This was one of the most valuable experiences we had in Mexico City. Our guide Anna added a level of understanding that we never could have achieved on our own. She helped us understand the different cultures and time periods. I was amazed by her depth and breath of knowledge and the hours flew by! I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. If we come back to CDMX we will absolutely book this again so we can explore the second floor of the museum.

Visiting CDMX for the first time, the Anthropology Museum tour was the perfect introduction to the rich history of Mexico. The museum is vast and deserves many return trips. The tour guide, Ana, is extremely knowledgeable and a skilled communicator. I visited early on a week day, and there were very few people inside. Other than required mask usage, everything was open for viewing. Very well done, Ana and Mexico a Pie!

Thanks Eric! We really appreciate your comments, and we are happy that you enjoy your experience in the National Museum of Anthropology. It is a museum that opens the opportunity to visit it several times with a guide and don’t repeat the halls you visit. Hope to see you again!

Three of us took the private tour of Museo Nacional de Antropología with Ana. She is fluent in English, knowledgeable, passionate, professional and extremely patient. She gave us detail explanation of key items and answered all our questions. We all love the tour very much and the money is well spent!

They are very responsive. They provided all the information we needed even we booked the tour less than 24 hours before the tour starting time.

Excellent experience: The Anthropology Museum is literally one of the best museums in the world, together with the fact that our tour guide, Marco, from Mexico de-pie was awesome, made it an unforgettable experience.

We understand Spanish, but we are more fluent in English, so we were hesitant to take a Spanish only guide, but Marco, was very clear, speaking slowly and using basic Spanish and we understood perfectly. His knowledge was very wide and deep, and you can see that he is very passionate about pre-hispanic culture.

We were told that this museum can be overwhelming, so we are happy that we arranged for a guide to steer us through just a fraction of ancient Mexican history. Emiliano was very informative and patiently answered all questions. He opened the door on a part of history we never learned back in the U.S. I would highly recommend this tour.

Yay! So, me and my husband went on this tour. To be honest, I am not a huge history buff and I wasn’t too excited about a 3.5 hour tour with a private tour guide. You know you have to answer questions when you are on a private tour 🙂 but, I loved it! I loved Ana our tour guide.

She allowed us to tell her if it was too much info and asked us what we would like to visit aka was there anything in particular! She knew all the info and silly questions we asked and was very patient. But, most of all, the museum had inside and outside art. So moving around was a must and let us breathe!

Ana also asked if we needed a break. We said yes and went to the wonderful museum cafe! Thank you for such a wonderful experience at a beautiful museum Ana!

Gracias for your review! It is super nice to read that you loved a private 3.5-hour tour. We are so happy to learn that Ana changed your mind about this. Thanks to the excellent museography of the place, we can go in and out during the tour making your experience unique.

The Anthropology Museum is a must do. Beautiful building and amazing overview of how the different groups and places in Mexico developed. Definitely do the introduction to anthropology hall as well. Our guide Emiliano added a lot to the experience. He directed us to the most relevant places, which is very important because there is so much to see. Also, most descriptions are not in English so our guide really enhanced what we took away.

This was wonderful tour. Our guide Emiliano was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us a very solid overview of the museum and was able to answer all of our questions. Knowing we were visiting the pyramids a few days later he made sure we had some basic knowledge of them before our trip.

Emiliano was a great guide who tailored the tour around our interests. He was very knowledgeable and introduced the museum in a very interesting and informative way. Highly recommended! Terrific museum. It take the full 4 hours just to see highlights. Agree with all the other five star reviews.

This was one of the best tours we’ve taken! Our guide Ana was so knowledgeable and we learned a lot. It’s really worth it to take a private tour as you’ll get a more personalized experience. Also Ana curated the experience in a way that we went through the history chronologically which you won’t be able to get going there without a guide.
Amazing experience and we would recommend it to everyone!
