Amazing Night of Lucha Libre Fun and Food
We booked a wrestling plus dinner night and it was amazing, mostly because of our tour guide, Patricia! On the ride over, she explained to us all about lucha libre so we were well prepared for the event. We had an absolute blast, cheering and booing during each match like we were seasoned audience members. Sure, we could have gotten tickets on our own, but our enjoyment was magnified because of Patricia and booking through Stepping Mexico. Plus, the seats were outstanding. Afterwards, Patricia took us to a dinner spot with amazing food that highlighted local cuisine but also matched our personalities. Patricia felt more like a friend than a tour guide. She wanted to know what types of things we wanted to see in Mexico so we can get the best out of our vacation. By the time she dropped us off at our hotel, we had a list of places to explore for the rest of our stay plus a memory-filled evening of wrestling and food. This evening was a true standout from our stay in Mexico City, and it’s all because of Stepping Mexico and Patricia. Muchísimas gracias!

A wonderful, interesting day, with an excellent guide.
This was a wonderful day in Mexico. It was a real treat to have a private trip. We started by travelling to Xochimilco. Jaime gave us loads of interesting information on the way there. We could see the volcanoes in the distance on our journey. Xochimilco was beautiful, a tropical paradise within the city. We had a boat to ourselves and Bryan was even allowed a turn at driving the boat! While meandering through the water we had some traditional Mexican snacks and tequila, delicious. It was lovely to see the flowers and vegetation and some wildlife. Next we went to the Anahuacalli Museum which was fascinating. It was quiet so we could take our time and look at the incredible artefacts for as long as we wanted. Next we spent time in Coyoacan. Again, Jaime's superb knowledge made this even more worthwhile. We saw areas that we would never have found on our own and learnt a lot about Mexican culture. We enjoyed a tostada at the market too! We were also impressed at how well Jaime navigated the city... I would not enjoy doing the driving here!

          What a magical experience
We had an absolutely incredible experience with Jaime and Adrián as our drivers. The sunrise balloon ride was magical, would absolutely say this is a must do activity whilst in and around Mexico City!

          Delightful experience, open to accommodations.
I went with my girlfriend and the experience was delightful. Coyoacán is a beautiful neighborhood and Frida is a very interesting character. Xochimilco is very romantic and fun. They were open to accomodate to special requests. For example the tour usually starts at 9:00, but they adjusted it for us to start at 12:00

5-Star Service and unique guiding style. Ask for Patricia!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If we can give Patricia 10 stars, we would. From the time she picked us up to the time she dropped us off, my husband and I were just in awe of the personalized service and care she exhibited. We always felt that she was paying attention to what we needed and offered alternatives in our tour that made sense to us. She made sure that we were fully informed at every step of the way. Overall, we were lucky to have her as our guide and we’re leaving Mexico feeling great about our experience and knowledge learned. Absolutely 5 stars!!!!⭐️ we will definitely ask for her again.

          Patto is perfection!
It was our first time visiting this beautiful country so we booked through Stepping Mexico via a recommendation 🇲🇽 The booking process was seamless, it was very informative and they made sure to try and fit in what we wanted around the time we had. We ended up having SUCH an amazing trip, and was it all down to having Patricia (Patto) as our tour guide! We were lucky enough to be assigned Patto for both days of activites booked for our trip in Mexico City, and she made us feel comfortable and spoilt throughout. Her knowledge is INCREDIBLE and we felt her way of communicating that knowledge was incredibly engaging and fascinating, I so wish she was my teacher when I was in school! To top it off she was also very funny and kind, we are soooo sad to be leaving. We all feel as though we have made a friend for life, we can't wait to come back and book more trips with her! Patto is an incredible asset to this company, and we are so grateful she was part of our journey. Thank you Patto for making it so so awesome! ❤️

          Wonderful private tour
Our private tour was wonderful and our guide was very knowledgeable. Derek picked us up promptly from our hotel and drove us to the pyramids where we spent 3 hours learning all about the ancient civilization. I highly recommend touring the pyramids before going to the Anthropology museum as you will have more context for what you'll see at the museum. We went to the pyramids on a Friday and it wasn't crowded. A wonderful experience for me and my husband!

          Fantastic tour of Xochimilico
Great tour! We went to Xochimilico and we had a blast. We had Armando who was lovely and knowledgeable. Gave us a little history, stopped and had some Pulque. Took us down some more residential canals. Highly recommend! Great tour company and guide.

          A Must Do
Patricia was an amazing host, who made us feel totally welcome, and more as friends rather than a tour guide. So much so we booked her two days back to back. I highly recommend and her knowledge and conversational skills are amazing.

          Amazing city tour
We took this tour a couple of weeks ago in our trip to Mexico and to say I recommend it is not enough. Armando is knowledgeable and accommodating, he’s also an excellent driver. The places and information covered would be impossible to do solo with the distances and traffic of the city. When we return to Mexico City we will definitely be taking more tours with Stepping.

An amazing day in Mexico City
The drive alone thru the city was amazing. We were staying in Palanco and drove to Xochimilco so we’re able to see many areas of Mexico City. Xochimilco was interesting, there was just our guide and my wife on a huge canal boat. By coincidence our boat name was Suzanna , my mother’s middle name and our daughter’s name. Both Coyoacan and the Frida Kahlo tour were amazing. Would love to return to Coyoacan and stay in the area for a week or so. The best part was our guide stood in line for the Frida museum and we went and had a glass of wine near by. Five minutes before our tour time we joined the line. The ride back to our apartment was an adventure as it was rush hour traffic and our drivers was amazing how he manipulated his way thru the traffic. Highly recommend the tour.

A delightful day out in CDMX!
This was the perfect introduction to Mexico City during our first day there. We were able to sit back and relax as Jaime whisked us around the city, answering questions and giving us tons of great insider facts and tips. The tour itself was perfectly laid out, but the cherry on top was Jaime's warmth and hospitality. After our tour was over, he even took the time to send us a bunch of personal recommendations for places to visit during our remaining time in the city. We highly recommend this tour!

          Great guide, great tour
This was a wonderful tour. Our guide, Armando, was fantastic! He speaks excellent, colloquial English and was exceptionally friendly and informative as he negotiated Mexico City traffic without incident. The highlight was the Casa Azul, but my wife and I were surprised by just how much we enjoyed the serenity of Xochimilco on a pleasantly warm Tuesday afternoon. And Armando led us on foot through the beautiful Santa Cristina section of Coyoacán. All in all, an excellent tour: we highly recommend it.

We had a great experience. Our tour guide, Jaime, picked us up promptly from the hotel and shared extensive knowledge of Mexico City.. He was also very nice, and catered to our interests.

A friend, her daughter, and I had a fantastic day doing a Mexican cooking class. We were picked up at our hotel by Jaime, taken to the market in Coyoacán where we were joined by Ricardo, then to the class with the chef. We shopped together, learned some of the history of the food and the area, then cooked and ate together with the chef. These three guys were so generous and friendly and we really enjoyed our time with them. I would highly recommend this company.

What an amazing experience and when I can highly recommend! Jamie picked us up from our hotel and gave us a history lesson about Mexico City and their neighborhood. He was a joy and so easy going. Then we met Ricardo at the market and we were blown away by his experience w the history of Mexican food and the culture and his explanation of everything in the market , then we walked to our cooking class and again had a nice history lesson.

We met our amazing Chef and we started our cooking class. I travel all over the world and have attended many classes, but this one beats them all. What fun we had, and I picked up many cooking techniques to take back home w me. Food was amazing and I would highly recommend!!

Do not think twice about booking, great experience!

This was one of the best experiences I have had traveling. Ricardo, Manolo, and Patricia made sure we had the most special day while also helping us to better understand and appreciate the history, complexity (and deliciousness!!!) of Mexican cooking. It felt like spending the day with your family, it was relaxed, fun, and I feel like I learned so much and am ready to cook at home. The fact you get to spend so much time with people so knowledgeable and so passionate is unmatched by any other experience like this i have done. Do not hesitate, book this experiece, it will make your time in Mexico City so much more rich.

Our cooking tour was fabulous. We chose an afternoon tour rather than breakfast. First our pickup driver and translator, Jaime, was charming and informative. On our first stop at el mercado de Coyoacan, we were met by Ricardo, a gastronomical expert and food critic whose breadth of knowledge was amazing. If it weren’t for the fact that our « Chef » awaited us we could have happily spent hours with him! Then an amazing cooking class and meal with Chef Alfonso. We chose to continue our evening by adding a specialty coffee tasting to our tour when we realized that Alfonso also had a passion for coffee as we do. But the best part was getting to know a bit about the lives of these three Mexicans and simply enjoy laughing and enjoying an afternoon and evening together.

Pick up was on time. Driver, Jaime, was knowledgeable and friendly. Took us to meet Ricardo at the market in Coyoacán. Ricardo was extremely knowledgeable with Mexican cuisine and made starting the day a pleasure. Guided us through the market explaining the food and it’s origins. Then went to meet Manolo, the chef, where we began the cooking experience. It was fun and Manolo made sure everyone was involved in the food preparation. Food and drinks were delicious. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended.

What an incredible experience!! If you’re thinking about doing this, stop thinking and just do it! By far the best thing we did in CDMX!
Patricia was a wonderful driver and tour guide, Ricardo was such a wealth of knowledge! I was so impressed with how much time we got with such a knowledgeable and connected person in the food industry. Finally Manolo! He said he wanted to create an atmosphere of cooking with Grandma, and he nailed it! Low pressure environment where any question is welcomed.
We have always been intimidated by cooking Mexican dishes like Mole, and Manolo made it so approachable.
        Five stars- would recommend!!
