      What a Blast!
This is a great way to get around and see the area. Snorkeling was fun and the lunch was pretty good. It was great getting away from the crowds. Worth the money.

VIP Experience with knowledgeable and talented guides!
I love traveling. It’s hard to impress or make my teenagers happy! Jerry, Julio & Emely are the best! They went out of their way to give us the history, answer questions and hence our experience. This unique trip is a lifetime experience that you cannot miss. Family friendly, easy walks and they would even turn around each jeep, so that it was easy to leave to the next spot. Como Salvadorena América fue una experiencia auténtica y será inolvidable recorrer la isla en el jeep, nadar en la agua salada y helada del cenote. Disfrutar y aprender much del tequila y snorkeling 🤿 con unos bellos pescados. Thank you so much guys. You are the BEST! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Luna from Virginia 🌙

      A great 5 hour tour!
Anna was a fantastic tour guide. She asked us the things we enjoy and the things we are interested in and created a tour, especially for our family. We would highly recommend this tour.

      Good trip!
Our tour guide, Adriana, was exceptional and rolled with the punches. She took us to places that we had wanted to go, not necessarily on the typical tourist agenda. Would highly recommend her/the trip.

      Not a recommend trip
The guide did not show up. We walked for 30 minutes in very hot weather to the meeting point only to find that the Guide did not turn up. So no walking tour and £75 out of pocket!

It is what you make it. Having the best guide in all of Mexico helps too!
First things first. Gerardo (Jerry) our guide was incredible. He made the excursion a huge success. Super props to Jerry!!! 10 out of 10 stars!! Booking was easy and instructions were clear and easy to follow. We went from the port to the Meeting place without issue. It took 5 minutes to get there. Jerry was there early waiting for us when we arrived a bit early. He was very friendly and helpful right from the start. He asked what things we wanted to see and do on our excursion. We had an idea of what we wanted to do, but asked for his advice. He was very helpful and honest about our options. We chose to visit some Mayan sites, some beaches and to snorkle for a short time. We (4 of us) got into a nice jeep with Jerry driving. I was concerned with this initially because I was led to believe that we would have our own jeep. I also thought that we might be crowded. I am so happy that it ended up being this way. Being in the same vehicle with Jerry and getting to listen to his wealth of knowledge was awesome. We would have missed out on so much had we been in a different vehicle. Jerry took us to some amazing Mayan sites. The best part about these sites was Jerry's passion, excitement and knowledge. He shared tons of details, personal experiences and facts about everything that we saw. Jerry explained Mayan culture and how the impact of that Culture is still visible in Cozumel and other areas of Mexico to this day. We spent hours visiting different sites hearing the details and history of these sites and the associated culture of the Mayan people. This was the highlight of the excursion. We also visited the highest point on Cozumel with great views, had a delicious lunch and did some snorkeling near the resort where we had lunch. This was an amazing 5.5 hours and was worth every penny. On the excursion were my wife and I (Late 50's) and my daughter and son in law (mid 20's) We were all equally impressed with Jerry and the excursion as a whole. We would do it again in a heart beat. If you do this excursion, which we highly recommend, ask for Jerry!!!

      A Big Disappointment
Do not book this trip!! We were so very disappointed ! We couldn't find the jeep driver. We were told to meet in the plaza after getting off the ship but there were no one there. It took us 45 minutes searching in the town to find him and so our trip was very rushed. Lunch was terrible and did not include any soda or juice. Tequila tour was a farce. No tour just a guy trying to sell us tequila. We said we didn't care to go there as we don't like or drink tequila but he insisted as if we didn't have any choice. So much for customizing your trip. We were so looking forward to this trip. Now we know to always always book the tours through the ship.

      Nope
Address listed is wrong and missed the excursion. The meeting place was at a coffee shop that has been closed for over two years and was located at a completely different part of town. Both phone numbers listed did not work and I was not able to talk to anyone for assistance.

      Avoid this one.
Tour was supposed to begin never started till 9:40. The keep we were given had no seatbelts, air, or radio and was filthy inside. The stops on the excursion were awful and the snorkeling. If u were lucky enough to get equipment(we weren’t) no one in the group enjoyed this trip. Pick something else for sure

      Very very let down
We tried for 2 and a half hours to find the pick up location. We showed many many other tour persons, shop owners and even police where the given address was and how to get there. We walked for miles and spent a fortune in a taxi tring to find it. The address given was wrong. Double and triple check the pick up location when booking. We are seasoned travellers and use trip advise a lot. We missed the tour. Not happy even when we received a refund. Our day was wasted and we returned back to the ship exhausted and not at all happy. We soooo wanted to do this day trip.

      Good deal, lots to do
Wonderful excursión that includes lots to do in half a day. Sergio was our private guide and he was knowledgeable of the island and cared for us perfectly. We loved every stop from the delicious tequila tasting to the cenote to the tasty lunch with a perfect swimming spot. We saw so many fish when we snorkeled and highly recommend this deal with an awesome private guide.

      Fun Jeep Ride and snorkeling
I had an amazing experience on this excursion with my husband and daughter during our cruise. Everything was punctual, and the tour guides were excellent, providing us with cold water throughout. Just a heads up, it's geared towards couples, so if it's just the two of you, you'll share a jeep with another couple. First stop was caves: we started by jumping into refreshing water in caves, despite them looking a bit mossy. The fruit bats were cute and non-disruptive. The knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide kept us laughing. Tequila tasting was a fun highlight, leaving us pleasantly buzzed and in high spirits. The snorkeling, though uncomfortable equipment-wise, was made up for by the abundance of fish and clear water. Overall, we returned to our cruise tired but content, having had a blast. Thanks to the team!

      This was an awesome experience!
I was a little apprehensive because there weren't a lot of reviews. They called beforehand to make sure we knew were to show up and the boat was of good quality with shade for the people that didn´t want to get in the ocean. They were very attentive and catered to us, adjusting locations and duration at each site to our needs. We always had a guide who came into the water with us when we were snorkeling. Our guide was awesome! He took pictures for us and found marine animals hat we otherwise would have missed. We felt very safe with them during our trip. Wish I had photos to share but I still haven't downloaded them from my GoPro.

      Bucket list excursion
I decided to do this guided tour with a friend for my birthday. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this was a private tour, and that our guide, Tania, was absolutely delightful. She was charismatic and informative, and took the time to find out what would make our day enjoyable, I personally found swimming in the cenote to be the highlight, certainly a bucket list item, and a great way for me to spend my birthday. I am interested in sacred Mayen culture and Tania was able to offer information about several sites in Cozumel to satisfy my curiosity. There is a lot included for the price of this tour and I think for people who enjoy a more quiet experience, this would be educational and enjoyable. I have told several friends about it, including some locals, who also want to do this. Enjoy!

It was not a great experience, so I would certainly not recommend it for anyone else.
Although our guide was kind the experience was worth about $1. We essentially drove around for hours passing several interesting spots stopping at a tequila spot where the overcharged our friends by $30 for a bottle of tequila.

I was under the understanding that this was going to be a cooking lesson of Mexican food. It is not it is a tour of what they call a farm but it’s not really a farm it’s only 2 acres of trees. Two hours of the tour involved listening to description of the trees on the property. The person that was with me from a cruise left 10 minutes into the demonstration as she was sure it was not what she had planned on. I could not recommend this excursion. Lovely people but…..

We (5 adults) stopped in Cozumel on a cruise ship and we’re so pleased with our excursion to meet Carlos and his family at the farm.

Leaving the port, we made a right and walked about 2 blocks to find the 7-11 (next to the Pemex gas station) to meet our driver. We had booked the 9am departure but I hadn’t realized our ship didn’t dock until 10am. They were kind enough to let us take the excursion at 12pm instead.

We were escorted to a taxi that drove us to the two-acre farm. There we met Carlos who told us about the history of the farm, many of the fruit trees, and the animals. Following these explanations (about 90 minutes), we sat down to try some local drinks like Horchata, coconut, and tequila. Afterward, we “helped” Carlos make some snacks (a Mayan pumpkin dip and guacamole) and then ate some chicken sopes. (It was all delicious!) Soon after, our taxi came to drive us back to the port.

This was a great opportunity to meet locals and better understand life in Cozumel. 5 stars!!

The family was very nice, learned a lot.

Make sure you have proper expectations that this is a rural farm. No modern amenities and you need to have bug spray. They had some they shared and home made paste for the ones we had from the day before.

They had good tequila to taste the bottles were $80-120 and took credit cards. My daughter loves mangos and they sent her home with a whole bag full.

We took a taxi from Melia and go gouged in price. It should be about $20 USD from the ferries and major hotels. The driver was nice enough to take us back to the hotel which was much appreciated.

The tour was great but not quite a "cooking class" as was advertised. A little disappointed that there wasn't more cooking and less time on tequila. Don't get me wrong, it was fun and informative and Carlos was a great guide, just not the tour we were expecting.

It was fun and informative learning about the fruits they grew on the farm and what they did with them. All-in-all a very good tour and a good break away from the crowds. We would recommend this tour, just be aware that it isn't a "cooking class".

This was a unique experience. Kudos to the tour guide,. She provided transportation for an informative sceneic route to the farm. We met with Carlos and Carlita who provided information on farming and distillation of tequila unique to Mexico. They further our experience by using healthy groceries and teaching us a wonderful culinary experience. TWO thumbs up and an A+ rating.

The farm to table is lead by two brothers who were thrilled to share their farm with the right of us. They are humble and delightful brothers who farm in limestone by breaking down the limestone to allow plants to grow. They are a ecological minded, do do everything they can to figure out how to continue with the farm their grandfather started.
Our family, sibs & spouses are gardeners and farmers, was looking for a down to earth and learn about their culture. We want to avoid the tour bus guide who reads a script.
While at the farm we learned about the growing conditions. We worked in the traditional out for cooking area. We prepared guacamole, salsa, a wonderful drink developed by their father, and made tortillas and tacos.
You get to meet Black and White Dogs and not to be miss Edestrellas, who acts like a dog.
One for our party is handicapped, physically and there made excellent accommodations for her.
Our driver shared history about Cozumel and his family's life.
Frank, our driver, was delighted show off the great people from his town. He picked us on time and got us back early so we could make our way slowly back to the ship
If you're looking for a 'real' experience this an excellent choice. They keep the groups small, eight ppl or less. Don't Miss this Farm to Table experience!

My wife and I did this tour on our break from diving and it became one of the highlights of our vacation. We were picked up by Frank in front of our rented house and taken to a little country farm. Our tour guide Carlos showed us around his farm and told us about all the trees on his place. We also enjoyed hearing about and feeding his cows chickens and dogs. Finally he made us a nice tequila drink with fresh citrus fruits. The drinks were accompanied with some traditional dips chips and topped off with some tacos made by Carlos’ mom over their outdoor wood fired grill. We came as tourists and left as friends. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

This was my top experience on my cozumel trip. Carlos was great at explaining the fruit, the process of the farm and history of the food. It was 3 hours of just fun, and hanging out at the farm. PLEASE WEAR BUG SPRAY. The cow was amazing and friendly. This is an experience for the whole family.

We loved touring this family farm, learning all about the many species of trees and fruit growing on the property. The lunch and tequila were fantastic. There wasn't very much cooking involved, but that was fine. It was a very different experience from other things we did in Cozumel and everyone in our group commented that we would recommend it to others. Thanks Carlos for sharing your knowledge and fun time with us!

A unique experience with this family. Easy pickup at the Mayan Plaza located directly across the cruise ship docks. Transportation available and approximately 15 minute drive to the farm. From there Carlos guided us on the farm and explained the different produce that is grown organically with over 200 trees producing mangos, guanabana, gum tree fruit, sweet and sour oranges, 3 different types of coconuts, avocados, pistachios and prickly pears. Freshly made drinks, guacamole, Sikil Pa’ak a traditional Mayan ground pumpkin seed dip and Sopes made fresh on the grill. All very delicious! Afterwards Carlos’s cousin Martin who is a master Jimador guided us with an organic tequila tasting tour. Many of the fruits grown on the farm are shipped to Jalisco where flavored tequilas are produced and placed in hand blown and hand painted bottles. Martin explained that most of the tequilas produced in mass are actually mixed with ethanol so that Patron, 1800 etc are not 100% tequila. Their organically produced tequila, Lluiva and Estrella, is 100% and not diluted with other types of alcohol and is very smooth to drink without the burn of mass production “tequilas” Their coconut tequila is amazing along with mango, tamarind, coffee and of course their main stay resposado. Loved them so much we bought 8 bottles to bring back to the states. Their family business started in October of 2019 and they plan to expand which we know will succeed as they are wonderful. If you’re in Cozumel this is a worthwhile activity to book!
