About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- nandao2440 contributionsBE AWARE - THIS IS A FULLY INTENDED WAISTING OF YOUR TIME TOURI had yesterday this tour, and it doesn't mean only this company is selling this tour, it's been reselling from many other too. If you want to learn from my bad experience, if you are traveling from Cancun , you should make 100% sure, they don't drive you around to pickup some guests in a cities that aren't even close on the way to the sights. So what exactly is happened? First of all we were told to be in front of the hotel at 6:25, but have entered a bud at 7:00. it's not so bad, but we need this 30 mins for the calculation. The bus drew us to pickup some more guests in Cancun, what is ok, and than took a road to Playa del Carmen and Riviera Maya, instead using the direct highway to the sights. We lost there more 90 mis. They made a 52 seater bus full, even it's clearly written "This tour/activity will have a maximum of 35 travelers" what was my main reason to choose this company, Less travers means less pickups and drop-offs and less possibility someone gets late. We stopped at all sight that were in the itinerary, but in most cases little bit shorter than other groups did, most probably because we lost so much time on the way. The sights are amazing and I highly recommend to visit them. Only at the stop in Valladolid, which has the only one purpose to bring you in a very overpriced shop to gain some commissions, there we got 30 mins of time and actually were picked up after 40 mins, as I later have get known that other groups do a 20 min stop. There is really nothing to do even for 20 mins. On the way back, of course, we went again all the cities for drop-offs that aren't on the way, but this time we stuck in a huge traffic, because we weren't using the highway to Cancun. It too us extra 150 mins. It means we had more than 4.5 hours drive without a stop. Even we took a lot of water with us and got some on the way, the last 4.5h there was no way to get any. Maybe it's sounds I'm picky. Maybe, but consider that this tour lasted for 16.5 hours, even the times to visit the main sights were shorten in comparison with other operators. The 4 hours extra driving and half hour unnecessary waiting to get started makes this tour a torture. Even I wasn't expecting that the operator could help me, I've contacted them and they told me this isn't a private tour, it's a shared tour. Does it mean they would have the right to bring you to any city in Mexico if they get guests? After reading this review they will reply "we apologise ......", there is no need to apologise, because as I've mentioned in the title THIS IS A FULLY INTENDED WAISTING OF YOUR TIME. This is not what have happened yesterday, they do it each day, over and over again.Written March 15, 2025
- AMBER G0 contributionsNo response. No refund. We reached out three times to see about cancelling with a refund due to my husband being ill and they never responded. So we are out $300 and still have not received a response.Written March 3, 2025
- Alexandra P0 contributionsThis was a beautiful tour and highly recommendedI've been on this tour in the past years ago and I have to say this one is much much better . I have to start by saying that they were very professional. The day was obviously long but it's no fault of their own. Lots of driving . The guide was proficient in English and very knowledgeable . I chose this tour because almost all expenses were included meaning there was no hidden cost like other tours offer . There was extra money if you wanted to pay for a locker at the cenotes which was up to you and if you want to swim you must rent a life jacket for four US dollars, This is mandatory. At the lunch place there was no drinks included because we bought the basic package which was worth it , The water cost a few dollars. I must advise that buying artisans at the lunch place cost about two to three times what it does at chichen itza so if you want to buy some goods, wait until you get to the ruins And once you are there you can bargain down about 1/3 the price. Our driver was also our tour guide at the ruins and he gave us some amazing history, thank you. At the end of the tour he gently asked for tips and it wasn't like years ago where they were demanding it and made it extremely uncomfortable . It is definitely a must-see and I would suggest this tour if you're interested in the beautiful nature of the cenotes or the history of the Mayan ruins. I MUST SAY THE BEST PART: I left my phone on the first small bus that drove us to the larger bus . Not only did the guide make sure that the other driver located the phone that they also dropped it off to the hotel. No questions asked and with no fee. It was extremely honest of them. What was extremely disheartening and dishonest was that the hotel said they did not receive it and tried to blame the tour company. After using the find my device location on my phone and showing the reception staff that it was literally in the reception area magically it showed up. This taught me how honest this tour operator is and when I come back I will book with them. It also taught me to verify names of who found things and who it was delivered to and sadly not to trust the hotel staff. So if you're traveling to Mexico, don't go to Grand Oasis.Written March 1, 2025
- H4837GVjuliel0 contributionsMassageWhen I visit this resort I usually go to the Uspa. However this time I went to the Spa on site at the Barcelo Adults Only. What a great experience.! I had an 80 minute hot stone massage by Ms. MAKY! It was fantastic! My shoulder had been in pain for days and she worked out the kinks and I feel awesome! Thank you Maky!Written February 26, 2025

- Jessica H0 contributionsPretty goodReef snorkeling was good, compared to my experiences in Maui & Puerto Rico. Saw my first stingray eel and nurse shark. Others on the same tour saw a fast turtle, apparently. Service was good. After snorkeling, you were offered a tequila demo which I opted out since I don’t drink alcohol. Instead, I spent that 25-30 mins on the beach instead. Lunch was then served - 3 tacos. I had fish while my husband had veggie. There was a 3rd choice which I don’t remember. It was slightly windy but calm compared to the days before when marina closed in both Cozumel and Playa. This was my contingency plan as my original Cozumel snorkeling was cancelled due to 45km/hr winds. Overall, pretty happy. Had free time after lunch to do as u pleased in the area - shopping or more beach time. I just have 1 tip/suggestion - we were offered to buy the photo package for $69 usd which we opted out of. The pix were not great and pretty expensive compared to the pix/videos that I paid for at my previous snorkeling experiences.Written February 4, 2025
- W8595GXangelf0 contributionsCould have been better. We enjoyed the tour, however, being harassed by so many vendors trying to sell their merchandise took away so much of the experience. The bus ride was comfortable and the guide was awesome. We just would've had a better time if we could focus more on what and why we were there and not having to avoid the very aggressive sellers.Written January 27, 2025

- allio9340 contributionsGoodMy husband and I went on this excursion for our honeymoon. We were initially told it was another $20 each for “dock fees” and when we arrived, they charged us $40 a person so we paid another $80 in total which we were not very happy about. We got to snorkel for 15 mins but did not see anything (which we understand is out of your control) The hosts and workers on the boat were fantastic and fun. Very friendly. The catamaran ride itself was very fun. The beach at the second stop on the south end of the island was not at all what we were expecting from what we saw in pictures. The water was very dirty. The food was good but the drinks on the island were not. I asked for a margarita and was given tequila and lemonade.Written September 30, 2024
- I6389WFsophiaf0 contributionsVisiting one of the New 7 Wonders of the WorldThis was my first visit to Mexico, first time joining a tour group and this one specifically went everywhere I wanted to go and had hotel pick up included! I would not have done this visit any other way. They message prior to your visit to ensure you have no unanswered questions or worries and then the amazing service carries on while on the tour. Eloy was our tour guide alongside Adrian who checked us in throughout the day and Jesus our driver who drove us all day. Eloy was amazing and had a wealth of knowledge about Mayan culture and all the sites we visited! He was very personable and made sure the whole tour group was happy and stayed safe (even protecting us from too much sun lol). The buffet was great with dancers and performers. The views in the cenotes were breathtaking and an incredible experience. Thank you for a great last day of our holiday!Written September 13, 2024
- Relax128168904820 contributionsMemories for lifeThis trip has created life long memories. Our guide at Chichén Itzá, Santiago was wonderful, very knowledgeable and a real character who was fascinating to listen to. He answered all our questions. Chichén Itzá was incredible. We then visited our first cenote Il Kil was beautiful and superbly run. Our second cenote was not quite as pretty but still stunning with opportunities to jump in from height. The buffet at this cenote was perfect with entertainment thrown in. We would highly recommend this trip. It was a long drive from our hotel (Grand Riviera Princess) but the guide on our very comfortable coach, Christian, was great throughout. He was fun and informative. Book this trip for life long memories!Written August 23, 2024

Hi I’m currently staying in Cancun and will move to Tulum. Would to organize this trip the day of the move. Could you let me know what the schedule of the tour would be and if you can pick me up from Cancun (Centro - Mex Hotele) and drop me off in Tulum. Also, I have a large bag i would need to take with me. Thank you
