- 927julie0 contributionsHalf day Monte Albán tourIt was my last day in Oaxaca and decided to do half day tour. This is a great tour. Ede is extremely knowledgeable and a fun guide. I asked to be dropped at the cultural museum afterwards and this was not a problem. I would recommend joining this tour.Written January 8, 2025
- meredithg5980 contributionsEnjoy Oaxaca is great!Enjoy Oaxaca is incredibly professional and provides better car service than anything that I have experienced in New York City. They supply driver information 12-hours before and were early for pick up on all four transfers that they arranged for us. We took a round trip to Mazunte which is a 3.5 hour drive from Oaxaca. Both drivers - Ramses and Sebastian - were excellent drivers and were attentive, friendly and helpful. Abraham was wonderful too for our airport transfers. I highly recommend this company - they take all of the stress out of your holiday plans!Written December 31, 2024
- Diana S0 contributionsExcellent service and guidesEdelmira and Christian are excellent guides and the tour was perfectly organized and timing was adequate for all The activities we had. The information given and all the places we visited were splendid .Written December 25, 2024
- mbd13240 contributionsFabulous day tour from OaxacaThis was a fabulous tour. The stops were all very worthwhile, and Chris and Ede did a wonderful job driving and guiding us. We were consistently the first tour van arriving at the stops, which made for a very un-crowded experience. Everything was on time and structured well. And the lunch stop was delicious 😋Written December 18, 2024
- Navigator2124280 contributionsDefinately the best tour I tookMy guide was Joshua, he was friendly, and knowledgeable. He was considerate and helpful. Wish the tour company would have provided a bottle of water. The site was incredible, wear a hat if it's 80 degreesWritten November 20, 2024
- Aidan M0 contributionsInteresting tour but did not live up to our expectationsWe did not visit the Artesan village, which had been advertised as part of the tour. We were with a friend who speaks Spanish and English and we know that we received a lot less information from the guide than those who spoke Spanish.Written November 19, 2024
- pallaresj0 contributionsOnce in a lifetime unique tourWhen asked where we wanted to go by our guide Sebastian all we said was food and culture. He immediately said I know just the the places. First was el Mercado in Ocotlan de Merida, where we had a great meal of QuesiBirrias and Tlayudas. Next was to "Manos que Ven" where a blind artesan makes the most unique clay figures with his family of three generations and his "Muse"wife. She actually sat down and talked to us, one on one, while creating a piece. Then off to a family of artists where we also met the three generations of weavers. Including one who is NOT allowed to compete any more, WHY? Because she has one ALL the competions in weaving. We met them and had a private tutoring session also. Truly unique experience all thought of on the spot. Great once in a lifetime and VERY affordable prices for one of a kind original works of craftsmanship. Thanks SebastianWritten November 17, 2024
- Exploration5713450 contributionsGood tour overall, read for the details, TL;DR Loved the first half, tolerated the second halfFun tour! The Tule tree was gorgeous and I loved that there was a bonus tree 1000 years younger also on the grounds. There are shapes in the bark that look like animals as well. The area around is super touristy with souvenir shops and restaurants so you can find a snack if you need. It was also slightly crowded with all the tour groups. Then we went to Mitla archaeological site which was very interesting to learn about. The ancient buildings feature the Zapotec symbols that I felt were worth seeing. Next we went to the mineral pools which also features a short hike to see the petrified waterfall. We didn’t do the whole hike since we wanted to get in the pools so we just did half of it and then got in one of the less crowded pools. It was super hot out and the pool felt nice and the views were amazing. After that we finally had lunch around 3pm at a buffet featuring local cuisine. Unfortunately there were not a lot of vegetarian options and most of our group was vegetarian. We got by on the staples of rice, beans, chips & salsa, grilled zucchini, and fruit. After lunch we visited a family rug making business where the rugs are made by hand from naturally dyed wool. You get a demonstration of how the rugs are made and then brought into the show room for a sales pitch. They honestly have a lot of cool rugs, pillowcases, wallets, table mats, and even purses in all different colors and designs. Overall I could have done without this activity but it was still nice to see the place. Lastly, we visited a mezcal distillery. This place was very crowded with tourists and if you have kids or don’t drink will not be fun for you or the kids. Personally I was interested in how mezcal is made because it relates to my job so I was engaged. At the end there’s a mezcal tasting and look - I’m not really a mezcal expert but I’m in the industry and I’ve tried some really nice mezcal - and the mezcal was mid at best. I totally could’ve done without this part and maybe done a better tasting somewhere else independently. Overall, I really enjoyed the first half of the day and then could’ve done without the last half. A huge thank you to our guide and driver who were extremely hospitable and kind. If I booked this tour again I would look for an option that only goes to the tree of tule, the mitla site, and hierve el agua.Written November 12, 2024
- suemP1796FL0 contributionsGreat all round - really enjoyed itWe really enjoyed every stop on this tour. The waterfalls and ruins were fascinating, the hot buffet lunch was excellent, the time allowed at each stop just right. Our guide was entertaining and informative and took good care of us. I highly recommend.Written October 29, 2024
- E1959MLjulier0 contributionsI highly recommend the full-day Monte Alban tourI took the Monte Albán tour that also included San Antonio Arrazola, Cuilapan, and Santa Maria Atzompa. Moses was our guide, and he was excellent. He had a lot of energy and had lots to say about every place we visited. He made the trip very interesting. I was blown away by the history and buildings at Monte Albán. It’s definitely worth visiting. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes. We toured an alebrijes factory in San Antonio Arrazola that, in addition to selling the colorful figures, was started to give jobs to the local young people. I appreciated that my purchases supported a good cause. The restaurant we stopped at for lunch had lots of different choices and everything I ate was delicious. I also enjoyed the presentation of how the black pottery is made by the originator’s grandson in Santa Maria Atzompa.Written October 17, 2024
- Lisa N0 contributionsamazing Oaxaca day trip! A must!My friend and I joined a day tour to visit El Tule, Mitla, Hierve el Agua, Teotitlán de Valle, and a lovely end stop at El Rey de Martian Mezcal tour. Our tour group was a total of 10 adults in a very comfy tour van with AC/ plenty of leg/arm space. Each stop on the tour was full of archaeological sites, beautiful natural sights, origins and history of Zapotec textile and design, and a nice end with an intro of how Mezcal is made/ taste. We had an amazing time, our tour group was awesome and made great connections throughout day, and cannot express our gratitude for our tour Guide Ede (Edelmira). She was engaging, warm, and super fun to talk to, she also did an excellent job in translating all the important details from Spanish to English for those not fluent in Spanish. Also tons of gratitude for our driver who got us to all our destinations safely and promptly . 🙏🏽 A few tips I recommend is to bring snacks( breakfast is not included) and at least 500 pesos for pit stop food break at el tule/ lunch buffet. Also, if you get Motion sickness, bring some Dramamine/ motion sickness meds, they were so kind to accommodate and let my friend sit up front. Thank you so much Ede for explaining in such great detail the amazing Zapotec history, and rich culture/ traditions of Oaxaca! I miss it already!Written October 4, 2024

Yes, it is a drive. And you do need to be able to climb up and down to the lagoon. But it is one of the pretties places I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot of places! We hiked into the cave, hiked to the cave art (which is on a mountain wall now, since the cave collapsed. THen we walked down to the falls, which are exquisite. Then down further to the lagoon. OUr guide was Felix--a wonderful man in his 60's who lived in Los Angeles for years and speaks some English. We had a small lunch afterwards by the stream. One of my favorite days (maybe my favorite!) in Oaxaca! Don't forget to bring water. You do not really need to bring a towel because the air is quite dry and we ended up air drying (even though we brought towels). Make sure you wear sneakers or hiking boots. The terrain is a little rough at times.

The place is absolutely incredible. The tour felt rushed and there were some inconsistencies, like the drive was an hour longer than they said, we got back a lot later than planned, and there was no cave which was listed on the itinerary.

Hello Sarah thank you so much for your feedback I´m so glad you enjoyed this amazing place.
I´m so sorry to hear that your saying that the driver picked you up one hour later . Ariana confirmed the pick up time one day before and the driver had to do other pick ups before you and not all of them were ready and only got 15 minuted later that the time confirmed. There is a cave called ´´the devil's cave´´ that the local guides point out and tell you a story about it but we are not allowed to enter we just look at it form the distance. The returning time can vary because its a share service but we will do our best to return at the time listed and keep improving our service.
Kind regards!

Spectacular waterfalls with great lagoons for swimming and wading! Water is a bit cold, so be ready for that and wear your water shoes. The trip is a bit long, but worth it!
