      Good tour of Monte Albán.
Good tour. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Worth the price. Monte Albán is a must do while in Oaxaca. Must be prepared to walk a lot.

It's an okay tour. Our guide Jimi was very knowledgeable and spoke both English and Spanish. He made the tour fun. It was organized and the communication was alright. I had arranged to be picked up at my hotel and received a message wondering if I was to be picked up or not. Thankfully, I checked my messages or I may have been left out? The site itself I'm sure is an incredible feat. However, after being there for an hour I was ready to leave. Nothing against the tour but the site itself can be seen standing in almost one spot. There are beautiful views, too. It just wasn't amazing.

      Gets the job done
This is just transport to the site and entrance tickets. You are left to your own devices at the Hierve el Agua for three hours. Personally, two hours is more than enough unless you intend to go for a long hike. We were collected from the Quinta Real Hotel in a comfortable air-conditioned van. The journey is quite long at 1:30 hours.

      Great walking tour of Oaxaca
Excellent tour, Sylvia was very informative and shared many things we would not have been aware of about the museums and other points of interest. We would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn more about Oaxaca.

      Fascinating and Worth It!!!
Don't miss this, it is fascinating. The tour guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Just a couple of pointers to make the most of it: 1) If you don't know Spanish, go on an English only tour - for our tour he did everything twice - once in Spanish and once in English which was confusing and made it take twice as long. 2) Gym shoes may be better than sandals and if someone is not steady on their feet, be ready to help them 3) Bring water. Although we were told that the souvenirs were cheaper at the site, they probably weren't, but they were still cheap and fun. If it's hot, half day may be better.

      A Great Overview of Oaxaca
A massive day of exploration with an excellent guide. Highly recommended for first time visitors to Oaxaca, especially if you don’t have access to a car as this tour gets you out into the countryside. Keep a good grip on your camera(s) if seated in the back of the very nice mini-van, as they might go flying; Mexican potholes and speedbumps are a bit more, uh, aggressive than Westerners might be used to.

      Monte Alban
The tour was very good, just enough to satisfy a history buff and since it was in the morning and only a half day, the temperature which was heating up was avoided. The guide gave a great history, but inside the museum, he wasn't the only one giving a tour and at times it was difficult to hear him.

The tour was arranged by the hotel. It started out very promising, a van and the driver said “about 12 people”. But no! We were transferred to 50 passenger bus with no ventilation and a driver who yelled at us for opening a window. The seats were small my knees were smashed and so was my head. We were allowed less than half an hour at the Tule, where we defected. Not fun to be ordered about with 50 people. I hate Mexican tours and only took this one under false pretenses. Be careful with tours in Oaxaca. Most will happily lie to you.

We do not have 50 seat buses, we do not have any buses at all. We have only air conditioned vans. I am sorry for you bad experience. We are not the same company.

This was a great tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and spoke in English and Spanish the whole day. Teotitlan del Valle was incredible, fav spot. Mitla was a little long so be sure to sit when you can. The buffet was great! The entrance fee for el Tule isn't really necessary because you can see the tree through the fence 10 feet away. The mezcal tour was fun and interesting (I'm not super into spirits but if you are, you might want to do an additional longer tour) and hierve el Agua was amazing! Definitely bring a towel and a swimsuit to go into the springs! Wear good shoes and be prepared for a hike with a lot of steps and it's sometimes a little slippery. Jam packed awesome day. Bring money for souvenirs, snacks and water!

This was a great way to see a lot of sites nearby Oaxaca City- especially as my friend and I only had a few days in the city. The day is planned very well- although I would recommend bringing a snack for the late morning as lunch happens around 130pm. I generally am hesitant about tours but this one exceeded my expectations. Our guide, Pavel, was spectacular. I felt the amount of time at each site was very well timed. I would recommend this tour!

This is a packed day and we really enjoyed it. Our guide was great and we were lucky that there were only six of us - all English speakers, so we didn’t have to have everything repeated in two languages. First we went to a little town with an enormous and famous Tule tree. It’s the world’s largest apparently and clearly greatly treasured by the town. Only a brief stop, but that’s all we needed. Next to an artisan bakery for a brief tasting of delicious breads and the option to buy some lunch. Our tour of Mitla was very interesting and the guide was very knowledgeable. The visit to the weaving factory was actually a highlight which we weren’t expecting. It was very interesting and no hard sell, but if you do want to buy, the selection is fabulous and your rug can be shipped. The petrified lake and pools were amazing. We had 90 minutes here which is enough to walk to the bottom of the first fall and swim. But don’t walk down without enough water to get you back up. It’s a steep climb in the heat. Next to a very reasonable buffet lunch place (not included in price). My husband and I only wanted a drink which was fine, but the others ate and liked it. After that we went to a Mescal factory for a brief talk and tasting which was fun. Great day!

This was a truly fantastic day. Everything we did was so fun and beautiful and the guide organized it very carefully so that we got to each location before it got busy. He was incredibly knowledgeable and seamlessly presented all the information and answered all our questions in both English and Spanish. You cannot come to Oaxaca without having this experience. So many amazing things all in one perfect day. And the drive through the countryside was gorgeous.

The tour we took was on June 27. The stops were educational/enjoyable but the guide was a stiff, dry, grumpy, old man with zero personality and disengaged. He couldn't be bothered to project his voice so people at the back of the van could hear. It was a low energy experience because of the sour disposition of the guide.

When you purchase online, tix are included; otherwise, you'll have to pay upon arrival. Tame your expectations about the waterfalls because they're ubermicro as in dribbling as opposed to gushing. The tour itself is well organized but the operator should be more selective with their hiring.

We really enjoyed our full day tour. Our guide Gabriel was excellent throughout the day, we even made an impromptu stop at an artisanal bakery when some of the tour group were hungry. The Mitla ruins were closed on the day so we stayed extra time at Hierve el Agua which was great because we had plenty time to do the walk AND go for a dip in the pools. The day ended on a high with mezcal tasting. Although it was a full day of touring the day flew. I would highly recommend!

Antonio the guide was excellent, he led the tour bilingually (Spanish and English) and was very knowledgeable and provided lots of interesting information. However, organisation and efficiency of the tour itself could be improved. We were meant to have time to go into the water pools but we did not, and the tour ended 1.5 hours later than advertised. It’s also extremely hot when you reach hierve el agua and so this stop would have been better done first thing in the morning as the first stop in my opinion as the hiking down and up the hill is intense in the heat with minimal shade. It’s worth doing the tour but be very prepared and if you dislike or struggle in the heat take A LOT of water, maybe snacks and consider missing the dry waterfall feature stop and just go to the water pools if you can with your guide. The staff were nice.

It was a great trip, very interesting. We went mostly to go to “Hierve el agua” which was fantastic and I think the least amount of time to spend there should be two hours. El Tula “The tree” was amazing, I couldn’t believe how big it was…Also Mitla. And the wool factory and the Mezcal experience were pretty good as well. I got a very good pick of Mexico in this tour.
    Some tips:
-Bring cash, some tours do not include the entrances to the parks. Also, you need it for lunch.
    -swimming suit on.
-ask for the easy path in Hierve el Agua if your knees are weak as mine.
The driver was excellent and so the guide. I highly recommend this tour.

Traveled with a friend around Mexico and this was our favorite of the guided tours that we took. Moises was the best host, always making sure we were comfortable, pointing out features of the landscape or neighborhoods that we were passing through, and introducing us to the locals. It was a lot in one tour, so definitely a great value. By the time you end at Hierve el Agua after walking all day, you'll want to dip in the pools. Highly recommend!
