We saw so many beautiful areas of Mexico City on this bike tour. Our guide Alberto was knowledgeable and patient and chose the best, smoothest routes. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon!

      Great trip!
It was a crazy day, high heat and the throngs of women marching in the demonstration for International Women’s Day had taken over many streets and monuments all over town. But our guide, Iván, led us safely out and about. We saw many monuments and beautiful park areas. And it was just plain fun to be riding on bikes as a way to see some sites, rather than by bus or car. The tour included stops for a drink or fruit as well as lunch at a taco stand - generously paid for by Iván. His language skills were impressive, as was his knowledge of historical facts. He was a very capable guide, an excellent navigator of the streets and exceedingly friendly and personable. We thoroughly enjoyed the outing and would consider the others that were offered.

No bikes available after we paid.
Made and paid for online reservation for the CDMX Sunday Bike Ride on 2/11. On 2/18 went in at the assigned time. No bikes were available. Poray offered a refund. We wanted bikes, not a refund. They pulled 2 bikes for us to use.that were mechanically defective. So we bought Ecobici memberships for a year. The cost was $30usd for each. Poray's fee was $30usd/2 bikes for 3 hours. Bikes were sound, well maintained and available all over the city.

      Wonderful tour with Alberto
We loved our morning bike tour with Alberto! He really took the time to make it a special tour for us and was excellent at pointing out road hazards to be aware of as we cycled. Most of our time was spent cycling on bike paths along Reforma and in Bosque de Chapultepec. Included lunch was a delicious torta! Alberta also provided us with recommendations to a couple of favourite taco stands. Thanks for a great day!

La Cantera - a challenging route.
Took the La Cantera tour. nice route around Coyoacan-San Angel and some great markets. Loved UNAM and it's amazing campus. Plus the Olympic Stadium. There were lots of climbs and cobbled roads and was hoping to have at least some gears on the bikes provided. Quite heavy and fixed gears and some less fit would likely get off and walk. Otherwise, knowledgable guide and a really good way to see the ins and outs of the city.

Excellent alternative tour of real CDMX
Excellent alternative tour of the real CDMX. We learned so much about the real Mexico City. The street art, that is awesome, became a gateway for us to learn about Mexico City heritage and the life of middle class in poor Mexicans here. Our guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, flexible, very considerate of our needs, and truly interested in telling us about his city and his neighborhood. Even the finish was so much fun having some real street food that was different from the normal tacos that we have had. We had had a very poor experience with Viator, and booked these guys privately. I recommend doing so. We also very much recommend this company for a bike tour.

Professional and Family friendly Bike Tour Guides
We loved biking though some of the most emblematic parts of Mexico City: Paseo de la Reforma, Angel de la Independencia, Monumento a la Revolución, Bosque de Chapultepec, Polanco, Anthropology Museum, etc. Our guide took us to a little stand in Polanco to have torta de cochinita pibil (shredded pork sandwich) and it was great. My husband and I took the tour with my 15 month baby daughter and I'll be forever grateful to our Poray guide that biked with her because we had some balance difficulties biking with her as it was her first time on a bike. We thought we had to abort the biking plans but our guide biked with her and had all the patience of the world and at the end it worked smoothly and we all had a great time. They are professionals in what they do. My sincerest THANK YOU!

      Perfect 1/2 day tour.
Casual bike riding thru safe streets (not too many cars and those cars around were slow and respectful, unlike some of the busy streets near CDMX central city). The guide stopped to answer our questions and waited for us as we went thru the Frida Kalhoe Museum. Nice benefit. Bikes were fine, even over the few cobblestone roads.

      Tour guide No Show
I would rate this experience a zero if I could. After booking the tour 3 days in advance I received an immediate email confirmation and ticket with the name and phone number of the local guide. I communicated with the local guide , Poray. via WhatsApp 2 hours before our meeting time to confirm we would be there and waiting at the meeting spot and again when we arrived half an hour early. She did not respond. . When we arrived there was another group of 4 waiting for the same tour. About 15-20 minutes after the meeting time I called the guide. She finally responded and said she did not have a reservation for our group or the other group. I sent her a picture of the ticket that included her name, photo and phone number as well as my name and the meeting time and place. She insisted we did not have a tour booked that morning. I called Viator who put me on hold and finally came back to apologize and tell me I could expect a refund in 7 business days. We spent our morning and paid an Uber $17 to be on time for the tour using the directions sent to me from Viator. They should offer a refund for the Uber and something to compensate us for our time lost on waiting for the issue to be resolved.

Amazing bike tour through Mexico City
The bike ride around the city was amazing and one of the highlights of our trip. We had a big group and felt very safe with our guides Ivan and Manuel. The city is beautiful at night. This is a must if your in Mexico City especially when you have limited time.

      The Canals of Xochimilco, amazing!
We did the canals tour through Mexico City's southern neighborhood of Xochimilco. It was a really amazing and intimate tour with our guide and three residents who lived on the canals. We woke at 4, were picked up and taken to the area where we got on the canals and saw the sun rise surrounded by one of the most beautiful and picturesque areas. It was educational, experiential and felt like a really intimate view into life in an area of the city that feels from another time. You should run not walk to do this tour. That said from someone who cherishes her sleep but woke at 4.

      Best bike tour I've done!
This was such a great tour and an excellent way to get to know the the neighborhood of Coyoacan. Carlos was so thorough throughout the tour and the companies intention to share all parts of the city with us (not just the happy tourist parts) was much appreciated. I feel that I really got to know many parts of Mexico City by doing two bike tours with Poray Bike Tours. Thank you!

One of the best times I had in Mexico and I had not ridden a bike in over 30 years!! Thank you Pablo and Johnny for making me feel so safe exploring Mexico City by bike....the street art was incredible and I really enjoyed the history lesson. A suggestion, provide a map of the areas covered at the end of the trip so I can realise how far we travelled. Highly recommend!!!

A fun morning with Guide Danny and a very nice group. I’m so proud of myself for cycling through Mexico City traffic (with a little (lot) of help. from my friends).
It was magical riding up to the Monument of the Revolution on our cycles.
The best part was hearing the stories and history of Mexico City while being right where history happened. Danny was particularly impressive recounting the events of October 3, 1968 in the Plaza de las tres Culturas.... essential if you want to understand modern Mexico.
Street art is beautiful and invaluable to the communities that benefit from it for so many reasons. This tour celebrates that.

Our guide Moa was lovely and made sure we were safe and happy throughout our tour, asking us our preferences and checking in constantly to make sure we were enjoying everything. She took us all over the city and explained the significance of many of the murals we saw.and treated us to some delicious street food we would not have tried otherwise. Although she apologized for her English , she was very easy to understand and went out of her way to be helpful. Highly recommend the tour.

I went on this bike tour with my girlfriend, because she enjoys street art and biking, and she absolutely loved it. A highlight of our trip. Overall, we really enjoyed the bike ride. It was a great way to explore the city and enjoy some delicious street food.

Also, Ivan was great with ensuring that we were safe on the road with the use of his hand signals. Ivan showed us some amazing art and gave us some history of Mexico that was really insightful.

For folks thinking about taking this tour, it took about 2-3 hours of bike riding. Some prior experience in bike riding on busy streets could be extremely helpful.

Highly recommend this tour if you love seeing the rawness of the city and street art. Our guide Gary was very knowledgeable and passionate. He lead us around some of the streets in Mexico City thou we felt relatively safe with him I definitely wouldn't walk/clycle those streets without a guide. We heard some stories and saw some amazing pieces. He took us to his favourite street vendor for a nibble of the local cuisine which was great.
We found the tour on the GO City app and booked the 2pm tour which was confirmed. When we arrived for the tour we discovered that they no longer offer the tour in the afternoons. But of a communication breakdown between the bike tour and the app. The tour people were very helpful and apologetic and everything worked out in the end, I only make mention so you know to double check the booking time.

Dani was incredible and the experience was so unique. Cycling around Mexico City was cool in and of itself, but getting to see various neighborhoods and hear/see their history through the street art was incredible. Our group had so much fun! Must do!

I have been to Mexico City multiple times and this was by far one of the most unique/interesting tours. We did the cultural/art bike tour. We got away from the typical Roma/Condesa areas (those tours would be great too, I’ve just done them before), and were able to learn the history behind other parts of the city.

The guides were extremely knowledgeable and fun. We felt safe with two guides (one would block traffic as the other led) and the ride was not too intensive.

    Would highly recommend!

Excellent bike tour! Alberto ensured that we rode safely through traffic. His hand signals were very helpful in getting us through intersections with heavy traffic. He imbued the tour with a love for Mexico and provided lots of insight into the history and pre-Hispanic culture. The tour of authentic or “real” neighborhoods made it much more than a city bike tour. The authentic lunch of tlacoyo topped it off. Alberto was patient and kept a pace that we were comfortable with. Each bike came with bottled water. A fabulous tour in every respect!

This was a great experience. We did this with our young kids and the whole family really enjoyed. We were concerned about the safety initially but the team did a great job managing the traffic. We used a tandem bike for the younger kid so the whole experience was very pleasant and the kids didn’t feel overly tired.
I would recommend to families who want a grassroots way of exploring the city with the entire family.

This was my family’s favorite day in Mexico City. It was such a glorious way to see and experience the city, art, people and different neighborhoods. Alberto and the other guide made us feel so safe and comfortable. They were very knowledgeable and friendly and never tired of my endless curiosity. My kids 10 & 12 loved the trip and felt excited to do something a little different than just walking around and loved being in charge of themselves on their bike. They didn’t give us helmets and we didn’t ask, but felt very safe on bikes in such a busy huge city, because of the routes and ways they protected us from cars by blocking intersections. Highly Highly Highly recommended!!
