The Laguna was beautiful, the cenotes weren’t what we were expecting and the tour guide was way too serious and not really friendly

We booked in February for a day trip out, all seemed fine. Though, it was unusual that upon receving confirmation with the meeting place and time, (which was selected by ourselves and agreed by the company) that days before the trip we would receive confirmation of time and location of collection. Why?!?! Why isn't it just as we planned! The next email we received a few days ago then asked us to email them for a time and location!!! Again, why!?! We did anyway, heard nothing back, and proceeded to go to the original place and time. We got up at 4.30am to make this meet, only for them to not show at all. A passer by allowed us to use his local phone to ring every single number the company left with absolutely no answer from any of the numbers whilst we waited over an hour with no response or sign of a driver on a very cold morning on the side of the road. We are very disappointed and angry how unprofessional they have been and it has affected our honeymoon plans. How does anybody run a business like this? We will hopefully get our money back, if they ever answer the phone, that is.... do yourself a favour and book with someone else. Update: one of their numbers just responded an hour later, 'your booking number is not with us' (after sending an image of the booking with booking number on it) could be a while dealing with this....

I liked the variety of stops. I loved the four choices, and lunch was great. In afternoon, we did two cenotes which were not scary. One has to be able to go up and down steep stairs,and water socks are recommended but not absolute.

We booked our tour to Isla Mujeres through Amsa in our hotel. sailing was really nice, the staff was funny, polite and very friendly. We had a short break for snorkeling, after we was served with the lunch on board. Drinks was offered all the time during the trip. Isla Mujeres didn't meet our expectations. It was over crowded and we didn't like it but experience with the "Cancun Adventures" was very pleasant 💖💖🥰🥰Good job guys.

I am writing about the Juana Coa company that offers ATV rides (I didn’t do this), zip-line adventure (10 runs of varying length and speed) and tours of a “tequilla” making factory with some fascinating equipment dating from centuries ago when the mashing was done by mules pulling a millstone around. Staff was friendly and knowledgable. Jonathan, our driver, tour guide through the agave distillation plant and also zip-line staff, was bright and friendly. I was a little nervous this being my first-zip line experience but I was convinced of the security of the equipment and the dedication of staff to our safety after the first few runs.

I loved it! I personally think this is probably the best tour if you are trying to knock things out in one day and get the best bang for your buck , we got a little breakfast , visited 4 locations, lunch was included the only thing you had to pay for we’re the drinks and the tour guide was so educated on his mayan culture taught us so much and honestly just do it! you won’t regret

This tour operator is terrible with communication about pickup. In all previous modes of contact (email, Tripadvisor, etc.), we were clearly instructed that the transportation would pick us up at the lobby of our resort. We were waiting outside the lobby of our resort 5 minutes before the pick up time where all other excursions pick up their guests. I was called by a coordinator to verify that we were outside waiting and I confirmed. When the transportation didn't show up on time, I called the coordinator again to verify where it was. I was instructed that the vehicle was at security, so I proceeded to go to security and ask if the two vans waiting there were for us. They were not, so I went back to the lobby which is 20 yards away, staying on the phone to ensure that we did not miss the transportation. During this time, the call went dead so I hung up and we continued to wait. When it didn't arrive after 5 minutes, I called again to see what the issue was. I was instructed by the coordinator that she had to call the transportation to verify. After all this happened, it ended up that the coordinator did not communicate that we were supposed to leave the lobby, go past security, and meet the transportation wherever it was waiting. After many calls back and forth and another 1.5 hours of waiting, the coordinator said the transportation left a while ago and could not come back to pick us up and that we needed to take a taxi to meet the transportation, cost out of our own pocket. I declined and sought a refund due to their miscommunication. Service about this refund was terrible as well. We were lied to many times as to when the coordinator's supervisor would come into the office to work the issue. At first it was 15 minutes; then it was at 9 AM; then it was 10 AM; then it was later. They never called us back and chose instead to send a message via Tripadvisor. Summary: 1) Very sketchy company with pickup. Out of the other THREE excursions we took in Riveria Maya, all of the companies came to the lobby to pick up, and all were external from the resort. There were simply no companies that required their customers to leave security to meet transportation 2) Communication is very bad and the coordinator was not well-versed in English to instruct us to do the right thing 3) We were lied to many times about the supervisor's wereabouts 4) The phone calls went dead many times and I had to call back at least 5 times. I would not recommend this company for any excursions. There are tons of options and it's best to choose a Tripadvisor excursion and company with more reviews than just one.

You still need to pay upfront. Transportation is not included in price even if you pay here for transportation. You wait 3 hours to get onboard . The boat drives off 300 miles away when you snorkel and you need to swim at your own risk. There is no open bar (you drink with what they have and drink is super water down) . No food included. No free time on the island . The workers tries to force you to book “private tour” to follow them in a golf cart for a extra cost. It’s not even the same boat on the pictures. We had to take a taxi to get back to our hotel . On the other hand , isla Mujeres is a lot of fun. I recommend taking a ferry boat (cost 20$ per person).

The tour was amazing . There’s no words to express the magnitude of the experience. Truly amazing and stunning. The tour guide was fantastic, kind and respectful as well as our driver.

My friends and I booked this tour, we had a great time, the food was delicious, the reefs very beautiful and the crew guys made us have the best time. I definitely hope to come back to the Caribbean soon.

It was my first time snorkeling in Isla Mujeres and it was an incredible experience with my friends, without a doubt the first reef was my favorite. The attention of the guides was excellent from start to finish and the buffet was delicious!

I have done some excursions to Isla Mujeres, but this is the best of all. The pick up service was on time and we took full advantage of the day. My friends and I love water activities and we really enjoyed the snorkeling time. During the sailing on the catamaran we had a great time, thanks to the excellent service of the captain and his crew. We highly recommend this excursion!

I was quite happy with this tour and Agustin, our tour guide, was doing a great job. In general, it was a very pleasant tour - comfy air-conditioned bus, an international group of tourists, plenty of valuable information. The first disappointment came after booking the tour. They informed me Coba will be closed this week and this spot of the tour will be replaced by another one. I genuinely thought: "Well, it happens, probably the site is closed for renovation, and I was unlucky to get it during the week I booked". But when we arrived in Tulum, I found that Coba is closed for a long time and is not going to be open any time soon, but this company keeps offering and selling the tour with Coba in. The other unpleasant thing was in the bus, already on the way, they tried to upsell the tour for about 12 USD for getting a few drinks more. And I really didn't like the choice of a cenote. From so many cenotes in the area, this one looked like the poorest one, with the worst facilities. If I compare it with Ik Kil cenote, nearby Chichen Itsa, this one was not worthy at all. But in general, good idea, with not-so-perfect performance.

My wife and I booked this excursion as part of our honeymoon, and were not disappointed. Once we left port, the crew (and our emcee, Javier) was all about keeping the party going and keeping our drinks full. The snorkeling portion felt a bit rushed- maybe because of the choppy water, or maybe because they had to keep track of 30 people moving through the water with other boats and tour groups around. The organizing of the boats was a bit chaotic, we didn't really see the need to spend an hour "shopping" on the island, and the music during lunch was crazy loud, but honestly the value you get with all the stops, lunch and open bar far outweighed any of our issues. Overall a fantastic tour and way to experience Isla Mujeres.

Absolutely disgusting and degrading experience. If you’re idea of this tour is snorkeling in any capacity or getting anything promised in the description (open bar, seeing the MUSA sub-aquatic museum or doing spinnaker as advertised), you will be horribly disappointed. The tour “guide” was named Batman and was squirting red shots of alcohol from a giant tube directly held next to his penis into young women’s mouths lying on their back on the boat deck. I fell asleep on the boat ride back because I was heat stroke and boat sick and this trip advisor’s recommended guide was threatening to make a spectacle of me by touring alcohol on me and drawing penises on me with a sharpie. Talk about low class, absolutely unprofessional and a degrading way to treat tourists / women as a whole. If my husband and wasn’t there to stand up for me and make sure that didn’t happen I don’t even know what to say. Trip advisor you should be grossly ashamed promoting this tour or paying this low class “guide”. I’m writing this review as a warning for other tourists / women and hope that this feedback will get back to Batman because he doesn’t deserve to have a job and should have consequences for his actions. There was 20 minutes of snorkeling or less - very crowded with 4 other boats next to ours so no room to swim or space at all. We only saw a few fish, mainly seaweed and one statue and can’t all the way from New York for a disgusting experience instead. Isla Mujeres was nothing but a tourist gift shop trap and the spinnaker they advertised never even happened. Drinks on board were colorful lightly rum spiked cocktails - not an open bar as described - and the experience was not delivered as promised. The rest of the trip was low class girls twerking and getting shots in their mouths held next to the tour operators dick and encouraged throughout the entire boat trip do this the whole time vs anything advertised. This is #metoo in the works and being promoted by TripAdvisor. I decided to cancel any further tours through TripAdvisor in Mexico after this experience and felt dirty after this experience. You should be grossly ashamed.
