About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- E3928HOpabloa0 contributionsGreat tour!!!Incredible trip. Tour guides were so friendly and worked so hard to give us a great experience. They organized the trip so we could enjoy it without rain. 10/10 recommend.Written November 5, 2024
- E4523ACjuane0 contributions. We had a great time. Our tour guide Carlos was very informative, funny and answered everyone’s questions. Our driver Albert was amazing and kept us safe. Request them, if you can.Written October 30, 2024
- Xof A0 contributionsSome good things, some bad...The good things, the driver was really nice always behind us to make sure we were not lost. Taxco city is very beautiful and it is totally worth it to walk along it's narrow streets. The bad, we took this trip because we did not want to visit the silver mine. However, we made 3 stops to silver shops on our way. Don't buy there, it is overpriced. Don't hesitate to say No. The guide did not go in the church with us, but we found a local guide at the entrance that gave us a quick explanation (old guy with a green purse).Written October 20, 2024

- Road159331118180 contributionsA fun and informative tripWe enjoyed the trip very much. Charlie gave a very nice and informative guide. The amount of walk was adequate amd we get good time to explore the sites on our ownWritten June 21, 2024
- 485janelp0 contributionsDo not recommend!!!The pyramids were nice, the tour guide was horrible. Our guide was an older lady named Teresa and she had the worst attitude. She made the explanations way too long so at some point one lady walked away and my daughter started looking at her phone. So two people were not paying attention out of a group of 12. Well she started complaining that everyone needed to pay attention or she would rather call for another guide. I calmly said to her "Ma'am don't worry about it the rest of us are listening" I said this in spanish, to which she replied "don't call me Señora that's what you call the cleaning ladies". Then she says "clearly you weren't paying attention when I said my name is Teresa. It just went downhill from there. No one in the group was happy. So once we finally made it to the pyramids (after several other stops) we separated from the group ( which she wasn't happy about and yelled at me from afar) and we returned in an Uber. The ride wasn't that great either. It was a crammed 12 person van. I thought it was going to be one of those big tour busses which I did see from another company when we arrived.Written June 17, 2024

- PuggleMaster30000 contributionsGood for families with kidsRosa (guide) and Eli (driver) were great. Prompt, punctual, kept the tour moving, and gave us clear instructions as well as what to expect throughout the day. We traveled with kids age 7 & 9. For those with kids, I recommend bringing plenty of water and snacks (you can leave stuff in the van at the stops). There are opportunities for purchasing food and lots of restroom opportunities but do take the opportunities when you get them. It’s a long day, 8:15am to 5pm but worth it because a lot of sights are packed in and the guides make everything so easy for you.Written March 30, 2024
- rociorY2781NC0 contributionsWonderful experienceThe tour began with a scenic drive from Mexico City to the archaeological site, offering glimpses of the surrounding countryside and setting the stage for the adventure ahead. Upon arrival, our great guide lead us through the sprawling complex, sharing captivating insights into the city's rise and fall, its mysterious inhabitants, and its enduring legacy. The highlight of the tour is undoubtedly the opportunity to ascend the majestic pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, where breathtaking views await atop their towering summits. As you climb the ancient stone steps, you can't help but marvel at the ingenuity and craftsmanship of the ancient Teotihuacanos, who constructed these monumental structures without the aid of modern technology. After the pyramids we headed to the Basilica Guadalupe, the tour began at the main entrance of the Basilica complex, where we were greeted by the iconic image of Our Lady of Guadalupe emblazoned on the facade. Stepping inside, we were enveloped by the tranquil atmosphere of the Basilica, adorned with vibrant murals, intricate mosaics, and flickering candles that evoke a sense of reverence and devotion. The centerpiece of the Basilica is the revered Tilma of Juan Diego, believed to be the miraculous cloak upon which the image of the Virgin Mary miraculously appeared in 1531. Guided by knowledgeable docents, visitors have the opportunity to learn about the history and significance of the Guadalupe apparition, as well as the enduring devotion it has inspired among believers for centuries.Written March 14, 2024

I enjoyed seeing the pyramids but this trip could have been organized much better. Our tour guide Rosamaria tried her best. She explained everything in Spanish and English. Our first stop was the Basilica and we took a walk through all together. She then gave us free time. Except she was giving us 2 hours there instead of the 1 hour on the itinerary. When one of the other visitors brought that up, she cut only 20 minutes off of our free time. She assured us, don't worry, we'll have plenty of time for the pyramids and lunch. She told us later that the Basilica is such an important religious site that people who want to take the tour for that reason get annoyed when they have a shorter time. Except that everyone knew how much time was allotted on the itinerary and chose the trip based on that.
What ended up happening was we went to a terribly slow restaurant for lunch that took two hours to deliver all of our food - a few of us had pre-paid for lunch, which was supposed to be but wasn't a buffet, and most others hadn't. That meant 40+ people had to order individual meals. They couldn't handle it. Those who pre-paid only had 2 set menus to choose from while everyone else had all of the choices. By the time the last couple of people received their food, there was only an hour and 15 minutes left until Teotihuacan was closing (not for last entry but to kick you out). They had to scarf it down and we rushed over there. The guides mostly told us about the pyramids on the way back to Mexico City.
Rosamaria acknowledged that the restaurant was a very bad choice and said it wasn't her fault, that the manager had chosen it. If they choose another restaurant with a buffet that can handle a group of a large size, and also stop changing the timing of each stop based on what they think visitors want, this would be a decent tour, but for now I'd suggest looking at other companies.

Dear Customer,
Thank you for your detailed feedback regarding your recent experience with us. It is through such comments that we can truly understand our guests’ experiences and continue to improve our service accordingly.
We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed visiting the pyramids and that our guide Rosamaria's efforts were appreciated. She is indeed committed to providing a memorable experience and your kind words will be conveyed to her.
We regret, however, that there were aspects of your tour that did not meet your expectations. We understand that the discrepancy between the scheduled time at the Basilica and the actual time spent there caused inconvenience. We will take your feedback into account and work towards a more precise adherence to our itinerary.
The issue you highlighted regarding the lunch experience is deeply concerning. We understand how important the dining experience is to the overall satisfaction of our guests. We sincerely apologize for the delay and confusion, and we appreciate your suggestion to switch to a buffet system at a restaurant more equipped to handle large groups. We will seriously consider your advice.

My favorite tour so far in Mexico! Xavier is a very knowledgeable guide, very interactive, genuinely friendly and approachable. As a local, he could give us a lot of information that you can't find easily accessible on guide books and he held our interest throughout the day. He also gave us his phone number to make the communication easier in case we were apart from the group. The group was small, around 10 people so it was easy to connect and socialize and it was a lot more fun! Full day with enough time to enjoy all sites. Definitely recommend!

We went oct 30, 2023. Our driver was Israel and tour guide was Antonio. We were in a mixed group of English and Spanish speakers and Antonio did a good job explaining everything in both Spanish and English. He provided so much knowledge about the areas. We went to the basilica Guadalupe, went for lunch which we opted to have the buffet included, met with a local guide who showed us obsidian and gave us some samples of tequila, then spent a few hours at Teotihuacán. Antonio was very friendly and always looking after us to make sure we weren’t lost and were enjoying ourselves. He always set a meeting point prior to each location in case we got separated from the group which I thought was excellent. I would recommend this day trip

I enjoyed this tour especially the full history given at every stop on the tour by Carlos the tour guide who was extremely personable. I learned alot and this was the last thing I did before I returned home the next morning and it was a nice end to my stay in Mexico city. This tour was smaller and the group fit in a van vs. a charter bus like another tour I went on the day before. I liked the smaller group better since I was a solo traveler. Also it was easier to park, be picked up and arrive/depart on time. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mexico city.

Super recommended, the guides Rosa Maria and Eliseo, excellent people, super friendly.
Of course, a couple of things for those who take the tour:
It is better not to include lunch, since the options they give you in the restaurant are very limited, and we personally did not like them. Those who had not included lunch did better as they had more options to order.
I would not use the word "fake" to describe the intervention in Teotihucan, as an architect, I prefer to use the word "reconstruction", since fake means false. The site was intervened, and archaeologists have tried to reconstruct it according to what is available, what it probably was in its times of splendor.
Finally, Eliseo, sorry for accidentally taking your bag. Greetings.
Thank you very much for a wonderful day.

This tour was wonderful! Besides Teotihuacan being an amazing experience, the trip included a tour of a local artisan group that makes obsidian pieces and silver jewelry, plus tequila and mezcal with agave plants grown on site. We got to taste several agave based drinks that are produced throughout the harvest and fermentation process. They had a huge shop that I bought several beautiful pieces of high quality silver jewelry at. We paid for the included lunch which was delicious. Our tour guide and driver were both lovely and very knowledgeable. Exceptional value for your money, highly recommend!

We did this tour with Melissa and Xavier. It was the best time! Melissa was very knowledgeable and asked whether we wanted the tour in English or Spanish based on the makeup of the group. Even though I know about Mexican history, I learned a lot from her! Together, our guides established a very friendly and entertaining atmosphere early on. We were also in the same group of some very nice folks from Colombia and Cuba, so overall, it was just the best day!

I have been quite surprised that when asked to write a review I have read the tour description and have actually seen there, that it should have included a lunch. I have booked the tour for 2 people and we have been asked to pay at the restaurant. Of course I should have known what I have booked but to simply rip us off is not a very nice move of the tour operator.

We really liked the experience, super punctual at the indicated pick-up location, the story given by the guide Antonio was very detailed, we really liked the detail and the images he presented to us indicating each moment in time where the events occurred. They told us where to get the souvenirs near the Guadalupe church, and we had a very good time at the pyramids to get to know the area.
Highly recommended!

A big thanks to our guide Rosa Maria and our driver Eli. We were a smaller group which made everything more enjoyable even though the weather wasn't the best that day. Rosa Maria is a great tour guide, educated and entertaining, she explained everything in Spanish and English. The van was clean and comfy and the lunch was in a perfect time to get some rest. Definitely recommend it.
