We had an amazing time on our golf cart bar tour with Gonzalo! He reached out to make sure he was picking us up at our current location. He was very knowledgeable about the whole island and entertained our multiple stops to get pictures even when he didn't have to. He even took us to see the kittens and puppies at the rescue center! All around awesome guy and tour. He showed us our new favorite spots that we would not have known existed if not for him. Easy to say that you should do this experience the beginning of your trip to get a better lay of the land. Every spot we went to, we went back to. It is such a great sense of community they facilitate for each other. Gonzalo really made it special, not only for us, but for the locals that live on the island that own the businesses we stopped at! Next time we come back we will have to take his taco tour next!

We had a great tour with Gonzalo. We were lucky to have a private tour on New Year’s Eve day.
Gonzalo knows Isla Mujeres island how to navigate the entire island. We covered the island north, south, east and west. Top to bottom.
This is our third time to IM and he showed us areas that we never knew about.
Gonzalo took us to five great bars that we would not have visited on our own. My highlights were drinking Mezcal and eating worms and crickets. We also went to speak easy for the best Margarita that I have ever had. The owner was a wonderful lady that was a pleasure to meet. The other bars were also as good and also off the beaten path.
Gonzalo did a great job explaining the different parts of the island and a little bit of the history and politics.
This was a great trip. My wife and I have done many food and bar chores all around the world and this was a very special experience.
I highly recommend this tour.

We booked a golf cart bar crawl for a group of 18 people, with just a couple days' notice, and Tiffany and Gonzalo jumped through hoops to find more drivers and accommodate our larger group.
From start to finish, we were delighted with the experience and had a fantastic time. The bars we visited were really fun and at spots we never would have found on our own. In addition, we were grateful to have the open air of the large golf carts and to not have to worry about anyone drinking or driving. (Despite what you see tourists doing all over the island, drinking and driving is not allowed.)
Highlights included the information and commentary provided by all the great drivers, incredible views and locations we never would have found on our own, really fun bars with great specialty drinks and food, and attentive and responsive crew at Go Isla that accommodated our challenges every step of the way.
We all had an amazing time and highly recommend this company and tour.

Gonzalo was fantastic! He took us all around the island, to all the local hidden gems, and gave us recommendations to what places to go check out later in our trip. Highly recommend booking this tour especially if it's your first time on the island- shares some history and culture about the island, you get to meet some wonderful locals and their establishments, and you get to see parts of the island that tourists don't typically explore. Don't forget to tip at each stop! Thank you Gonzalo!

Drivers are friendly, fun, and informative as they guide your group to hidden gems across the island. Our group had a fantastic experience visiting a local dive on the beach for a mezcal tasting, a hidden basement bar in the middle of the city, a upscale experience on the water and in between a stop at a scenic church, visit with dog and puppies at the local shelter, and many other points of interest on the island. Strongly recommend.

We had a blast with Gonzalo! He knows the bartenders at all the stops, and we got great service everywhere we went. The drinks were great and we certainly went off-the-tourist-track to places we wouldn't have found on our own. The tiny place with the homemade guac was our favorite part, but really all the stops were great. Gonzalo smartly made the final stop at the Tiny Gecko, which has an amazing view, live music, and cold beer. Would absolutely recommend to other visitors to Isla Mujeres.

What an entertaining day. Gonzalo knows every inch of this island. We not only went to some great bars and speakeasies we were pointed in the direction of some great food for days to come. The best part is this is not just a tour of the North End. It is one stop in the North and then six more. What I recommend is doing this tour on one of your first days on the island to get a feel where everything is.

A group of 10 of us booked this tour as part of a Birthday vacation. Gonzalo was able to accommodate 2 additional people at the last minute. Gonzalo and his brother were our tour guides and both of them were super nice and informative. They took us to several different places on our tour and made it a point to have one of the bars on the stop do a small birthday celebration which was definitely not expected and greatly appreciated. This is a great way to see the island, learn a lot about the different establishments, and explore places you likely would not see otherwise. All of this while not worrying about driving was fabulous. I HIGHLY recommend this tour.

This gold cart tour was a lot of fun. The guide was fun and the tour was a good way to become familiar with the best hotels and beaches on the island. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to explore and see the island.

This was the absolute highlight of our stay on Isla Mujeres! Having been to the island many times before we were pleasantly surprised with the new bars Gonzalo shared with us. I would recommend this tour for anyone looking for a fun day adventure whether traveling solo or with a group. We made so many great connections! Thank you!

Do we need cash on the bar crawl -- and while touring Isla Mujeres for the day? If so, pesos or dollars?

We are staying at the Villa Del Palmar Resort and the Punta Sam Ferry is within walking distance for us. I see this arrives at a different location, Ultramar Carga. Would our group be able to be picked up here or do we have to take the Ultramar Ferry?
