- samla28820 contributionsSpeedy RefundWriting this review to comment on their customer service. We were not able to take the excursion due to weather. We were updated days before of possible reschedule because of rain. We couldn't reschedule because we had to return home. They let me know of my other options and opted for refund. Refund took about 3 days to show on card. Hope to be able to take excursion next time we are in Cancun.Written September 18, 2024
- Happyneuron10 contributionsAbsolute mustI just did the night light and sound show. I had seen Similar pyramids on Cozumel cruise in daytime.Surprised to see so few people. Having seen light sound shows in Egypt India I prefer them because of the magical elements that can't be seen in day times. Was not disappointed. Infact left overjoyed. The laser technology is so advanced that the experience is simply incredible and unforgettable. This is a must do. As they say one picture says more than a thousand words. This experience will prove it. I rented a car from Cancun airport Drove straight down the toll road. Total toll about 450-475 Mexican pesos.Make sure you have cash. Stayed at Chichinitza hotel which is a mile away from the site. Had dinner and headed out. Parking about 160-180 pesos. Tickets 42 USD. Paid with card. Show ends around 815-830. After show realized that Didn't really need to stay overnight and could drive back in 2 and half hrs. But being first time driving on Mexican roads had booked hotel and so stayed back . Toll road/ easy straight drive/ great road/ navigating with google maps was perfect. Must do experience.Written May 29, 2024
- Cheyenne H0 contributionsTHIS WAS ONE OF MY FAVS!This one was one of my favorites! The camels are so gentle and sweet our speedy shuttle driver was a little late (not his fault) and the camel tour guides waited for us even though they were technically closed, which I thought was wonderful of them to do! Tour guide Bernard was very informative on information and tour guide Javier and Alexander were helpful and supportive of safety! I really enjoyed this, it was wonderful interacting with the camels and feeding them and hugging them. They really are gentle giants!Written November 22, 2023
- Voyager634682363950 contributionsRest and Rejuvenation at its finest! Our cozy cabin with incredible views of the Homer Spit and surrounding area from the balcony, included a kitchenette a Queen bed and a single bed. The breakfasts are fit for a king or queen, including eggs, bacon, reindeer sausage, yogurt, fresh fruit, muffins , an array of Alaskan homemade jams and sauces (spruce tip, fireweed, strawberry rhubarb) plus each day either pancakes french toast or other creation that Maria makes( we had chilequiles one morning as well! Too good to not overeat, but the food stayed with me all day!! And you can buy Maria’s cookbook with all those scrumptious recipes!!!😋 Looking forward to seeing you again next year, Maria!!!Written September 24, 2023
- kendad20220 contributionsA great excursion! We had such a great time ! We were picked up on time at our resort lobby and off we went ! ATV to the tower for zip lining, lunch and then the cenote . - realfun110 contributionsWonder experience and felt very safeThere are multiple transfers to destination, but the travel guide stayed with us the whole trip making us feel very secure. Snorkeling guide was fantastic got us up close with sting rays If we asked. Bring a sun shirt bc suntan lotion isn't allowed, I got a bad sunburn without a sun shirt, very enjoyable tour I would highly recommend!Written April 23, 2023
- mhblake10 contributionsSnorkeling in CozumelThis was an amazing experience with an opportunity to be somewhat better. Communication with this company was great. They pick you up at your hotel, which for us was in the Rivera Maya, and transport you to the Winjet Ferry to go over to Cozumel. The company, prior to being picked up, messengers you when you are to leave. Because food was going to be served I notified the company that we have celiac disease and they were able to accommodate the breakfast snack and the provided lunch. The morning (7:30), due to where we were located, was taken up by transporting us to Cozumel by taxi and water taxi. Once in Cozumel you are again taxied to the dock to go to the reefs. We had a total in our group 7 people and at this time had another 3 people joined to us on our snorkeling adventure. We then boated to the different reefs. We had a very clear and calm day. Temp was 84 degrees with a slight breeze. Because of this the water was perfect for snorkeling. The reefs and El Cielo beach were amazing! We were able to see multiple different types of tropical fish. We were able to see huge starfish. There were multiple stingrays. We had an incredible underwater photographer, Ana, that took amazing photographs of my family, the reefs, and fish. She also fed fish which led to our group being surrounded by schools of fish. Her work can be seen on instagram at mimundounderwater. I would recommend purchasing her pictures. They turned out great! The ship's captain had multiple beverages to drink. They also had refreshing pineapple available to eat after each snorkel. After the snorkeling you are brought to a local restaurant and eat tacos. The food was ok; however, they did cater to us being celiac which was a plus. You pay for your own taxi back to the Winjet pier. I wish we could have travelled back to our hotel after the late lunch; however, we had 2 hours to kill at the pier. There were shops around to look. I would have either liked to snorkel for longer or, once the late lunch was done, be brought back to our hotel. After the water taxi we had to wait again at an outdoor mall for another hour before being taxied back to our hotel. If you wanted to shop it would have been a great opportunity to shop at the mall. By this time it was 5 pm and we were ready to be back. We left at 6pm and were back to our hotel by 7pm. It was a fun full day. If we didn't have the two times of downtime we would have been back by 4 pm which would have been perfect. All in all we would do it again.Written April 15, 2023
- River20880 contributionsVery disappointingVery disappointing. Temge cenote is one pool. Nice but small. Other cenotes like Rio secreto are way better. The ATV was a joke. Boring trail. Nothing to see or do. Guide was very strict. I wouldn't do it there. Also they try to sell you to buy unnecessary insurance.Written December 23, 2022
- kendra v0 contributionsEntertainment good food notWhen we first arrived there we were treated kindly. The ship is pretty cool looking and the show was good. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves, I get a little seasick so I took medicine for that. Glad that I did because the boat was rocking pretty good. The drinks that they serve taste like they water them down so be aware of that. The food that they serve (we paid for the deluxe food) was a bit disappointing, I got the lobster tail and it was severely over cooked (like rubber). My husband got the lamb and that was over cooked and chewy for the price of the food it wasn't worth our money for what they charge for it. The entertainment was good though.Written December 2, 2022
- Ladiidree440 contributionsAMAZING TOUR!!!!!Hands down… the BEST excursion I’ve been on!!! Michael the tour guide was AMAZING! I would recommend you be pretty fit since you’re biking, hiking, and swimming for 6 hours. It’s at a decent pace and you get plenty of food and water, however, if you’re not used to being outdoors, then don’t do it. As for those of you who enjoy nature walks, this will not disappoint. Michael will explain the many animals you’ll see along the way and the history of the caves. I went by myself and quickly built a bond with the group. This is the perfect way to detach and enjoy nature in all of its beauty. 10/10. Highly recommend!Written September 29, 2022
- ryan B0 contributionsArr, Arrgh Capitan!!Believe it or not we done this adventure 21 years ago on our honeymoon and we have been back twice with the children, most recent being 28th of July and my god is it still so much fun!! We took our youngest who is 9yrs old and it was the best night of our 10 days in Mexico. Fantastic food, entertainment, service and great for children and adults alike! Would highly recommend!! Special mention to our waiter he was superb xxWritten August 2, 2022

- sarbuc20210 contributionsAmazing times in cancun!Hello hello, would you like a great experience on a boat? Good food, good music? Great stuff? Well book your trip with Jolly Roger and you will get all above! I really did enjoy the time on the boat, the crew of pirates is fun and they take care of you as best as possible. Wherever you go on the boat is someone to give you a good service (the girl at the 🚻, she really takes her job seriously). I forgot to mention, if you can (financially) book the premium or deluxe menu .Written September 21, 2021
- Globetrotter100790 contributionsVery interesting ruinsWhen I booked my reservation I asked if when we are in Playa Del Carmen can I visit the HardRock cafe there when we are in the downtown area for a hour? I was informed that it is walking distance. I called two other times to confirm that, and was not told that the HRC is not nearby. I boarded the tour bus , and was told that it is too faraway which was very disappointing to me. My concierge, and Viator tried to reach the local tour operator but, they did not answer the phone a day before my tour Tuesday at 9 am. Some passengers boarded the tour bus not wearing masks. Ulysses one of the tour guides led me on better paths as I have some ankle pai ,and helped provide other information. I do not know why they do not know the name of my hotel ,and still called it by its former name?Written September 12, 2021
- deondrap20160 contributionsVery RomanticI was very interested in the idea of a romantic cruise, we booked this through Amstar and I was not disappointed! I was actually pleasantly surprised, its more then I thought it was. Beautiful cruise, very romantic especially with the saxophone playing. It was like a dream! I loved it! The crew was so awesome and made us feel very comfortable! The only thing I would say is that there should be an age limit if there isnt one to go on this cruise. We did have what seemed like teenagers who were cousins on with their parents. It kind of took the romance out of dinner when they were laughing and well being cousins. That is not ruin it for us though, and other then that If you are looking for a romantic dinner cruise you will not regret booking this one!Written July 29, 2021
