A guide leads you through Colonia Roma, one the city’s trendiest neighborhoods, giving you an insider introduction ideal for first-time visitors. You’ll taste everything from fish tacos to authentic Oaxaca cooking, mezcal to microbrews, and specialty coffee to French cuisine in one seamless experience.
What to Expect
A local guide introduces you Mexico City's stylish Colonial Roma neighborhood as only a Chilango can. During a half-day walking tour you’ll get to know the historic district and eat in mix of ethnic eateries, mom-and-pop establishments, and atmospheric neighborhood restaurants.

Just west of the downtown’s historic center, Roma is offers an overview of Mexico’s food culture and history in one walkable district. This former haven of European elites and current bohemian enclave has experienced a culinary renaissance in recent years.

With the help of your English- or Spanish-speaking guide (both are available), you’ll have a glimpse of the day-to-day life of Mexico City, see Roma’s hidden gardens, historical architectural character, and century-old mansions. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to taste fish tacos, authentic Oaxacan food, contemporary Mexican dishes, Mexican microbrews, mezcal, and specialty coffee.
