Pick-up and drop off from resort to adventure location was flawless. Adventure crew was very professional and made the experience very pleasurable. Zip line & ATV Facility was in great shape. Cenote was beautiful and the lunch buffet at the end was also very tasty. Adventures mayas crew spoke multiple languages: English, French, Russian, German, Mayan, Spanish

I bought the photos and never received them. I think they ripped me off. It says 24-48 hours but it has been well past that. I have also emailed them three times.

          Fun excursions
We booked this excursion through our airline representative at our resort. The snorkelling was great and we saw a lot of fish including a barracuda. Also went swimming in the cave which was an amazing experience. Lunch was included and was very good. The zip lines we also a great experience and we all enjoyed it.

          Fantastic excursion
We absolutely loved our time on this excursion! We had our three teenaged sons with us and they all had a blast. We started on the zip lines. We did the 7-line course. You should have at least a low level of fitness because there are a lot of stairs to climb to get to the top of the towers! They are really high, well above the tree tops. The staff did great to make sure we were safe at all times. It was fantastic zipping over the trees! Next we did ATVs. If you have back issues, this isn't for you. LOTS of bouncing over the rough path, but fun. I found the ATV hard to steer in the beginning but I got the hang of it. We got very dusty! Lastly, we did the cave/cenote that was absolutely beautiful! The water was as clear as pool water! We were given lockers to put our things in. There are photographers on the ATV and zip line courses, so you can leave your camera in the locker. The pictures they took were pretty good, a bit on the expensive side but we bought them. They also provide lunch which was really good! Overall, I highly recommend this trip!!

This tour had a lot of potential, our guide was amazing, but unfortunately they crammed 19(!) people into a smelly, wet van, and half of the tour group was young children that (as is typical) needed a slower pace and took most of the guides attention. Several families showed up 25 minutes late and the rest of us had to wait for them. The cenotes were crowded, and throughout the day we spent about 30% of the time doing activities and 70% of the time waiting in line, or waiting for children, or waiting for 19 people to load and unload from the bus. The facilities in the jungle are basic but adequate. The main issue is that they had hundreds of people on this tour (about 8 buses at a time) so the spaces and the guides were spread too thin. I would have rather sat by the pool or hired a taxi to Tulum to go snorkeling by myself. There's no way this tour is worth roughly $100USD and 6 hours of your time unless you have young children that you really want to experience snorkeling and swimming.

We chose the Mayan Adventure Tour where we Snorkeled in the Cenote, dove from the cliff platform, and did the Zip line. From there we headed to the Cave and snorkeled there before having a delicious hot lunch that tasted like Mom was cooking in the kitchen!
After lunch we headed toYal Ku Lagoon in Akumal where we basically had the whole place to ourselves.
Rafeal was our guide, driver and snorkeling expert for the whole day. He did a fantastic job and made sure our small tour group had everything we needed to stay safe and enjoy the trip.
We've visited the other large snorkel park on a previous vaca and this company stands head & shoulders above that experience. The biggest difference is the personalized service, small group guided tour, and a private feel as there are NO CROWDS!
I highly recommend this company and will definitely book with them again!

This was a beautiful event on our last day at Rivera Maya! My family (twin boys 12 yo and girl 10 yo) really enjoyed it, despite the rain.

We had Luigi who was our driver, and Angelica who was our fantastic guide, sharing tit bits about Mayan culture and history, especially about the cenotes that we visited. She was also incredibly patient as my daughter got scared in the water, but eventually found her courage and enjoyed the dips!

We first visited the open cenote, and the initial cliff jump and zip line allowed us to quickly acclimatize to the water. It was beautiful, as was the underwater caves.

The lunch was AMAZING. I had double helping of rice, pulled pork and beans... and the kids took multiple helpings of the chicken too! Sadly the restaurant was quite a bit away from the lockers, where we had our money and wallet, or we'd have provided tips... so please remember to bring cash when you walk to the cave diving! Ah, I don't think I'll forget the simple but so-delicious lunch! I told Marco, who served us, what I thought of it, but could only apologise for not having cash on us!

The inlet dive was lovely, though it was cold because of the rain. I think it would have been a bit more enjoyable if the sun was out, but it was still fabulous.

Thank you all for making this a wonderful trip! ❤❤

Snorkling express at Yalku Lagoon and Cenote Yal-Ku in Akumal Riviera Maya Snorkeling.
Accompanied by my 3 daughters and my wife we went snorkeling in the lagoon and then in the canoe. Even if my wife was not very reassured to go in caves, everything went well and we liked the kindness of the guides and their smiles.

Enjoyed our day snorkelling in 3 different spots. Rafful was a great guide. He got us into the cenote first in the morning which was nice because as new groups arrived the sediment at the bottom of the cenote got stirred up by other snorkellers so it became less clear water. Photo packages are pricey but it was a one time thing for us. Difficult to take your own photos as you are in and out of the water. Cave was the favourite part because unlike anything else I have done. The inlet snorkelling was good to see many different fish species. Also saw a ray and one sea turtle. Lunch was basic but tasty. We were done by mid-afternoon and very tired from being in the water most of the day. The skinny members of our group were quite cold but some of us had more natural insulation.

This combination of 3 snorkel spots was an exceptional experience for us. We had a small group of about 10 of us and Marvin, our guide, was personable, informative and just the best guide we could have asked for. We chose the early reservation which left around 7:30am. Although tough due to time difference still in our system, I am so glad we did. We were first in the sink hole cenote and then again to the underground cave. Both were fun and different than what we've done in the past. The lunch was good but because of our early time it was at 10:30am, a bit early to be that hungry. We had frequent breaks for bathrooms and drying off a bit. The 3rd stop I think was in Akumal which had the most fish. Because our group had all strong swimmers Marvin took us out a bit further than ropes to see turtles and stingray. It was a beautiful well planned excursion and Marvin did literally take care of us like family! Would HIGHLY recommend due to different nature of the 3 spots and the organization of Adventuras Mayas.

Amazing tour! We went with Carlos with Adventuras Mayas to an open cenote with high jumps and zip line into water. Followed by cave snorkelling and lastly an open lagoon snorkel. Wonderful fish to see and some of them nibble at your feet! Highly recommend! Carlos was a great guide.

This was a half day excursion from the hotel and I have nothing but the BEST to say about Francesco (Franky). He was thorough and attentive and very informative. What I will have to say put me most at ease was how caring he was for me and my boyfriend. Neither of us know how to swim but he not only went out of his way to make us feel comfortable enough to zip line into an open cenote with life jackets on, but also he was waiting for us at the bottom with a water float to help us get to the stairs safely. He made us feel so safe that we both jumped off the 15-20 ft drop into the open cenote. He was also attentive to the point where he taxied us around the open ocean inlet while snorkeling so we could see the fish and wild life without fearing that we may drown. (Life vests are a requirement of the excursion, but when you don’t know how to swim that alone doesn’t always put your mind at ease). Francesco is the absolute best. We had a delightful time.

Great company to book a tour/excursion with. Our guide, Miguel (Boo Boo), was great. He was humorous, polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. We were picked up promptly at the time stated on our reservation. We were given several opportunities for snacks, water, and bathroom breaks. The provided meal was fantastic, and some of the best tacos I've ever tasted. The snorkeling gear was provided. The group was small, so you felt like you had individual attention. I would recommend booking with Adventuras Maya to anyone.

The description states that you will be sharing a bus with 14 total people. What it doesn't state is that they cram in 30+ busses full of 14 people each into the same destinations at the same time.
