Decent excursion. The zip line was fun. ATV was ok. It was slow since you are herded like a caravan. And since they take every opportunity to upswell you at every turn it are up time from the activity. By the time we got to the cenotes we had under 30 minutes to swim and we’re rushed. When you arrive they sell you goggles and bandanas for the ATV ride which you DO NOT need since you’re not driving over dusty or dandy terrain. The. They make you wait and watch a show while they sell you food and alcohol while you wait. They put in a Mayan show who ask for tips. Then there is a lecture on tequilas where they try to sell you bottles. I feel that’s what shaved time off the cenote portion. They also ask you for a $10 deposit for your locker which they will ask you to donate at the end. So definitely bring cash. Also they say there is no Wi-Fi at the jungle but when it was time to pay for the photos via apple pay or PayPal all of a sudden there was Wi-Fi. I found that funny. Overall a fun experience and George was a great tour guide.

Elliott and crew were fantastic! I had a great time, highly recommended! Excursion started out with the ATV portion, which lasted about an hour. We then did the tequila tasting (~30 mins). We then spent about 45 minutes at Cenote Verde Lucero, which had crystal clear turquoise water and was very refreshing. Lastly, we took transportation back to camp where we performed the zipline obstacle course, which lasted a little over an hour.

Lockers were provided for a security deposit, which was returned at the end of the tour. We then gathered in a sitting area to enjoy cochinita pibil tacos and a short traditional Mayan dance routine. I purchased the photo package which came with 72 photos of my time spent during the excursion. Well worth it!

There were maybe 12 people in our group, it didn't seem overbooked, and we got to experience all items on the itinerary without any issue within the allotted 4 hours. Round trip transportation was provided during the tour, and to/from my resort.

Everything was sanitized and cleaned well, no issues in this regard. Would return again! Thanks again Elliott and crew!

Best excursions EVER. So glad I booked this package for all 8 of us. We booked the Rute de Cenotes for $60/adult and $55/kid.
It lasted about 4-5 hours.
We stayed at Ventus El Cid in Puerto Morelos, the driver picked us up and within 25 minutes, we arrived. From the moment we arrived, the tour guide (Eric) greeted us, explained everything to us very clearly, and soon enough we were doing the zip lines. First zip lines, then ATV, lastly the Cenote. The zip lines was scary in the beginning, but with the safety harness and reassurances from Eric, it was a breeze. It was actually very fun after the initial scare. The ATV was fun had the machine not died on us, but they switched us to another ATV with more power. THE highlight is the CENOTE. You had the option to do the zip line 15 feet jump / simply jump 15' without the zip, or you can do the 20' jump (without zip lines). This is the most amazing excursion ever for me. Water was cold but refreshing and we were given plenty of time to absorb everything. Pictures were on the expensive side, they wanted $129 but we were able to talk it down to $75 USD. The pictures were so worth it. Hold many memories for my sons to remember it by. Eric was awesome and the extra tequila tasting was surely appreciated. To me, this was the highlight of my trip besides the visit to Chichen Itza. Thank you Eric!

This place is all about rushing you through every "experience" you have paid for. While they are rushing you through everything they are also trying to sell you something at the same time. They will also tell you that it is unsafe to take your cameras or cell phones with you to every experience but the cenote. They do this so the only way you can get any photos is if you buy them.

From the moment we got there to check in and they tried upselling us to the package that included a "private cenote" for 1.5 hours and unlimited tacos. After that they took us into a dining area to wait on our entire ATV group and they were trying to get us to buy food and/or alcoholic beverages before we even went on the ATV tour. The ATV "tour" was maybe 15-20 minutes long and they took us through a loop essentially and it seemed like we were stopping every 2-3 minutes for someone in the group to catch up or for the photographer to reset in a new position. The tequila tasting was semi informational, but then they try to sell you on their tequilas that can only be bought there and nowhere else. Oh and its "100 Blue Agave" tequila and not "fake" tequila like Jose Cuervo or Don Julio and others they teach you that are fake. The cenote was the only experience you could take your own phone to and actually get to relax a little and not feel as rushed, but you still don't get a lot of time there. Then the last experience was the zip lining which was probably the most rushed activity. They hook you up so quick and get you out of there that as you are getting to the next platform the person before you is barely getting out of the way.

At the end of all of the activities they took us back to the lockers where our things were locked up so we could retrieve those things. At this time they asked us to leave a good review for them on Trip Advisor. I jokingly told my wife, "I will leave a good review for a fee!", since all they tried doing is selling stuff to us all day. Then George or Jorge went on to ask us for tips and said, "In Mexico we only make $6 per day, and we can't survive without your tips!"

Then comes the "free" lunch of two tacos which were edible, but not worth upgrading to the plan with the private cenote and unlimited tacos. While you are eating they try to come over and show you all of the pictures from the day and get you to buy them. I do know that for 2 pax the photos were $69, but we did not buy them. Another group of 6 were told $200 for their photos, but they said they talked them down to $100.

I have been on many tours in different parts of the world, and I have never been disappointed in a tour until this one. I think more people should be warned about their true intentions throughout their "experiences". Some people might be satisfied with this as they have never experienced anything like this, but don't let this place take advantage of you!

First off, the post said limit to 10 people…which gave me the impression at most we’d be picking up 10 people. However, we stopped at 2-3 other hotels and picked up over 10, I think 12-13 people total. The tour felt rushed. You can’t take your phone. I read a review where the tour guide folks said it’s because they don’t want your phone to fall out or get lost. I said I would be ok if that happens but they still said no. Definitely killed the vibe. It gave me more reasons to believe they don’t allow phones because they want to charge you $100+ for pictures they take. Only part of the tour that actually seemed legit was the tequila tasting. Everything was rushed. I wouldn’t recommend this tour.

Hello, thanks for your comment, we'll work on our logistics times so that the tours do not feel rushed, regarding the use of cell phones they are not allowed since we have had many accidents, if you want to take photos we recommend you bring a gopro that you can place with a harness to your helmet (it is very important to have your hands free on your tour) we hope to see you again and see how we have improved our service.

I am disappointed that they lured us there on one price then when it’s time to sign up they made you pay an extra $20 to certify your reservation. This was not mentioned when i signed up for the tour. It felt like a scam. Like the people who were doing check in were just trying to get an extra 20 out of each participant. The activities were fun but some of the guides were a little rude to those of us who had never used ATVs before. They were visibly giving attitude. I would say that if you’re comparing this place to another place pick the other place because the pricing is the same. They lure people in by lowering their price but when you get there they increase your price.

My fiancé and I loved this experience, the staff was super friendly, comical, and accommodating to anything we needed. Zip lines were first and escalated in height and speed! Atvs were my personal favorite, but we warned you will get dirty and sore from this. Do not ride your own if you are not experienced because you will hold up the group, crash, stall, or simply not enjoy it. The cenote was amazing to end our tour, super refreshing, we had a small group so it was not packed or stressful. Our host “G” was helpful, funny, and always had a huge smile on his face. A new photographer “Marco” took about 70 photos of us and they actually turned out really well to my surprise. Oh and don’t forget the tequila tasting! This was fun but they definitely hike up the prices, encouraging you to buy bottles after the tasting. BRING CASH! You will be charged more using a card. Overall loved this! Thank you!

We had Mary and Marlon as our excursion leaders and Mario as our photographer. They were AMAZING! They made the trip very memorable! The excursion was amazing. I would highly recommend paying the extra $35 to do the VIP tour which includes all you can eat tacos, a tequila tasting, and a private cenote. There was only 10 of us at the cenote which made for a very enjoyable experience. One thing I didn't know before going into the excursion is that you can't bring your phone ziplining or ATV'ing. I brought a selfie stick to take videos but could not. They do take photos for you. The photos we saw from the initial posting for the excursion was LOTS of mud, but when we went, there was no mud. So ask about the conditions before you purchase any of the items they try and sell you.

My girlfriend wanted to do a fun excursion on our Mexico trip, so I found Extreme Adventures online and thought that the price seemed pretty good. We were not disappointed. All parts of the excursion were fun, and the staff was awesome! Especially Daniela and Andres. They kept us relaxed while also having fun and enjoying every aspect. Being picked up and dropped off at our hotel, via shuttle was super convenient. The Cenote was awesome, the ziplining was super fun, and the ATV’s were exhilirating! To top it all off, there’s a tequila tasting at the end that isn’t even mentioned when you book the package. It was the perfect way to end the day. We definitely enjoyed it with our food package that was included. There is also a photographer who accompanied us on every leg of the day. She took awesome pictures of us, and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to bring home the great memories she had captured. I highly recommend Extreme Adventures if you’re ever in the Playa del Carmen or Cancun area.

This place was the absolute worst first they had the wrong departure time which caused them to to leave us we had to take a taxi for almost 100 dollars . I wish we really had stayed in the hotel because I regret going to this terrible place my family was stuck for hours with extreme heat and jungle bugs that constantly attacks you I understand that is not in there control but for the price we could at least got bug spray. The activates we did could of honestly took 3 hour we couldn’t bring our phones to take pictures just so they can make us pay for pictures from them. The atvs where trash not maintained at all I got a scaring burn from it we literally just went in a circle 3 times a absolute waste of time nothing was at all extreme then at the end we had to wait a hour for transportation back just the absolute worst I would never recommend anyone to go to them! Plus the food is disgusting you have nothing else to eat for hours no wonder I found a mountain of poop in the bathroom just disgusting
