      A special culinary experience
Excellent experience with attention to detail and education. Cooking is only part of the event. You will discover and learn so much about Mexican food, spices and flavor. Highly recommended.

      Not to be missed!
If you are interested in learning about and experiencing the food history and culture of Mexico, don’t miss this experience. Pame was an excellent instructor and guide, designed a great experience for us. The market tour was very educational (bug tasting optional) and a wonderful cooking experience.

      Cooking class in CDMX
This cooking class was so much fun! Pame was an excellent chef-teacher. We had a great time learning about Mexican food, touring the market, and cooking with new friends. Definitely take a class with Pame if you’re in CDMX!

Great way to learn traditional foods
The class was so much fun and interesting. I learned so much about mexican ingredients and what goes into various meals. We made several things and then ate them...so much food. Don't eat breakfast beforehand. It was great fun and Chef Nievetz (spelling?) and the two women in the kitchen were fantastic. The best time. I will definitely do another cooking class when I come back to CDMX.

      Authentic and Fun Cooking Experience
I had a great time here with my daughter and 7 other guests. Pamela was fantastic and shared a lot of information about Mexican food. We got involved in all parts of the meal prep. The visit to the market was really interesting too and I enjoyed tasting the various insects! The meal itself was delicious and I enjoyed the beer and mezcal too! We were also given access to recipe cards so we can try to recreate these meals at home.

      5 Stars for Pamela!
Pamela was host/chef for the group that I joined. She was fantastic! I signed up for Spanish speaking, but the group were English speakers so Pamela offered and proceeded to speak in very good English for the duration. I was a bit hesitant about committing 4 hours to this class/tour, but it flew by. Very enjoyable and I learned a lot, not only about salsa making, but food culture, the neighborhood and CDMX in general. Highly recommended. Pamela was very professional, knowledgeable and created an environment that was very comfortable and fun.

Fun, engaging and exceeded my expectations
This was so enjoyable! A perfect introduction to not only Mexican food but its culture and traditions. Lorena was very professional along with a great sense of humour! The session was very well organised - intro, Mercado visit, shared cooking/eating. Highly recommended.

Dive into Mexico City through cooking the food
One of the best things we did in Mexico City. Aura knows how to organize and entertain. We did the half day cooking class, which was really more like 3/4 of a day because we were enjoying it so much. We started with a hand made quesadilla and then went out into the Roma neighborhood to visit tortillerias, the local Mercado, and we sampled so many things while we were there. We learned about unique ingredients from different parts of Mexico. Then we went back to the studio to begin cooking a four course meal together. We had three couples who never met before but we were all friends by the end of the day. We really did cook, too. They put you to work and teach you a lot of history and techniques. Finally at the end of the day we sat together and ate what we had made and the food was so delicious. We were proud of ourselves. I was so full. Our chef instructor was Pamela, or Pame, as we called her, and she was outstanding. You will love her if you are lucky enough to have her as your guide. Do yourself a favor and book this. You will learn so much about Mexico through the food and culture. 5 stars!

An extraordinary learning and eating experience.
Excellent cooking class and tour of a local market. Chef Lorena was wonderful and courteous. Walking around the market and taste testing foods was a great experience. The kitchen was brightly colored and added to the ambiance of the experience. Each dish was carefully explained and very hands on. I would highly recommend this if you like learning and eating.

Amazing One-of-a-Kind Experience Not to be Missed in Mexico City
A terrific amazing one-of-a-kind experience not to be missed. Highly recommended! Everything was fantastic from the introduction, market tour (including tasting some insects), food prep/cooking and then dining at the end. The whole experience was 4 hours+ and was definitely the best food experience we have ever had anywhere in the world. The host chef was kind, outgoing, extremely knowledgeable, and an excellent teacher. The 4-course meal food preparation was definitely hands-on and a great learning experience. At the end after our meal, we were provided the recipes which was very much appreciated so we can re-create the foods at home. It was the highlight of our 8-day trip to Mexico. We would love to do some of their other tours on a return trip to Mexico City.

      Great Class! Highly Recommend!
The class was great. She was super knowledgeable and the class was very interactive. Everyone enjoyed all the food and we learned a lot. One thing to note - the meeting point is the kitchen so ring the doorbell. We had been standing outside assuming someone would come meet us to tour the market and didn't know we had to ring the doorbell.

      Cook and eat new things!
This class was a highlight of the trip! Well organized, well thought out, and well executed. We loved the market tour. The menu was perfect. Care was given to our vegetarian daughter. We just loved everything. Great for families with teens!

      Excellent cooking experience
The hospitality was wonderful and the food was delicious. Our field trip to the world famous Marcado de Medellin was colorful and fascinating. Ever wonder why Mexican chicken has an orange tint? It is the marigolds in their feed. Come see for yourself!

This was so fun, it was one of my favorite activities on our trip. The host is very personable and accommodating, and the recipes that you get to take home are easy to follow.

I took the vegan cooking class with Lorena and it was such a good time! She made me feel right at home in her space and was super welcoming and kind. She wakes us through the main plaza and the market in Coyoacan and had us try a few new foods there before going back to the kitchen to cook four amazing dishes: tortilla soup, vegetable tamales, carrot tacos "al pastor," and an avocado ice cream (with some mezcal to wash it all down). Everything was delicious and she was a great teacher with lots of knowledge of Mexican cooking and culture. Would definitely take a class with her again.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. Graciela is not only an incredible cook, but she also is incredibly knowledgeable about the historical/anthropological/sociological/geographical aspects that have turned Mexican cuisine into what it is today. She's also a fun instructor whose love for food and her city shine through. The market tour provided me an excellent opportunity to learn about the history of Mexican food, as well as the everyday practices surrounding it. Meeting vendors in the market and on the street was also a very eye-opening experience, since it created a comprehensive picture of the food production process. It was also a delicious and educational experience, as it also gave me a sense of which street foods I can find while out and about that are vegan. The cooking class itself was a lot of fun, and Graciela was a great mentor. My knife technique isn't exactly the best, and I had never rolled a tamale before; Graciela exhibited kindness and patience throughout all of that. Awesome conversation, delicious (and abundant) food, all in a beautiful space with incredibly attentive staff. I recommend this unconditionally.
