        Car rental
Great experience with Venessa. We were supposed to rent a car from Tulum airport, but they tricked us and said no car available. So we walked around looking for a ride to Playa del Carmen. Met Vanessa, and she gave us a ride to our hotel. She also rented one of her cars for 5 days, that was a great help. We couldn't manage without a car, since all rentals were out of car. She was very affordable and also delivered the car to my hotel and picked the car back from the hotel. This is called customer service. Next time when I am Tulum, I am going directly to her for car and other tours,

        Definitely recommend Katun Chi
We enjoyed experiencing the cenotes with a great guide at Katun Chi. We swam and used the kayaks in the cenotes. The lunch included with our tour was really fresh and delicious. Our family enjoyed the whole experience.

Disorganized and confusing: outsourced our tour to “Easy Tours” (2.7 stars on Google)
I saw Tourismo Channel recommended on a travel blog, so we decided to book the Tulum, Coba ruins, and cenote tour. The reviews for Tourismo Channel were great, so I had no qualms about booking with them. Turns out Tourismo Channel outsourced our tour to a company called “Easy Tours” which only has 2.7 stars on Google. I would never book a tour with a company with 2.7 stars! We felt duped. Details: We stayed in Puerto Morelos and were picked up at 7 am. We were told we needed to pay an extra $20 transportation fee. Fine. We drive 40 min from Puerto Morelos to Playa del Carmen, where we are unloaded at the Easy Tours office and told to wait for a different van/driver. We wait for 10-15 minutes, and then a new van pulls up and we are told in broken English to board. This new van is almost full. We are given absolutely no instruction, welcome, explanation, etc. about what is going on. Occasionally there is some discussion in Spanish which my 1 year of Duolingo did not prepare me for (lol). We then drive for 1.5 hrs (including a stop at another hotel to pick up 6 more people, now every seat in the van is full, very uncomfortable) to Tulum, but not before we stop AGAIN at a different Easy Tours office on the side of the highway so that people can get out and (I think? ) pay their tour fee. Again, we are not given any explanation about what is going on. We’re thirsty, we need to go to the bathroom, it’s been 2.5 hrs and we haven’t even made it to Tulum yet. When we do get to Tulum, we pull into a 7/11 parking lot and our tour guide pops into the van and starts talking in Spanish, very sternly, about what time each group needs to be back at the van. Again, no friendly welcome, no explanation. The Tulum tour was a mix of Spanish/broken English, and we had very little time to explore before we had to get back in the van and start the extremely bumpy drive to Coba. Along the way we stopped to let one group off at a cenote (no explanation to the rest of us about if we should stay in the van or not) and then stopped again at a souvenir shop for lunch (where we were heavily pressured to shop/purchase Mayan items). At this point it’s been 5.5 hrs since the day started and we spent 4.5 of it driving. By the time we get to Coba it’s 1 pm, we get another broken English explanation of the ruins, and then 30 minutes to explore on our own—just enough time to walk down to the large pyramid and find that it is not open to climb to the top, not that we would have had time anyway! Our van, guide, and very unfriendly driver are inexplicably late to pick us up, and finally take us to the Choo-Ha cenote. This was the only redeeming part of the day: very cool experience. We have 30 minutes to swim, and then it’s back in the van for the bumpy, hours-long journey back to Playa del Carmen, followed by a 30 minute wait at the Easy Tours office for another van to take us 40 min back to our hotel. By the end of the day we were exhausted, hadn’t learned much about ancient Mayan culture, and never wanted to get in a van again.

        Too many variables!
My first mistake was not taking motion sickness medicine prior to leaving the dock. The boat ride is a very rough (approx 45 min ride) and ended with 3 out of the 4 in our group becoming seasick. There were 2-3 whale sharks that our boat and two other boats circled to keep it in the area. I was feeling horrible when I went into the water and continued dry heaving as the water was very very wavy. The guide left my son behind so when I went back to help him, he took that as me returning to the boat. I never made it close to a whale Shark, but did see one from the boat. My advice: save your money towards something a bit more predictable. There were too many variables in this excursion to make it something worth dedicating a valuable vacation day towards. The afternoon at a beach made it difficult to enjoy after being seasick, but the team did put together some ceviche and guacamole as well as drinks. Word of warning: apply sunscreen!!

        Worth it!!
This was the most incredible authentic excursion!!!! This whole company is amazing. Angel, nico, and Juan were our drivers and guides and helped us have a wonderful experience. Seeing ancient ruins and hearing the history and swimming through cenotes was on my bucket list for the area and couldn’t be happier with our experience! Thank you jambo ti

        recomended experience
I highly recommend this company. If you find yourself in Playa del Carmen, just go inside of their offices, tell them about your needs and your taste about excursions and they will give you the best experience

        100% Recommended!
We LOVED this adventure! Chris and Oliver were our guides and they were wonderful to accommodate our family needs. We had a large family group including kids between 1-11 yrs old. Tumal was beautiful and the guides were knowledgeable. My kids didn’t care much about the ruins but they loved watching the animals. Lunch was fantastic. The snorkeling was amazing. Some of the adults stayed on the beautiful beach with the smallest kids while the rest of the group took a boat to the reef and snorkeled back. We saw sea turtles, stingrays, and fish. They were very patient and helped our kids who were nervous and tired. I absolutely recommend this tour and especially Chris and Oliver.

        Exceptional Service!!!
A tour with Turismo Channel is a must when visiting Mexico! I was very skeptical on booking a private tour as it was my first time in Mexico however I can guarantee that they provide safe, reliable and friendly service. The process to book a private city tour of Tulum was simple, our tour guide arrived at our hotel right on time with a very clean and comfortable mini bus stocked cold beverages. Our first stop was by the famous letter of “Tulum” , and then we explored the hotel zone. Our tour guide even took us to enjoy some local tacos and to buy souvenirs in Playa Del Carmen. A major highlight of this tour would be the most beautiful photos and videos our tour guide took of us in Tulum!!! I will definitely recommend Turismo Channel to anyone visiting and will definitely be back in Cancún for another tour! 😊 Thank you Turismo Channel!

        Not to be trusted
I'm completely disappointed. I'm convinced that this company is not a legal entity. They are extremely shady in their operation.

Long day. Well organized but the reserve itself was not that impressive. Did not see any wildlife save a little island with frigate birds nesting...

Transfer on time. Excellent service ! Also we did more tours. They take us from the airport to Playa del Carmen to pick up the car for rent. And they take us back to the airport on our departure day. We arrive in time and Jesus (driver) was so cool and nice.

Pyramid and Cenote Private Tour for 5
Chris was our guide for the day and he was the best guide. He arrived early for our day. He had great conversation on the drive out. He was also compassionate with our special needs son. We got to the pyramids and cenote early and beat the crowds, and heat. Chris was our personnel photographer and very knowledgeable and passionate guide. We all enjoyed enjoyed a delicious lunch. We can't wait to come back for another trip with Chris on our next visit! A+++ Highly recommend!

        Memorable Trip
We are a family of four visiting Playa del Carmen during March Break from Canada. We decided to take a private tour to explore Tulum ruins and Cenote Minotauro. Our local guide, Chris was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to our family needs. We fully enjoyed a very rare experience of exploring the cave with a trusted guide, swimming in the clear cave water, and learning the ancient wisdom of Maya civilization. Chris was very patient, kind and welcoming to make our trip memorable. We highly recommend this tour to a family with kids! Bonus points: He is an excellent photographer:)

These guys are absolutely incredible and well knowledgable! They helped us create a large and complex itinerary to fit all of our needs. Included transportation, kept us informed of anything we might need on tours, and hooked it up with great discounts and guides. Couldn't have asked for more. 10/10 will come again. Christian, Jesus, and Gerardo were the absolute best!
