Would not recommend, especially at or after 2pm
We went on the tour which started at 2pm. There was not adequate time for the activities, and it isn’t recommended that you start at this time or any later. We paid for, but did not receive: Snorkel at Sky Reef Beach Club Mexican Meal After the ATV tour to the cenotes (where we had the expectation of swimming but could not - bats live in these cenotes and people don’t actually swim in them), at 3:30pm, we told him to not go to the Punta Sur eco park, as we were overheated, hungry, and not properly prepared by our guide in regards for the entire experience. We told him that we wanted to go to the beach and eat. The guide chose not to listen, even after agreeing to our requests, and instead stopped at the Eco Park, and at multiple locations there which we did not want to spend time at, and was clearly expressed. We requested to go to the beach, to get in the water first since we did not get to get in the cenotes, but the tour guide drove us up the east side of the island and took us to the tequila tasting instead. Before it started, he said if the restaurant was closed, that he would take us to a different restaurant instead. Once tequila tasting was done, he told us the beach club for snorkeling and dinner was already closed, and we would have to take a taxi to the location the following day to “make up for it”. We should not have to arrange and pay for a taxi to take us to the beach club, as the guide should have taken us as part of the experience. When I followed up with the owner and shared the above, he apologized and offered a full refund, but he has not responded to my details request or any follow up since. I understand this may have been out of the ordinary, which is why I chose to handle it with him first. The fact that the majority of the payment is due in cash makes it nearly impossible to rectify the situation without his cooperation.

    A great time with a great driver/guide
Gabriel was fantastic. He arrived on time at our hotel and are discussing with him the plan and what all we would like to do, we were off. He had water, beer, and soda for us and was super knowledgeable and friendly; we got lots of information and tips from him. The lighthouse and beaches were wonderful, the lunch was great (bring some extra money for drinks and an appetizer), the tequila was good, and the snorkeling was awesome — Gabriel did this (snorkeling) with us as well which was nice. It was from 10-3. We really enjoyed this and would do it again!

Great way with an amazing tour guide to go around Cozumel!
Very well-organized tour. Miguel was punctual, flexible, and knowledgable which made this a great experience. I can sometimes get carsick but his driving was also very smooth and I didn't have a single issue. Would highly recommend this tour if you want to visit the best of Cozumel!

    Great day in Cozumel
It was a little farther than I thought to walk to the meeting place from the port. But once we found it and got picked up it was a great day! We went to the marina where the boat was and met our 2 guides. The boat went to 4 spots. A reef, sea turtles, starfish, and a shallow sand bar. We were served chips and salsa and guac with fruit. The guides made the guac and salsa on the boat! We had beer, soda, and water also included. The guides also took some amazing pics of us snorkeling, especially with the turtles. It was a great day!

Unorganized, late, and not family operated
Unorganized, late, and not really family operated. They were half an hour late for pick up, and the transportation to and from pick up was in someone’s personal junky car. Once at the Marina we had to wait another half hour to board the boat. An hour lost already. Once we paid and boarded, they were 16 passengers, not the 12 only as advertised. The 2 people working the boat we very nice, but they are not “family” as stated in the details. They are simply hired by Carla, the organizer. All 3 snorkel spots were indeed amazing, but the first one it was pouring rain with a lot of lightning……probably not too safe. At El Cielo the adults were all given a beer. When trying to get another we were told we had to wait until they served food. After a while they provided chips, guacamole, and some fruit. They had 5 beers left for the 12 adults, meaning some got 2 beers and others got only one. Not exactly any all inclusive I am used to! I didn’t expect to get wasted are anything but it sure is nice to have more than 2 beers for what was supposed to be a 4.5 hour trip. Upon return I explained this to Carla, and all of the other passengers were equally displeased. She offered us a beer at that time, but it was a moot point since the tour was over!! She blamed the guys on the boat, but since is the one providing them the beer and food, she should have made sure they were fully stocked! She decided to give the adults $10 back to each. But then we had to wait a half hour for transportation back to hotel. Again, in a junky car with no AC and the transmission just about to fail. This is not a family owned and operated as stated. It is not 4.5 hours long, and it’s not “all inclusive”.

Perfect Day in Cozumel with the Perfect Guide
Miguel ‘Padrino’ was our guide and he was just the best! He was laid back, informative, fun, and flexible. We told him that we wanted to see sites, animals, eat and drink, and most importantly snorkel. He had no problem switching the itinerary around for us, but still made sure we had time to do everything we had in mind. We started with a tequila tasting, then headed to the lighthouse and ecological reserve for some sites. Then, he brought us to a special spot for the freshest ceviche made with fish caught that day (not included in the tour, but awesome spot and awesome ceviche). We decided to skip the complimentary lunch because we were having too much fun and also just had a ceviche snack. Lastly, we headed to snorkel where he came out with us to show us all the spots to see the most exciting fish… so many cool fish!! I don’t drink, but my sister does, and he made sure there was something for both of us at every stop… very very cool. We can’t recommend him enough, and his love of Cozumel just transferred to us with this adventure.

Cenote disgusting, tour guide was good.
The items listed on what was included, were not. No beer in the cooler and 3 of the places on the itinerary were not visited, not sure why they said admission was included for all those places, only one required admission. Lunch portion was small and average, no drinks included except water. The Cenote was a dank hole that smelled like sewer and no one would swim in it. The bats were cool. Our tour guide was very nice and the jeep and ATV's were in good shape although they only had 2 for the 4 of us. The tour was average at best and not worth the money.

    Must do!
One of the most beautiful places we have been! We visit several snorkeling places and finish at El cielo, we got to have a delicious lunch in the clear water while stingrays and other fish were swimming next to us.

    Not worth the money.
Carlos tried to fit a lot of things in a small amount of time. There was ALOT of drive time and not actually excursion time! The tequila room was great and very informative. Snorkeling time was WAY too short. Cenote was NOT as advertised!!! Very disgusting but we didn’t come all that way to not jump in! Here’s to hoping my son-in-law and I don’t get some infection!😂😂 All in all, decent but way overpriced.

    Disorganized and Overpriced
Colombia reef is beautiful and El Cielo beach is breathtaking!! We did a similar excursion last year (booked through our resort) which was great. This year, I wanted to plan ahead. We booked a 1:30pm excursion for the second day of our trip. We went to the meeting place (our resorts’ dock) shortly after the confirmation call that they were on their way (1:27pm). We waited at the dock until just after 3pm before calling to reschedule. They were very apologetic and quickly accommodated our request to book an earlier time (11:30am) for another day. I even received a rebooking message via TripAdvisor within minutes. On the day we rescheduled, they picked us up around 12:20pm which is understandable because our resort is one of the furtherest from the main pier. We were dropped off, post-excursion, at 3:10pm (I took a photo from the dock as we were walking off and it’s time-stamped at 3:12pm) which means the total time of the excursion, for us, was under 3 hours. That said, the 4 hours and 30 minutes that’s advertised is likely for those coming from the main pier and means you’re spending 1-1.5 hours for pickup/drop off as well as travel to/from the reefs. Personally, I booked this company because they are willing to pick up at the resort (why pay a taxi to take you to the pier only to travel right past your resort by boat?) but, if I were coming off a cruise ship looking to spend 4+ hours at the reefs, I’d be a little frustrated and disappointed. All in all, it was an okay time. The pickup process was disorganized and the experience was not worth the stress or the price. I think the advertised ‘4+ hours at the reefs’ is misleading and the $69/person is overpriced for what you get.

    Not good
    1. Tour guide was 20/30 minutes late. Was supposed to start at 8:30. 2. 1/2 of our party had to change vehicles 3 times. Low tire on original Jeep. 3. Beach club was nice, food/drinks were too expensive. Yes, I know it was our choice to order, but we were hungry. 4. Wasn’t really customizable, we went on their pre-planned trip. They weren’t super flexible. We ran out of time to go swim with the stingrays. We should have done it first. It took forever to get to Punta Sur. It was okay, not great. That’s when the vehicle swapping started & the driver of the other car ls rode with them. 5. Ripped off at the restaurant we stopped at. We got screwed ordering from the menu- partially our fault too, but we did trusted our waiter. 6. Tequila tour was ok. Not great. 7. Because of the vehicle issues, we didn’t make it to town to shop. We were worn out from the nonsense.

    Horrible Experience!
Well, we arrived at the port of Cozumel from Carnival, and they were nowhere to be found. We called and no one ever answered the phone. We asked around different people and even security and they kept sending us to different locations to look for them to meet. We looked in the buses and taxis parking area...nothing!!! These people are a rip off, never found them, we lost our excursion and our money! We spent 2 hours looking for them!

    Great tour. Adriana was awesome!
This was a guided tour with four of us with the guide driving the Jeep. Our tour guide Adriana spent time with us before we left port to make sure we did the things we wanted to do. She was knowledgeable about the area and the history. We went to a tequila tasting and then stopped for lunch and on to a nice ocean front bar with great Mojitos. We got to visit the Mayan ruin, and ended our trip at the beach where we could swim and enjoy drinks. We would highly recommend this tour and specifically Adriana. Make sure you bring CASH (USD accepted) for shipping and things not included in the tour like drinks at the local bars, and of course, to tip your guide at the end.

Overall this was a fun day in Cozumel. Our tour guide Maria was awesome. She was willing to accommodate us to where we wanted to go. We saw most of the island, beautiful beaches, snorkeling, replica of a Mayan village that was very informative and had nice natural products to purchase.
A few suggestions for improvement :
Please send exact directions of where to meet at least a week in advance. Receiving emails or texts while on a cruise ship are extremely expensive, so most people have phones turned off. So just a bit confusing when we got out of the port.
Please remove the Ecological Park de Sur from the list of included stops as it has been closed to the public.
Maybe include some time in downtown Cozumel.

We had a great tour with Paco who was a fantastic guide. We visited a tequila factory which was interesting, went to a Mayan village which was a bit staged, would opt for the lighthouse next time. We stopped at a beautiful beach to swim and then drove to snorkel on the reef. Paco was so patient with my kids who were first time snorkelers and they had a great time! Paco was so sweet. My kids saw his soda in the cooler which was not part of our package (beer and water was) and he stopped at the side of the rode and bought them drinks and cookies. We had a great time! Would recommend!

Just want to do a shout out to Ruy and Dune Buggy Tours 🙂 We booked through Expedia. Best excursion we've ever been on. Just my husband and I in an air conditioned Jeep with Ruy as our guide/driver for 6 hours. We could have driven ourselves but we preferred to watch the scenery. As we were driving Ruy gave us a history of Cozumel. We visited the lighthouses including the ruins of the first Mayan lighthouse. We went to a place with Mangroves, crocodiles and climbed the watch tower. We could have gone snorkeling but didn't want to. Everything was at our pace and he answered any question we had and some we didn't know we had. They provided all the beverages for the whole time plus lunch at San Marten Beach. We could have went to the larger Mayan ruins which would have been $11 extra/person but decided to do some shopping instead. Booking at the resort would have been $120/person on a group tour where you have to drive yourself and you don't have private access to the guide for the entire time plus you can only go where they say and aren't able to change the trip to suit yourself.

Booking and communication were excellent. We were traveling with another couple, who both knew how to drive a stick shift, however my husband and I did not. I specifically requested that we ride with the driver, and that our friends would drive their own vehicle, but when we arrived there was only 1 dune buggy for our entire party (including the guide). We lost about an hour getting this figured out, but eventually they brought over another dune buggy. We had a lot flexibility where we went, and our guide was very knowledgeable and accomodating. We stopped for tequila tasting, and then went to Xunaan Experiences Tour for a glimpse into the Mayan culture. It's a small area that's filled with artifacts and explanation about the Mayan lifestyle. We were then hungry for lunch (it was already 2:30), but the "included" lunch was at one specific place, back near where we started which was about a 1/2 hour drive. We had a table near the beach and had a choice of three entrees. No beverages were included (apparently when the driver offered us bottled water, that was the included beverage). It was a REALLY chilly day, so we didn't spend a lot of time eating, nor did we go on the beach. We didn't have time to see any other attractions, so our driver took us around and showed us local homes (at our request). We definitely would have planned our day differently, knowing that the place for lunch was pre-determined. With that in mind, I recommend this tour.

At first it was a little scary because I didn't get the email with more information until 2/2 and by that time we had already left for port and as an older generation we don't do email on our phones, so we didn't see the email until our return. We were directed (by another company's dune buggy service guide) several places before we met up with our guide, Antonio. Antonio was very nice and answered all our questions, JC, the coordinator was also very nice and helpful. Maybe if the guide could bring a sign with the family's name that he/she is supposed to meet it would be more helpful, but other than that it was a fun experience. We drove down the coastline, went to the lighthouse and went for lunch! We went to the lagoon and saw crocs too! Delightful

I've read some of the reviews about being "fleeced" and taken to places only to spend more money, etc. Well buddy, welcome to Mexico! Keep in mind you don't have to buy any of that stuff. My girlfriend and I had a great time! Miguel was our driver. He was very personable and knowledgeable. I definitely felt like I was hanging out with someone I knew versus a total stranger. He took us to some great spots where we snorkeled, walked around a protected wetland area, climbed a lighthouse, had a drink on a very scenic beach, had a decent lunch (I'm not going to say it was awesome, but it was "free" and I was hungry) and yes, we went to a tequila establishment that I had no interest in. Keep in mind they're not forcing you to buy anything. I told our driver upfront we weren't tequila drinkers, but we would be happy to check it out. We ended up getting a few free shots, the host was a nice guy and we did end up finding some cool bracelets there, so it wasn't all that bad. Anyway, fun excursion with a local who knew the answers to all my questions. Just know when you're in Mexico you're going to get hit from every angle regardless. Just strap on your "No Gracias" hat and enjoy the ride!

If you enjoy snorkeling in choppy water, this is for you! If you enjoy driving a dune buggy on the road, this is for you. If you enjoy the excursion to be late, this is for you. If you enjoy timeshare type sales, this is for you.

I prefer to enjoy my time driving and enjoying private Beaches. This is not that. 1st stop, over saturated rocky Beach with thousands of your friends. Make sure you tip everyone, I won't, cause I didn't ask for any of this.

I get there is some sort of sales pitch always, bit not 6 minutes into the $100 tour x 4 people. What a waste.

We are so sorry you didn't enjoy your trip. Choppy water is out of our control. We apologize for the delay. Cozumel is a small island and during high season it is probably that you will find many people around trying also to have a good time. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.

We purchased this excursion outside of our cruise line. The details on finding the pick-up location are precise. The people at the shopping mall are all helpful locating our guide. Alejandro was our tour guide. He was absolutely amazing, patient, and fun. He gave us all the history of the area. He was caring and considerate. He helped us with snorkeling with our girls (their first time). The food was good. With this tour, you'll get more than you would with other excursions. I highly recommend and would definitely come back again.
