So much fun packed into a few hours
This was an amazing trip. Our guide Alex, participated w/us which made it more fun. Zip lining was exciting & rappelling into the cenote was magical. The monkeys were AWESOME! This day was my favorite part of my Yucatan trip.

          EcoColors Tour was Amazing!
Riaz and Mario were fantastic. Riaz was so knowledgeable with the history and archeology of both ruins and was a fantastic guide. The ruins were remarkable and the Cenote was beautiful and refreshing. Highly recommend this team with EcoColors and the excursion!

Best tour company in Yucatan Peninsula for nature lovers!
Best tour company in Yucatan Peninsula for nature lovers! This was our second time with Ecocolors and our guide, Alex. Both times we went on a custom tour to see wildlife and areas that no other tour company is going to. This visit we explored the coast and jungle of Sian Ka'an.

          Fantastic Private Cenote Dive
Riaz took me to the Cenotes on a less than ideal day and gave me an awesome, private tour of the cenotes and the surrounding areas. He taught us about the formations of the cenote and the impact it has on the area. He made sure I felt safe and comfortable and was extremely informative the whole time. He is a fantastic tour guide who seemingly enjoys what he does. I would recommend to all friends and family.

          Whale Sharks and Dolphins
We had a great trip this week. Very well organised from booking, and pick up to drop off on the day. It's the end of the season so the whale sharks took a while to find, and it was worth it! As a bonus we swam with dolphins we saw on the way. We stopped at Isla Mujeres for lunch, freshly prepared by the team it was delicious. The whole team were really informative, friendly and made the trip a great day.

          Best whale shark tour
The whale sharks are incredible and everyone on our boat got to swim with them as well as dolphins! We spotted a manta ray while heading to Isla Mujeres. At the Island they made the most DELICOUS, to die for, fresh ceviche and guacamole. Alex and the rest of the crew made it comfortable and fun!

          Best Excursion in Cancun
The BEST excursion we took in Cancun. Pick up was on time and only a short drive to the marina. We had 10 people on our boat and the staff was attentive to both English and Spanish speakers. The boat ride to find the whale sharks was pleasant and not very long, albeit it can take longer some days since they are trying to find a swimming creature. The time in water to swim with the whale sharks was awesome (Swim hard and fast to keep up) and they were so close. People swam two at a time, so you were not crowded or left behind. It really was a marvel to see and such a personal experience. Lunch and light snorkeling was a great treat at the end of the swimming.

          An adventure
Nada was our guide and she was very communicative, speaking both english and Spanish. The sailor Lalo and captain Daniel were also very professional. On the tour, we saw several whale sharks, a giant manta ray and I even caught a glimpse of what I believe is a manatee. When it was my turn to swim with the whale shark, I had to swim very fast through a field of jellyfish (like slimy baseballs) to keep up with the shark. My second swim, the shark was swimming towards me and I got a really good look at it! Timing and luck is a big factor on these types of tours but the staff does everything they can to go you a good experience. By the way, the jellyfish do not sting because they are babies, I didn't know that during my first swim LOL. During the snorkeling, we explored a coral reef and we're lucky enough to see a large sting ray. This tour is for people who are adventurous and I had a great time.

Amazing experience/ guides, but operators could be better
Experience was amazing, you get 2 swims up very close with the whales and we were even super lucky enough to see mantas and some of our group swam up close with the mantas too. Our guide (Riaz) was super friendly and informative, and our crew (Lalu) and Chanu (captain) were also wonderful. Lalu gets in the water with you so you feel completely safe and he took all our underwater videos. The ONLY downside was the tour company's organisation of pickup. We booked via GetYourGuide and a few days beforehand the operators asked if we could move our tour forward a few days. We said that was fine but on the day they sent lots of conflicting information about our pickup point which resulted in the guide not being able to find us and we didn't get collected that day. It meant we got up at 4am for nothing. They apologised and reorganized our tour for a few days later, but again sent conflicting information on the GYG app versus WhatsApp which really confused us and made us worry we wouldn't get collected again. None of the above was Riaz, or the crews fault (these guys are amazing!) so hopefully the operators can figure out a way to make the collection information more clear in future.

          10/10 recommend
Raiz, chano, and Lalo were fantastic! We had a wonderful time riding the waves, swimming with Tiburones ballenas (whale sharks) & mantas! We were lucky with beautiful weather. Delicious fresh fruits and ceviche, tasty sandwiches, and morning tea and sweet bread. They provided water and colas as well, and listen to your guide!! I took Dramamine when he recommended and I felt great. If you've never been on a boat before, it's better to be safe than sorry and seasick!

Once in a life time. One and done.
This trip sounds more fun than it was. Omar was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about Whale Sharks and the ocean. Keep in mind, this is a small boat that fits only a hand full of people. It starts off in a remote part of Cancun. They offer you to rent a waterproof camera for $35, which we did. There’s no charging it, so don’t waste the battery! We spent the majority of our time searching in the middle of the ocean trying to find a whale shark. The water was pretty, but it was a little windy which made it really choppy. We had some foreigners that were sick the entire time. It would have made the trip SO MUCH better if there was music on the boat. Also, there's no alcohol, which was kind of a nice break. Instead, it was silent and we listened to people getting sick over the bow the entire trip. When they finally found a whale shark, we raced to where the other boats were. This was kind of stressful going that fast over the waves, but we made it. It was super chaotic and scary when we got there. There’s no time for anything. They told us that they would take the pictures for us with the camera we rented while we swam. We jumped in and swam with the one shark, which was amazing. There were lots of boats circling us. It was really scary thinking they were going to hit us. Ours almost ran over my wife and the tour guide, thankfully everyone yelled at the captain to stop. When it was lunch time, we got sticky bread sandwiches that were made at someone’s home and an 8oz coke. We opted for the vegetarian option, which was sliced sticky bread, mayo, lettuce and tomato. After sitting in the heat, it wasn’t edible. In the end, it was a memorable trip. Unfortunately, the camera never recorded, so the $35 was a waste and we never got pictures (and we didn’t know that until we got back home and put the card in a computer). I wish they had music to help pass the time. It made it very long. It was a one and done trip. I recommend it, but be prepared. It was a long day in the middle of the ocean with nothing to focus on. Check the camera before you get back. Ours was left on by the crew and couldn’t check the pictures. Also, be prepared when you get to the sharks. Its super scary with the boats driving around you so fast, while you are trying to take your turn with the sharks.

Swimming with the Ocean's Majesty; Whale Shark experience
The Whale Shark swim experience was a remarkable and rare opportunity to truly feel a connection to one of the biggest creatures in the ocean. The boat ride proved to be a bit much for my Colorado Land lovers. But I personally did fine despite my disability. The ladder was a little hard for me but the amazing crew; Captain Jack, Chano, and Euri managed to help get me back in the boat with safe assistance. I would recommend this excursion as at least a once in a lifetime experience.

          What an amazing experience!
I have wanted to swim with whale sharks for quite some time but in recent trips to Mexico, I haven't because it is an expensive trip if you don't get to see them. However, this trip isn't just a whale shark experience. You also get to swim in the crystal clear waters of Isla Muejeres and have lunch. Its beautiful there. The ceviche was delicious and they also catered for two vegetarians on board. We got to see whale sharks and we got to swim with them twice! Just to manage your expectations, you only get a short time swimming with them to make sure the whale sharks are overwhelmed with lots of people...but it was AMAZING! When the whale sharks disappeared for a while, the crew tried their best to find them again so everyone got their second swim. Everything was well organised and Santiago (the guide) had lots of knowledge about whale sharks. My partner was adamant he wasn't going in the water but he felt well informed and safe, so even he swam with me! There was also an 8 year old boy who was scared but they reassured him and he swam too! I felt the guides did everything they could to make sure the whale sharks were protected and cared for during the experience. It is an hours boat ride from the port and it's quite jumpy so I would recommend taking sea sickness tablets. Even if you don't normally get travel sick. I highly recommend this trip!

          Majestic Experience
This excursion has to be my favorite excursion out of years of travel. My tour crew was Euri, Captain Julio, and Chano. They were incredible and made this memory to last a life time. The boat ride turned out to be more than a couple of my family members. My granddaughter and her fiancée They ended up not getting out of the boat. But my husband and I did and it was pure majesty

I had such an incredible time experiencing the Mayan culture in the small village of Nuevo Durango. A local family taught me and my group how to make authentic tamales, and as those cooked, we visited their farm to learn about their organic farming practices. Everyone within the community was very welcoming and sweet (and the food was delicious!) Many, many thanks to our tour guide, Marcela, who served as our translator, educator, and hilarious companion for a few excursions we went on throughout the week. I can't recommend her enough -- SHE IS AMAZING and very knowledgeable.
