Stop At: Hacienda Yaxcopoil, Mexico 261 Km 220, Yaxcopoil 97391 Mexico

Two attractions you cannot miss in Yucatan are cenotes and haciendas. Cenotes are a unique natural feature of the Yucatan Peninsula, while the estates showcase the luxury and very particular history of our region. In this trip we combine both, and, even better, we combine them with the fun and freedom of cycling. Note: You can choose either two haciendas (estates), or one hacienda (estate) with a cenote or two Possible destinations: Yaxcopoil, Ochil or Yunku haciendas; Kanrixche, Yalusil or San Antonio Mulix cenotes Activities: Cycling, swimming and snorkeling Departure time from Merida: 8:00 a.m. Approximate return time: 4:00 p.m.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Cenote Kankirixche, Mucuyche Mexico

A beautiful semi-closed cenote with cristal clear water. Rock formations are quite atonishing.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Cenote Yaal-Utzil, Mucuyché, Yuc., Mexico

Another type of cenote, "Dolina" type, ran by the community of asmall mayan town. People here speak mainly mayan.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Hacienda Ochil, highway to Uxmal, Merida Mexico

A very unique Hacienda rebuilt as a restaurant. It also shows some of local and mexican artcrafts. Local food of the best quality is served here (not included)

Amazing experience.
If you are interested in this tour I highly recommend you take it. Our guide, Horatio, picked us up promptly at 8AM. He is very friendly and welcoming, we felt like friends immediately. We stopped at the Mayapan ruins and his knowledge and pride of the history is quite impressive. We then went to the Hacienda/Cenote where Horatio guided us through the process of preparing for the cenote. Not knowing what the expect, I was hesitant and a little nervous and the water but he was reassuring and patient. I am so glad because it was awe inspiring. The guide at the cenote, I believe his name was Christian, was so clearly passionate about the history and information provided, it made the tour even more special. We then had a tour of the hacienda by Luis who was equally informative, fun and eager to answer and questions. Finally we were treated to an open air lunch and a tour at another hacienda. A day full of interesting facts, history and fun made possible by our guide, Horatio. His passion for what he does shines through and made our day even more memorable.

A Day with Dalia
My parents don't have a TripAdvisor account but asked if I could share this for them: "Dalia took us an excellent day trip, tailored to our interests. The first stop was Dzibilchaltun ruins with a foot soak in the crystal clear cenote, then a quick tour of Progreso with an excellent lunch (not included) at Crabster's. Instead of a sunset kayak tour we opted for one after lunch through the mangrove salt marsh and then Dalia helped me find the beautifully embroidered blouses (at a good price) and an English copy of "Popul Vu" that I so badly wanted. All in all, a thoroughly satisfying day!"

Mayan Sites and mystic Beauty
If given he chance to our this site, please take it. I loved how this site kept unfolding with every turn we made. Get a guide who will walk you through in an order that makes sense. Better than wandering! This largest temple is no longer available to climb, however there's a second temple with 175 steps that will get your heart rate up. The views from the top are incredible.

Memorias increibles
