WATERFALLS OF BLUE WATER, CASCADA DE MISOL-HÁ - PALENQUE ARCHAEOLOGICAL AREA - DEPARTING FROM SAN CRISTÓBAL DE LAS CASAS CHIAPAS Departure at 4:00 am at the hotel reception, the first stop in the city of Ocosingo, at the restaurant for breakfast (not included). Then we will go to the Agua Azul waterfalls, a wonderful natural resource that has turquoise blue waterfalls that reaches 20 meters, with a 2-hour tour. We continue with the excursion to the Misol-Ha Waterfall, impressive waterfall that reaches 25 mtrs high, an ideal place to cool off by having 1 hour to visit this beautiful place. Then we will continue with the tour visiting the Z.A. from Palenque, where we will know the archaeological remains of the Mayan culture, made up of its exuberant natural wealth, with a 2-hour tour. Then we return to the City of San Cristóbal de las Casas around 10:30 pm. *** Does not include guides, it is optional.

It was wonderful tours, friendly atmosphere and good service!
We are a tour group of nine persons from Russia and we booked a three trips with "Apasionado X Chiapas": day trip "Waterfalls El Chiflon and lagos Montebello", day trip "Canyon Sumidero" and day trip "Yaxchilan-Bonampack". And every trip was wonderful! Nobody was disapointed. It was great organization and very good quolity of service. Special thanks to our agent Felipe Mendez Espinoza. He was answering our every question and tried to fulfill our wishes as soon as it possible. Every detail of our tours was well thought out. We didn't have any problem. The pick up and transport was very good. We were provided with an comfortable minivan. Not a single delay! Thanks to our driver Juan! The nature of Chiapas is magnificent, amazing, wonderful! It's brilliant! We have unforgettable impressions! The waterfalls El Chiflon are impressive and Canyon Sumidero is breathtaking! We were swiming, we had an experience on Zip Line, we had a boat trips and canoes, we visited intresting ancient arqueologic areas! Everything was great! Everyone of us was happy and full of feelings. We made many cool shots!)) Next time we will book our trips in Chiapas only with "Apasionado X Chiapas"! Our thanks to all who organised our trips!!!

Underrated site is still worth seeing
Toniná might not be as impressive as Palenque overall, but has a few things going for it. It’s much easier to reach from San Cristóbal de las Casas, which itself is a gorgeous amazing city. There are very few other tourists. The main pyramid is taller than the Sun Pyramid at Teotihuacan. It has a small but nice museum, which apparently is run by the big Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City. And it’s in a gorgeous setting on the side of a mountain, looking out over a beautiful green valley. It’s rather romantic, really. There are fewer mosquitoes in Toniná than Palenque as well! Lol.
