American Transfers left us stranded departing Playa Del Carmen! After fumbling badly and not knowing what excuse to come up with.. the truth came out, they didn’t plan their day to come get us even though they verified they would pick us up at our resort at 8AM TWICE!! They also multiple times couldn’t figure out how to use the reservation system and Get Your Guide. If you decide to take a chance and book with these guys, absolutely do not do it through Get Your Guide because they won’t know how to retrieve your reservation… they would tell you over and over again. They can’t find your reservation because apparently they haven’t been trained to properly. Use the Get Your Guide system.

We were told to wait near the Margaritaville Restaurant at the Cancun Airport for our arrival pick up transfer. Instructions were that someone would meet us wearing a blue shirt. After looking around for our transfer representative and waiting 10 min, we couldn't find anyone. We called, said we were there, were asked what we were wearing and that someone was looking for us. So we wait, look around and still no one. Call again. Was told he was parked in slot 56. We go to the slot. Driver was there, in the van, eating lunch. Ok fine. He wasn't wearing a blue shirt, but a black shirt. Off to our resort we go. I was able to overlook this small hicup until our departure transfers were a no-show. 48 hours prior to our departure we emailed American Transfers asking what time was pick up. No response. Next day, 24 hours prior, we have our hotel concierge call for us to reconfirm. Was told reservation was confirmed for 9:30am. Day of departure, 9:30am came and went. We called around 9:40am and was told no reservation and no one was coming. We got a taxi for $89 to the airport. Our flight left at 12:40pm, to which American transfers was fully aware of and noted on our transfer reservation. We received a voicemail at 10:45am, that someone was at our resort waiting to pick us up. Knowing our flight was at 12:40pm, why would you do a pick up for 10:45am?? When we returned home we called and complained. We want to speak to a manager and would like 50% of the $125 we paid for round trip transfers. A manager has not called us back. Also, after telling a representative at American Transfer, I would be giving a poor review. The response was, "I don't care. This is not my company. " Wow, just wow! Terrible! Highly disappointed! I don't recommend.

American transfers is fraud, I bought a round trip service and they never picked me up at the airport or hotel. I had prepaid for this service. They are unreachable, they wouldn't answer their phone and their phone mail box was full, they would not return the What's up chats. They basically stole my money!!! PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM.

Booked a 5 day getaway last minute. Reached out to Speedy Shuttle on Tuesday night after business closed. Was online with their chat assistant and they sent me link to confirm roundtrip transportation from airport to resort for the following morning. The young man was prompt and as we exited baggage claim, he was there with a sign with our name on it. No hassle, he took us directly to our air conditioned vehicle and he was also prompt in picking us up to take us back to airport at the conclusion of our trip. Great Service !

We reserved our transfer with Speedy Shuttle Cancun before arriving in Cancun. Andres/Julio were wonderful. I knew what to expect because they sent plenty of notifications. Julio was waiting for our group when we made it out of the Cancun Airport. We did not wait at all!!!

We were very pleased with our round trip transfer from Cancun airport to our resort and back again. They were incredibly responsive via email. There was only one small hiccup in that we had been told that when we left the airport to look for someone wearing an American Transfers shirt, but our greeter was wearing something with a different logo. But he did have a decent sized sign with my name, so after a few minutes of searching, we found him. After that, everything went perfectly. It really wasn't all their fault either, because the pickup area at Cancun is a bit of a zoo anyway. The greeter and drivers were friendly and courteous, quick to open doors and help with luggage. For the return trip, they pulled up to our resort lobby promptly at the time they said they would be there. It made our travel days smooth and easy! Nothing negative to say at all!

I highly recommend this company; they were courteous, prompt, and attentive. All calls and emails are answered. I had to change pick up location for my return to the airport and I was easily accommodated. Thank you Andrew and your excellent team!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about american transfers. We have used them for every trip we have here in Cancun and recommend / book them for our families as well. Andre, the one who I communicate with is so accommodating. The drivers are nothing but puntual, kind, and helpful. I know arriving to the Cancun airport can be super hectic and crazy/ never knowing who to trust but this company is trust worthy. I recommend it to anyone. 10/10 always the best experience.

We received excellent instructions with directions from Cancun Terminal 3 to the pickup area where we found our driver waiting with a sign. He was back at the hotel at the precise time agreed to and took us back to the airport at the end of our trip. Great communications, efficient, and easy. We were very, very pleased and highly recommend American Transfer/Speedy Shuttle.

I accidentally put the wrong hotel info when I booked the transfer (Cancun instead of Playa del Carmen) and they took me to the correct hotel even though it was much farther away with no hassle. Very appreciative!!
