        Great cooking experience!
We enjoyed grocery shopping with Tania and then helping with the food prep. She answered all of our questions and the multicourse meal was delicious. She also gave us recipes so we can try the dishes at home. Highly recommend this wonderful cooking experience!

        Make time for this
Awesome. Simply terrific. It may be unsettling for some Americans, as Tania picks you up and drives you to her place for the meal- so you’re with a person you never met in an unknown location. Don’t fret! Tania is friendly, kind and a terrific cook. She makes the whole experience a pleasure. And the food! Out of this world.

        Great day, delicious food!
We wanted to get off the tourist path and enjoy some authentic Mexican cuisine. Our host Tanya was very hospitable and knowledgeable. Had fun visiting the market to get the food. In the kitchen she kept the food coming! All of it was so good and fun to help prepare. Loved that she shared the recipes as well. We would love to come back and do with our family!

        An amazing day!
We had an amazing day with Jordan Artero. He was courteous, knowledgeable and helpful and took us all over the island. He knew all about the history and customs of the indigenous peoples. It was well worth the time!

        Great experience and food
Ricardo was our guide. I was traveling with my mom who has hard time traveling due to the health condition, but she really wanted to see pieces of Mayan history and culture with her own eyes. Ricardo was very accommodating and my mom had a blast visiting these sacred places. Thank you!

        Great tour
Sergio was a gracious and fun guide. It was a great tour and wonderful to see more of the island. Tequila tasting, mayan ruins, a mangrove swamp (including seeing a baby crocodile) and the lighthouse - all great! The view from the top of the lighthouse was beautiful. Lunch was delicious- the fish was so tasty.

Relaxed Cosumel island tour with private driver
Gave Very Good as it was above Average and driver drove us all the time, so we can relax and not to be stressed on bumpy roads. Tequila place we visited was one-star, and our friend had better experience in other place. It was windy all the day and we are happy that we opted out buggy tour roads are so dusty! Food was good, just small portion. Unfortunately due to wind East side was not swimmable.

        Sergio is awesome!
Sergio was an extraordinary tour guide, far surpassing all of our expectations from the very beginning. Opting for the private tour which included tequila tasting, a visit to the enchanting Baby Beach, and an unforgettable snorkeling experience, we were treated to an adventure that was both immersive and deeply personal. Sergio's knowledge and passion for the area shone through in every aspect of the tour, making us feel not only welcomed but truly part of something special. The tequila tasting was an exquisite journey through flavors and traditions, where Sergio expertly guided us through each sample, sharing stories and insights that enriched the experience immeasurably. At Baby Beach, his local knowledge led us to serene spots that felt like our own private paradise, away from the usual crowds. And snorkeling was simply breathtaking under his guidance, revealing a vibrant underwater world that we might have missed without his expert eye. What set Sergio apart was his ability to make every moment feel tailored and personal, ensuring that we were always comfortable, engaged, and thoroughly entertained. His warmth and genuine enthusiasm for sharing his love of the region made us feel not just like tourists, but like honored guests.I cannot recommend Sergio highly enough. Whether you're seeking adventure, relaxation, or a blend of both, his tours offer an unforgettable experience that will leave you with memories to cherish for a lifetime. Truly, Sergio embodies the spirit of hospitality and adventure, making every moment of our tour an absolute joy.

        Fun and informational tour
We did the dune buggy tour and had a great time. Pedro our guide was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot. We felt lucky to have him. The tequila tasting was interesting but we didn’t buy any bottles. At the eco park we saw crocodiles and other animals. Didn’t get to snorkel cause the water was too rough but the beach club we went to was nice.

        Memorable Day
This was the perfect excursion and exactly what we hoped for. We got to tour the island and visit very unique, beautiful and memorable places. The places we visited were picturesque with beautiful natural scenery. Our lunch was delicious and relaxing as I was also able to get a wonderful massage. Our tour guide and new friend Ricardo was amazing. He took us to places we requested and even some unique unexpected spots that we will remember always. We loved hearing his stories and experiences of the island as well as his volunteer sea turtle work. Thank you so much for this memorable day!!!

I have hesitated to write this review because while our tour allowed us the opportunity to see some beautiful places we had not yet visited, there were parts of our experience that fell short of our expectations. The advertised tour includes hotel pick up and drop off. Our guide had parked in a grocery store parking lot and met us in front of our condo and walked us over to the parking lot and the Jeep. Upon returning, we were once again dropped off in the parking lot and had to walk back to our condo. He apologized for not being able to get us any closer...odd because there was a drop off area directly in front of our condo. The condition of the Jeep was awful. The dash was held together with tape and Air conditioning was non-existant. When we commented about the condition of the vehicle we were told there weren’t enough jeeps that day and they had to rent one for us. This trip was booked well in advance so I am unsure why we ended up with a beat up rental.
Our stops along the East side of the island were great! We got to visit several beach front bars and we really enjoyed our time, especially at Welcome to Miami. Our next stop was Jade Cavern and Cenote. Again, advertising states that we could swim here. We were advised by our guide not to get in the water because is was murky and dirty. Our last stop was for lunch at Tortugas and our guide said it would be the best part of the day. Well, Tortugas Restaurant was incredibly overcrowded and certainly not the best part of the day! The snorkeling was confined to a very small area that was also crowded. The lunch was hands down the worst meal we have ever had on Cozumel! We decided not to snorkel and our guide came over and told us we could go enjoy the beach and he would watch our belongings...not sure how he expected to watch our things when he was at the bar drinking the entire time at Tortugas. We took our things to go to the beach area only to discover that there were no chairs available and it was also overcrowded. The guide mostly seemed disinterested in the experience and more interested in drinking the beer in the cooler and at the restaurant bar. At that point we made the decision to end our tour about an hour early. While we enjoyed the scenery and having the opportunity to see parts of the island we hadn’t been to before, I wouldn’t book with Jeep Riders Cozumel again.

Let me start off by saying that our day did not go as expected, but our tour guide Alex handled everything in an excellent manner & we still had a BLAST!

We started off the day by meeting Alex across the street at the restaurant, and we made our way to the Jeep (3-4 minute walk). He's explaining how the day will go, when we'll eat and when we'll do the excursions. We make our way to the Tequila tour first. Best Paloma I've ever had. The tour was nice, kinda short but we didn't mind.

We start heading to our next location & the Jeep starts smoking. We exit the vehicle, Alex calls his boss and they send us a replacement Jeep right away. We safely make our way back to the Tequila tour location & wait for our new Jeep. Maybe waited 10-15 min max? But with another Paloma in our hands, no big deal.

Our Jeep arrives and we're off to our next location, El Mirador point. All the windows are down, we're enjoying the breeze & history lesson Alex is giving. We reach our destination, get off and explore a bit. Take good photos & take in the view. That's when we noticed that the Jeep wasn't starting.. just our luck! BUT Alex gets it to start with the help of my fiance and a local.. then we're off to the next location, the cenote!!

We make our way over with ease, and we get off and explore the cenote area. We didn't jump into the water, it was too murky for my liking (enter at your own risk). There was a lady that jumped in & according to Alex legend says if you swim in the water, you'll gain back 10 years of your life! I was good though, haha.

We get back to the Jeep and the battery light comes on! What were the odds?! We make it to the next destination safely, but that's when the battery actually died. I kid you not, I believe my fiance brought on our bad luck (it follows him everywhere)! But we didn't mind. Alex worked his magic and in no time we had a replacement car, we got a buggy!

We made our way to the next stop which was lunch & snorkeling. The rest of the trip had no car issues & it honestly was a great day overall. I feel like if it was any other tour guide, they might've lost their sh*t, but Alex was so great. He stayed calm and collected and always made sure we were taken care of. We highly recommend him! We would come back with more family & friends and request Alex all over again! Also, thank you to the Jeep Riders Cozumel crew for never leaving us stranded!!

This tour exceeded all my expectations! Our tour guide Angel was very accommodating and made sure we had the best experience. We visited the beach, went tequila tasting, jumped into the cenote, went snorkeling and had an authentic Mexican lunch all for only $80/person. They took care of all the entrance fees for the tequila tour, cenote (Jade Caverns) and snorkeling. All we had to do is sit back and enjoy the ride. It was definitely way more affordable than the excursions offered by the cruiseline and we got to do so much in just one day!!

Absolutely amazing local company, trip was worth every penny. If you want to experience all the best of Cozumel in a short time this is the tour to pick. Our guide Tomás was incredible and showed us around Mayan ruins and a cenote. We also were also able to drive around the island and see the beautiful views of the ocean and the massive jungle nature reserve in the middle of the island. Finally we finished of with a late lunch right next to the sea. The best part about this tour is it's completely private and self-guided. If you want to skip over certain section you can and if you want to spend longer at a specific spot you can do that as well. You don't have to wait for other people or stick to a specific schedule.

This was a great excursion! We set off in a jeep with just our driver, Sergio, and explored the island for hours. Sergio was great: friendly, informative, and very laid back. Water and beer were provided. We hadn’t expected a private tour so we were pleasantly surprised to find out it was just us on this excursion. We went to a tequila tasting, stopped at a beautiful beach, saw some sea turtle hatchlings waiting to be released, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery on the undeveloped eastern side of the island. The Cenote was quite far into the jungle on a very bumpy road but was worth the ride. Lovely cavern with plenty of bats, mineral water, and some wildlife. We were allowed to swim in the cenote, although I chose not to. Our final stop was a small resort where we had a fajita lunch and went swimming in the sea. Snorkeling equipment was available although we decided to swim without it instead. When we finally left, Sergio dropped us right at the port our cruise ship was docked at, a very welcome convenience as by that time we were tired, hot, and ready for a shower and a nap!

We thoroughly enjoyed our jeep tour around the island of Cozumel. Our guide, Angel, was very knowledgeable and a great tour guide. The weather was very rainy and windy but Angel adapted the day to try and make the most of the opportunities at the right time. The BEST ceviche at a funky roadside restaurant called Miami. A definite stop for anyone traveling on the east side of the island. The tequila tasting was short but very informative and the tequila was very delicious. The cenote was a bit disappointing as it was very small and had quite a lot of bats so definitely wouldn't have gone swimming in it but it was very pretty and a nice area to see. The area for snorkeling had really good food but the snorkeling was disappointing. This could have been due to the weather so I still gave this tour an excellent rating. Would definitely recommend this tour to friends traveling to Cozumel that have never been to this part of Mexico before.

Our tour guide, Angel, arrived right on time to pick us up. Communication was very good leading up to the tour. He was friendly and personal, and spoke very good english. Also, he was able to share local knowledge about the history of the island. We stopped in several places. One was a Mexican Breakfast at a tequila shop. There wasn't any pressure to buy but do your research on Reyes family tequila so you know what you're getting. We bought one bottle. We stopped at few places to take pictures on the east side of the island, and went to the Jade cavern/cenote. IT was interesting but not like some of the crystal clear ones you might expect. Just a short hike (2 min) from the parking to the view of the cenote. We finished up with lunch at Tortuga Beach club, which seems to be a hub for multiple excursions (we had started there for catamaran tour the day before). Food was really good and the included lunch was plenty.

This trip was supposed to be the jade cavern and cenote tour. We never ended up at the cenote. That was the major purpose of the trip! When I asked about it the guide had no idea what I was talking about so she took us to a lagoon that was in no way able to be snorkeled in. The tequila tasting was good and the lunch spot was decent. All in all not worth the money. We could have rented a jeep and had a better time.

Loved this excursion! This was perfect for our group of friends as we were on a cruise and wanted an adventure during our time in Cozumel. This tour did not disappoint as it was truly crafted to take us all over the island.
The meet up spot was very easy and simple to find and then we were able to hop into the jeep and immediately start touring. The jeeps were clean and air conditioned
Our tour guide Alex was awesome and spoke great English. He did a great job and had a cooler stock full of drinks, Mexican soda and water.
We enjoyed our stops at the Tequila Ranch, Highest point in Cozumel, visiting a Cenote, and opportunity to snorkel and eat authentic Mexican food.

Lastly, when we needed to add 2 more individuals to our reservations, the company was great, accommodating and flexible as we were able to make changes day of.

Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ as I highly recommend this company and plan to use the, again if I’m in Cozumel

This tour was amazing. I have visited the island of Cozumel before and gone on a Jeep tour with my family and had a great time, so I had high expectations coming back. This experience far exceeded those expectations. Our tour guide and driver, Sergio was knowledgeable, friendly, and an all around good dude to spend 6 hours with. He was very adaptable to what our preferences were and we felt like we had plenty of time at each stop of the tour. Cold beers and waters were provided and he kept them coming from the start! We thoroughly enjoyed the tequila tour and information. The beach stops were beautiful and secluded, so we did not feel overcrowded or like we were in a touristy part of the island. We were able to walk along the beach and have a good amount of privacy as we did so. The cenote was an unforgettable experience as well. We learned about the history and culture, and even jumped in. Lunch was delicious as well, and they were able to accommodate our vegan diet. We are looking forward to returning and seeing more of beautiful Cozumel. I highly recommend Sergio, who did an excellent job and gave us an amazing day full of great experiences. This was absolutely the highlight of our trip.
