Jerry was our guide. He was very easy to find right outside the cruise terminal with his yellow hat. He has stated he forgot something at home and would we mind driving back there and it was nice to see the real parts of Cozumel not the tourist section. We had him drive out to punta sur. We wanted to climb the lighthouse. We were also given the opportunity to look at alligators but since it was wet and raining we declined that. We did climb the lighthouse and Jerry also had some interesting local information. For those going on the same journey be aware that the road to get into the park is extraordinarily bumpy. It is impossible to avoid the potholes.. Then we just drove up the beach and he stopped and showed us the place to get a good margarita and some fantastic pictures. There are really neat rock formations and great for unique pictures. Along the way he knew lots of history of the island and we learned all there was to learn about turtle eggs which was fascinating that every morning the government comes out and searches for nests and marks them and the road around the island there is closed all night. He is a wealth of information and I recommend asking for him if you book The tour and he even brought along soda and water which was nice.

Jerry was wonderful! He met our requirements for traveling around the island. We went to local restaurants, ate street food, traveled to far side of the island. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful tour with Julio. He taught us a lot about Cozumel and its history. He really tailored the tour to what we wanted to see. He was engaging and informative. We enjoyed the chocolate and tequila tastings. The van was cool and comfortable, and Julio provided us with water and soda. I would highly recommend this tour!

My friends and I had a great day in Cozumel with driver Gerry! We had booked a 3-hour tour on an air-conditioned van which ran over to 4 hours, but that was fine with us. He was so attentive and sweet to everyone and there were 8 of us. He first took us to the chocolate factory where we met with Nancy for a very interesting lesson on the process of making chocolate. It was first discovered by the Mayans and Nancy had us do a taste test with actual cocoa beans and each of the different flavors that have been added over the years. From there Gerry took us to the tequila distillery where we learned all about the process of making tequila and did the taste testing tour with Arthuro. From there we wanted to see the beach and Gerry stopped at several beautiful places for photos. We so enjoyed our tour and getting to know Gerry!! He even stopped the van at one scenic beach restaurant (none of us wanted to eat or have drinks at that point) and he sang a beautiful song just for us before taking us back to the pier. We highly recommend Tours Plaza. The only glitch was finding Gerry. He was waiting for us in front of the International Diamonds store and it seemed that all the jewelry stores we came to in the mall were claiming to be that store.

We did a 4 hour tour of where we chose to go, Mezcalitos, Chen Rio, and Paradise Bar! Our driver, Sergio, was fantastic- friendly, engaging, and knowledge!!!

Gerry was our driver. We've used in many times. He's very accommodating and let us build our own sightseeing tour for the day. He took us wherever we wanted to go and waited for us. Super relaxing an a great time.

We had a great tour with Miguel as our driver. He shared info about history of the island while we drove to the San Gervasio ruin and showed us a cool “sunken” cenote along the way. We hired a guide to take the three of us around the archeological site, which I highly recommend. Our guide had Maya roots and was able to tell us a lot about the history of the place. We then drove along the east side of the island and stopped for lunch along the beautiful beach. Then onto the tequila and chocolate tasting tours which are included. I am aware that “included” tours are expecting you to purchase - it we truly enjoyed both tours and happily purchased tequila and chocolate. It was nice to have a driver navigate everything for the day.

We had a really nice island tour with Eduardo. Our young adults especially liked the tequila tasting tour. Eduardo told a lot about the island's history and everything interesting about the island. The time passed very quickly, although at first it seemed that 5 hours is too much to go around the island.

We had a party of 10 going on the excursion. Communication was great prior to booking with answering our questions about the tour. We purchased the 3 hour tour with 1 additional hour to make sure we had enough time. It was easy to locate Mr. Gerry at the port. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. We went to chocolate tasting, tequila tasting, the Wild Side, and shopping. Along the way one of our friends wasn't feeling well and Mr. Gerry called and got him a taxi back to the port while we continued on. He checked in with the driver to ease our mind that our friend arrived back safely. We never felt rushed at each stop and Mr. Gerry stayed close by as we explored. Mr. Gerry provided snacks and beverages which we greatly appreciated. I would definitely book this company again!

They provided a Private one on one service and a Custom tour based on our needs instead of a cookie cutter experience. Very accommodating to our needs, we had a handicapt person in our group that needed assistance.

Easy and affordable option! We came into Cozumel on a cruise ship for our Honeymoon. I had been to Cozumel previously so I knew some places I wanted to visit as well as some places I hadn’t been and wanted to check out. None of the cruise ships excursions offered an option to go where we wanted and when we contacted the cruise line to see about hiring a driver they responded with an option that was more than twice the price of Tours Plaza. We had Sergio for five hours and went bar hopping on the “wild side” of the island. Sergio was knowledgeable about the island so we got to learn some fun island info and he took us to a bar that wasn’t on our list that was known for their mojitos. Delicious!! He met us right at the cruise pier and dropped us off in the same spot. He was also happy to take photos of us so we could capture the moments. My husband was nervous about not booking through the cruise line but afterward said he was glad we did.

We booked a very last minute (day before) private tour of Cozumel. The driver (Jerry) was on time and was there waiting for us even before the agreed time (we arrived by cruise ship). The tour was far less expensive than similar tours offered by the cruise ship itself. Jerry was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and took us anywhere we wanted to go (Mayan Ruins, beach, reef swim, and also told us about historical places / events along the way). Jerry was regularly in contact with his colleagues during the tour to check the status of water clarity etc on certain beach’s to ensure he found the best one for us for snorkeling - great service and beyond what we would usually expect a driver to do!! We really enjoyed the trip, and the helpful friendly staff made it even better. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough, we got a great private tour, seeing more places and for a much better price than the cruise companies offer themselves. Thanks very much!

Another wonderful day spent with Gerry! Gerry is the consummate professional, with an engaging personality. He offers suggestions if you aren’t quite sure how to spend your day in Cozumel, and we never leave disappointed. His van was comfortable, and had a cooler full of water and soft drinks for us. Our best trips are spend driving to the east side of the island, having an amazing mojito at a beach bar, followed by lunch at Señor Iguanas. Pick up and drop off is at the port is easy, and Gerry is easy to spot in his yellow hat. 100% recommendation from me!

Our driver was extremely nice and knowledgeable! It was so nice being driven around the island and given some history between our actual stops. The stops themselves were, of course, pretty touristy, but for our first time in Cozumel it was a perfect introduction. We absolutely loved the chocolate and tequila tastings, and the San Gervasio site is a must see.

Everything went as planned. Our tour guide, Jerry was waiting for us. Made sure we seen everything we wanted, even if it was pouring rain. Thanks for the memories.
