I went on this bike tour with my girlfriend, because she enjoys street art and biking, and she absolutely loved it. A highlight of our trip. Overall, we really enjoyed the bike ride. It was a great way to explore the city and enjoy some delicious street food.

Also, Ivan was great with ensuring that we were safe on the road with the use of his hand signals. Ivan showed us some amazing art and gave us some history of Mexico that was really insightful.

For folks thinking about taking this tour, it took about 2-3 hours of bike riding. Some prior experience in bike riding on busy streets could be extremely helpful.

Take a bike tour with Poray and discover the true gems of Mexico city that are hidden in the buzzing streets or the tranquil nooks and crannies of Tlatelolco!

The tour begins at Fontán Reforma Hotel, where their shop is located. You're given a bike that will be adjusted according to your needs, as well as a helmet if you'd like one. My bike was a beach cruiser with a basket, which was ideal since I was dragging along my camera and water.

My guide, Danny, was a super enthusiastic, has been biking his entire life and would know the roads with his eyes closed, so needless to say I felt safe even when riding the busy streets. Our first stop was made at the Monumento a la Revolución, where he gave a brief explanation of the background. Then we went on to the Buenavista-Guerrero Corridor, where we locked our bikes and took a walk down the street that features murals that cover the entire building facades. Then we drove through the quiet neighborhood of Tlatelolco, to the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, where he gave a detailed backstory of the massacre as well as the history of the pyramids and the church. After this stop, we set off again in search for more murals all over town. We finished the tour with a light lunch in the marketplace at Plaza Garibaldi before heading back to the starting point.

Biking through CDMX, admiring the many pieces of art on the walls, gives you a unique perspective that no other tour will be able to offer you. The biking aspect of the tour is not strenuous at all, so I would recommend anyone to see the city from a different angle and hop on a bike with Poray!

This was my family’s favorite day in Mexico City. It was such a glorious way to see and experience the city, art, people and different neighborhoods. Alberto and the other guide made us feel so safe and comfortable. They were very knowledgeable and friendly and never tired of my endless curiosity. My kids 10 & 12 loved the trip and felt excited to do something a little different than just walking around and loved being in charge of themselves on their bike. They didn’t give us helmets and we didn’t ask, but felt very safe on bikes in such a busy huge city, because of the routes and ways they protected us from cars by blocking intersections. Highly Highly Highly recommended!!

We love street art and we were very much looking forward to this tour. Unfortunately, it was awful. Our guide knew next to nothing about the art. He couldn't tell us the names of the artists or anything about the history of or meaning of street art in Mexico City. We rode right by several beautiful pieces of art without stopping. We stopped at places where the sun was in precisely the wrong spot to see or photograph the art. If you are looking for a pleasant bike ride, this tour is fine, but do not book if you want to actually learn about the street art.

This company was referred to me by another friend who did their urban art biking tour during the pandemic. My 2 friends and I came in early Feb 2022 and this was the only tour we booked outside of Airbnb experiences. The price and value was great! We were the only ones on the tour with Pablo. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We weren’t expecting to eat on this tour but he stopped by for some delicious chicharrones, tlacoyos and even tried pulque. Highly recommend this tour!

The art bike tour was great. I asked to see the “real Mexico” and that’s where Alberto, my guide, took me. We didn’t go to Condesa and Roma that were listed in the description, which I was glad for b/c those are upscale neighborhoods with more tourists. Alberto was a very nice and kind person who knows the ins and outs of Mexico City well. He claimed his English wasn’t good, but we were able to communicate very well and even got into some real discussions about politics and life. I would recommend this tour.
Just as a note the tour is arranged with a bike rental/tour company based in Mexico City, not the one listed when you book.

We were really excited to check out the urban art via bike, but found this one to be a little lackluster. Our tour guide was a little late and just seemed kind of flat. (I think she has a tendency to be late because we also got a text message a week prior informing us she'd be late for a different tour that we weren't even booked on)
This could be very "american" of me but I didn't love that they didn't encourage us all to wear good helmets since we were winding down some of the busiest streets of Mexico City. I felt safe throughout but remember thinking that was a little idiotic.
Still, it was nice to see some art and get some info in a different way. I just think the tour guide could've made the experience a little more engaging.

Would definitely recommend Poray- the tour was a fun and safe way to see the urban parts of CDMX. Tour guides had a lot of knowledge about the history behind the artwork and sites we saw and went out of their way to make us feel safe on the road. Would definitely recommend wearing the optional helmet!

It was great to bike to parts of the city that are often not seen by tourists and to learn about murals and the ways in which the communities and artists work to change their spaces. Alberto and Hector was wonderful, informative, and patient. Really glad we did it.
