I paid for and confirmed a round-trip transfer, the taxi company never picked us up for our return trip. Our trip was June 8th - June 15th. The details for return trip were made, agreed upon, and confirmed prior to trip (May 29-31) with the tour operator. Therefore, I’m really not sure why no one showed.

Jorge provided our family with a unique tour, based on our desires and interests. He was very communicative in advance of our arrival via a Royal Caribbean cruise. He conveniently picked us up just outside of the International Cruise terminal. Our group consisted of myself, my wife, and our two young children. This was our third time to visit Cozumel, and we didn’t want to see Mayan ruins or the tequila factory. Instead, we wanted a secluded beach, great local food, and whatever Cozumel highlights that Jorge thought would be meaningful. Jorge exceeded all expectations and provided a wonderful, 5-hour tour. Me and my wife enjoyed every minute of the tour, but so did our kids. Jorge went out of his way to make our kids feel special, and that was very appreciated! It's a racket. Taxis cannot pick up at the airport. You have to take either a shuttle bus, or a private car. If your hotel does not offer transportation, arrange for it in advance. Getting out of the airport terminal in Cozumel is always a fiasco. You run a gauntlet of vendors selling everything from time shares, to snorkel trips. Once we made our way outside, we had trouble finding our vendor, Taxi Cozumel. Asking around, we eventually found the right taxi. The trip to the hotel was uneventful. I wanted to confirm our return trip taxi, but found no convenient way to do so. I tried messaging the taxi operator, but got no response. Finally, I checked with the hotel concierge, and they confirmed our return taxi was scheduled. Not very reassuring, but we did get our scheduled ride.

I took my 9yr old daughter to Cozumel and our Airbnb host recommended Jorge for an island tour. It was a memorable time of our island trip! We felt safe and cared for the entire time. Jorge really knows the best spots on the island and its deep history. He is kind, engaging, and great at what he does! I hope to go again on a future trip!

Jorge is amazing! A person who really loves what he does. We had a great experience with his service and enjoyed a lot all the knowledge he has of the island. He is a person with kind heart that is good to be around. I recommend him a lot!

Excellent service, we didn't struggle to find them at the airport and they took us to our hotel quickly. A week later the private taxi arrived a few minutes early to wait for us at our hotel so as soon as we checked out he took us back to the airport, a very efficient and friendly service.

We had a blast from the beginning of our tour to the Tequila Tasting to Punta Sur and Playa Morena. We tried the best mojitos in town and the food in Playa Morena was great! Fernando our driver was super awesome!

My partner and I spent the day with our fantastic guide, Luis. He picked us up at our hotel on the east side, which was very convenient. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Cozumel. He made suggestions for sites to make the most of our day (including a great taco shop) and also accommodated all of our requested stops. We also needed to get COVID tests for our return flight the next day and Luis made that very easy, even stopping at a coffee shop with free wifi to allow us to ensure we received our results before heading back to our hotel. This tour was a great way to see Cozumel on our own agenda without some of the stress that comes with driving around the island yourself. I would highly recommend!

Great experience. Booked the day before arrival. Easy to find the staff, minimal wait, and it really helped things go smoothly. They got us a nice air conditioned shuttle that fit our luggage and our family of four. Will use this company again!

This service was AMAZING. They handled our transport from the port of Cozumel to our hotel and back, trips into downtown, an island tour, and a trip to Chankanab. They were always prompt, vehicles were clean, air conditioning was great, provided fantastic conversation and insight, and really did an awesome job. I highly recommend using their services!

We used Tours by Taxi Cozumel for all almost everything we did in Cozumel. Jorge is extremely responsive and always makes sure you are taken care of. The drivers are great and very friendly. We did an island tour with them as well and it was one of our favorite parts of the trip. Highly recommend booking with them for all transportation you need.
