I booked this trip for my 12-year old son and I. We expected to be fishing just off shore with light tackle…something he could actively participate in. Instead they took us way out for deep sea fishing, which is basically watching the crew fish. My son was really bummed, we spent 4 hours basically doing nothing. There was never even a mention of snorkeling. It was essentially a really expensive boat ride.

We have just done the private Whale Shark tour from Marina Chac Chi with Sergio as our guide and Captain Miguel. Absolutely everything about the trip was fantastic - our transport (a spacious minibus) to and from the marina was spot on time picking us up at the resort and was available straight away when we returned back from the water. The "Off Duty" was a great boat - comfortable through the waves and got us to the feeding area in less than an hour. We were lucky that Sergio spotted a group of whale sharks in less than 10 minutes. In total we probably spent about an hour in the water with the Whale Sharks, so loads of time! We were also fortunate to be joined by three huge Manta Rays. Sergio was constantly pointing out where the sharks and rays were, positioning us to get the best vantage point as they swam past us. I could go on and on...suffice to say that this was the most awesome trip, thank you Marina Chac Chi!!!

Booked a sport fishing charter based out of Chacchi fishing club, from Terramar Travel, Plaza Terramar, Kukulcan blvd. They cancelled the Charter 2 days in a row for no known reasons. I was leaving and could not postpone it to another day. They refused to give me my money back and substituted a disgusting jungle 2 hr ride on a dingy like boat going around the channels, where they showed us a few small snorkeling zebra fish that arrived when food was thrown at them and one crocodile lying on a pier - an obvious plant! Oh, and you have to drive your own boat! Worst experience ever. Never book anything out of Chacchi or Terramar travel in Cancun.

We did 2 full days of Fishing! Caught the most fish we have ever caught in the 40 years I have been fishing. Captain Juan and First Mate Frank were amazing! I have never been on a boat with a Mate that worked that hard. He watched the lines for the slightest tug and was on it. Standing all day!! He never sat down except to bait the hooks. We caught so much that we ran out of bait! Jaime the sales guy did us right! Very Very Very happy with the whole experience!

Captain Juan, mate Luis and mate Jesus were a fun group and equally excited as us when we started catching fish. While we got caught in some shower bursts, we had fun, caught several different kinds of fish and now have good memories of the experience. Thank you captain Juan for finding the right fishing spot and thank you Luis and Jesus for helping bring the fish in for great camera shots.

I purchased an 8 hour off shore fishing charter for my family and I (7 people total). This was my second experience with this service. The first time was incredible and my second trip out performed the first! Capital Mich/Migul and first mate Alan expertly put us on fish from the get go and we hooked fish ALL day long. While we caught a wide variety of fish of all sizes, most impressive was the large barracuda and mahi that we caught. I can guarantee we'll be back many more times!

6 hour Charter fishing out of Chac Chi Fishing and Yacht Club Great experience started off with Miguel reservations, reception and office manager Excellent captain: Miguel Best mate ever: Jorge (not only an excellent teacher and guide. He also made sure the guest were happy, comfortable as possible and most importantly made sure we caught lots of fish!) I can’t wait to get out pics taken by Katherin

Best fishing trip. Captain Pedro is great. His crew Recardo and Julio helped with the fishing and making sure all the fish we caught was cleaned so we could take it home.

Pedro our captain was outstanding! He was all about safety and making us feel comfortable. Julio and Daniel went out of the way to make us feel comfortable and make sure we had everything we needed or wanted. They quickly changed out the baits to live fresh bait when they realized we weren't catching immediately. Soon after that we got two sailfish biting at the same time. My husband and I fought them and brought them in. Julio and Daniel quickly lifted them in by the bill and let us take a quick photo before setting them free. It was an excellent experience! I really recommend this crew they really know what they're doing.

We had a great time fishing all day. The wind was too heavy for snorkeling but we caught lots of fish. Captain Juan and his crew Luis & Ricardo did great work helping us fish. They have a great setup & beautiful marina. We enjoyed have the marina cook the fish & enjoy a fresh fisherman’s dinner.

Captain Arture and First Mate. Franklin did an awesome job taking care of us and putting us onto fish. We called them and they clean them and had our hotel cook them and turned out to be a wonderful family meal visiting about the day. Thank you.

We we deep sea fishing and had a wonderful time. Captain Juan took us where the fish were at and Tony and Luis who were our deck hands were exceptional. Thank you for beautiful memories

We had a great time with Aurturo and his crew. The boat was nice and they did a fantastic job helping us fish. They baited the lines and kept them in the water until they had a fish on there line. Once the hook was set they would hand us the poles in the fighting chair and we would real the fish in. All 8 of us caught fish, all barracuda. Each person was quite tired by three times they talked their fish in, they really fight. The water was rough for us and we forgot our Dramamine. Big mistake, 3 of us were quite sick, remember your Dramamine. After we had all caught fish we had them take us to Isla Mujeres. We had a fun time on the island. We would definitely fish with them again.

We went fishing in Oct31st. Gustavo and captain were amazing! Even with tuff sea conditions they did everything to make our fishing experience great and productive. And we caught a lot of barracudas and one beautiful sailfish! Thanks to their support and atitude!

Although my wife and I got sea sick and had to head back about an hour early, it was a blast! They are very accommodating and strived for customer satisfaction. They had a Bonito hooked fast once we hit the spot. Soon after that a small tuna. Then a decent sized Barracuda and a Mahi Mahi. Then they cooked the Mahi and it was amazing. Highly recommend these guys!
