Experience Mexico City: Teotihuacan Pyramids by Metro and Dinner with a Local Family
From $34.50
Lowest Price Guaranteed
Gain a new perspective on Mexican history on this half-day tour of the ancient pyramids of Teotihuacan. No need to plan logistics on your own: All admission tickets are included and a guide navigates the journey for you. After watching the setting sun from the top of a pyramid, enjoy a home-cooked meal at the home of a local family, where your bilingual guide facilitates the conversation.
What to Expect

Avoid the stress of navigating public transit on your own by meeting your guide at a centrally located metro station in Mexico City.

On arrival at Teotihuacan, begin your walk through the ancient “City of the Gods.” On this small-group tour capped at 12 people, you’ll avoid the large crowds that gather for museum-run tours. Listen to speculation on the mystery of who could have built the massive structures and then climb the Sun Pyramid for panoramic views of the Mexican Highlands.

After the tour, follow your guide to a neighboring town for a taste of pulque, an alcoholic beverage sacred to the Aztecs. From there, experience a side of Mexico rarely available to tourists at the home of a local family, where you sit down for a homemade meal in good company.

After dinner, join the guide on public transit for an easy trip back to Mexico City.

Great day trio

We really enjoyed the tour. We were pleasantly surprised that we were picked up by a van, which made things easier and more comfortable. Teotihuacán was very interesting and we enjoyed the visits to family homes afterwards. Thanks Adriana and team!

Basically a ride to the Pyramids. The dinner was a wast of time.

Basically a ride to the Pyramids. The dinner was a wast of time. I would try to find another way out to the attraction.
