WOW! Do not skip out on this one, my friends and I booked a guide our first day in Mexico in the spur of the moment and it ended up being the highlight of our trip! Our guides Juan, Santiago, and a few more were so kind, helpful, and hilarious! They provided ice-cold beer, water, and juice and had us laughing the whole time. This was our very first time snorkeling and they made it very simple and we all felt so safe! One of my friends isn't a strong swimmer and had a slight fear of water, but our guides made her feel so comfortable and she ended up having a blast saying she needs to do it again! we were so grateful for this experience and so happy we chose them! Thank you!!

I booked the "glass bottom boat" snorkeling tour on "Cubana" in Cozumel as an Airbnb experience. I was disappointed when I saw that the boat did not have a glass bottom, but only a small window in the middle of the boat. To see anything, you had to go to the middle of the boat to look over a partition into the window. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the tour operator and requested a refund. They declined the refund, and they advised me to "investigate more thoroughly before booking" next time.

We did a private tour with them 6 years ago. I have now written over 2700 reviews, travelled extensively, and this is my favorite tour operator! I reached out to Arturo (the owner). He remembered us and was able to set up a tour with short notice for us. We booked a last minute cruise 2 days prior to it's sailing. It was incredibly easy to find from the cruise port. Arturo met us and introduced us to Xavier (Shabby). He was our guide for the day. It was great to have a private, safe, affordable tour for 2. He had a large passenger van with complementary drinks. We asked for a local tour and he took us to some of the best hidden gems. We loved the local market to eat and shop. We saw no other cruise guests at our stops (exactly what we wanted, to be local, no crowds). Since our last visit they have opened up their glass bottom boat tours, AMAZING!. Arturo is immediate to respond and is fabulous at customizing a tour for you that is very affordable. We were able to be flexible with our day with Shabby and extend our day of fun. He also took us to an amazing little local jewelry maker who made his own black coral jewelry. Pride in safety, cleanliness, affordability, quality and fun is clear with Safe Tours Cozumel.

We did the 2 tank discover scuba dive trip with them yesterday. It was fantastic. Very well run, safe, helpful. Can’t say enough good things about these guys. Highly recommend this company.

My friends and I had a last minute change of plans and were lucky enough to find Braulio! After giving us a nice tour of town (with lots of photo opportunities!) we were lead to a resort where the boat met us at the doc. We were offered yummy drinks and everyone was extremely kind, especially after one of my friends got seasick. The fish were amazing, and it was great to see the natural and artificial reefs, one spot even had little jellyfish! Overall, it was a fantastic experience :)

We had a great time during the private 5-hour island tour with Safe Tours Cozumel. It's the perfect way to explore the island! We really got helped by Arturo to book the trip exactly how we wanted, thanks to him we even could enjoy our trip on the same day we booked. He gave us all the information we needed and even picked us op personally at the pier. Our local guide Xavi was very nice, caring and had a lot of knowledge. Thanks to him we discovered some of the most beautiful spots on the island, enjoyed some time at a lovely beachclub (which was also a great place to do some snorkling) and learned a lot about the history of the island and the people. I really would recommend Safe Tours to everyone who likes to discover Cozumel!

Julian was a wonderful tour guide and took very good care of us and made sure we seen beautiful fish and told us information about the coral reef. Carrie assisted and the Capitan Carolina made sure we had a perfect experience! We can’t recommend this company enough. This is our 11th time to Cozumel and it was very joyous. We got a bit of a bait and switch. We ended up on a tour with Sharks Adventure through Safe Tours. The pig piled too many people on a small boat. The tour guides were not cheery, they didn't make it a good time like your guides usually do. We had to put all our things up top and give our shoes only to get them back on the dock after the tour after. It was very strange. We didn't go to Palancar, Columbia, and El Cielo like we were supposed to. Only palancar and El Cielo. We left pretty late. I've never had a bad experience on a snorkel tour and this one was just not great.

Had a great with Xavier from Safe Tours. On a cruise for mom's birthday, so we did the Private Island Tour with Tequila Tasting and Lunch. Xavierbwas so knowledgeable and patient. Stopped when we wanted to take pictures, took us everywhere we wanted to go. Had a great lunch and tasted amazing tequilas. This is the 2nd time that I have booked Safe Tours, and Xavier and Arturo didn't disappoint. If visiting Cozumel, be sure to look them up!!!!!

Just spent a wonderful day snorkeling with Safe Tours Cozumel! From the owner's initial greeting to the delicious lunch at Tortugas Beach Club, the entire trip was full of fun and surprises. The snorkel guide, Julian, was both friendly and safe. He also showed us the platforms being used to regenerate corals, 2 baby nurse sharks and a flying gurnard...what a treat! I would highly recommend Safe Tours Cozumel.

This cruise/snorkeling tour was the highlight of our visit in Cozumel! Our Guide, Manto, photographer, Adrian, and our captain (can't remember is name, lo siento) were friendly, knowledgeable, and fun! The reefs were beautiful, and the fish abundant. The crew was so sweet when my daughter lost her breakfast all over the deck they didn't even blink. They made sure she was OK, cleaned it up, and cheered her up. I highly recommend boarding the Cubana and spending a couple of hours with these guys.

Terrific!!!! Julian and B (not going to Massacre the poor guy’s name) were terrific! The owner of the tour met us in front of the hotel and they took us through to the boat while we waited for the other folks. They went ahead and took us out and motored around while we waited for the other couple too and we were able to look at the area through the glass bottom boat. They were super informative and we had a terrific time. The price for this tour is such a steal too! Due to Covid they provide new/sealed snorkel tubes and you get to take them home. Would highly recommend this tour!
