We saw incredible views, 3 wild horses and a deer. The altitude makes biking in Guajuato challenging

Raul was great, he knows the history and culture well. The bike ride was phenomenal, I achieved my goal of connecting with nature and exercising at the same time. Raul was punctual, kind and thoughtful. Highly recomendable.

Great experience full of fun. Flight was early in the morning 🌄. We were picked up near our hotel and brought back afterward.

Extremely satisfied with Sebastian and Raol, at Turismo Alternativo Guanajuato. Our task was Guided tour in Guanajuato with surroundings and transport from Guanajuato to San Miguel de Allende, with sight seeing on the way. Raol was a polite and safe driver. Our day started very early in the morning and ended in the evening 12-13 hours later. We didn´t feel bored for a minute. Actually no plan were maid in advance, but taken ad hoock and tailored for us as time and kilometers passed. Sebastian and Raol soon understood our interests The day started with Guanajuatos history, walk, mummy museum, mines. Then a beautiful drive through the mountains, stop at villages,churches, cemeteries, silver mine, and a lovely local lunch at a nice restaurant in the hills. They had so much knowelwdge about history,and we also discussed/learned about Mexican and Norwegian politics, work, and cultural behavior. Both gave og themselves and that means a lot extra to us. Gave us a day with lovely memories we wont forget. They were calm, relaxed, curious nad it was obvious that they loved their job.

What a nice day and what an awesome ride we had in the city and the mountains of Guanajuato! Sebastian was our guide for the day and he was just perfect. My boyfriend and I shared an ATV and we were following Sebastian on his motorcycle. This guy really knows and loves the area. I highly recommend this experience to visit Guanajuato from every angle ! Totally safe and totally thrilling !

We enjoyed our ride with Cruz immensely. Neither of us is an experienced rider but the horses were gentle and easy to handle (though my mount, Pompeyo, was occasionally a bit spirited and wanted to pull off to the side to munch some leaves. A nice little challenge for me to steer him back on course!) The scenery was spectacular and Cruz was an excellent guide. You do need at least one Spanish speaker in your group, but the explanations about how to mount and control the horses are very brief and simple. (Mostly Cruz trusts his guess not to be idiots!) The delicious homemade popsicles were a treat, as was the nice cold brew, enjoyed horseback, to celebrate the end of the ride!

Raul is the best! We had a spectacular bike trip. We are a family of four (kids aged 18 and 14). He and Sebastian picked us up in town and drove us to the starting point. It was one of the best things we did on our trip. The mountains are beautiful. We rode on a dirt road along a dry river bed. It’s mostly downhill. We stopped at a small mining village and saw an old mine and church. Raul caters the trip to your abilities. He knows a ton about the area and knows how to craft a great trip. We then biked in the city and even in the tunnels. Raul was not rushing things, he was really focused on just having a great time. It’s clear he enjoys biking and what he does. Be sure to have a big breakfast and think about bringing some snacks. Sebastian drove the SUV behind us and he was great too. What a fantastic trip. I would suggest using Raul’s company for any activity they do like hiking, ATV, rappelling, etc. Thanks Raul!

I went on the ATV tour, and the horse ride on different days. It was really cool to see Guanajuato from a different perspective. The guides are very professional and they make sure to keep you as safe as possible. Follow their instructions and you should be fine. These tours are a completely different experience from most of the other tours yiu can take in Guanajuato, so they should be considered in addition to any other information tours you do. They are a bit pricey, but it requires a lot to take good care of the horses and the ATV's. They do take good care of the horses and they are well trained. I've never ridden a horse before, but they they really helped me understand the process.

My husband and I had THE BEST experience on this tour! It was seriously the best horseback tour I've ever been on. Our guides were fantastic, very considerate and attentive. We rode for about 2.5 hours through villages and beautiful open range countryside all the way to the top of El Cerro de La Bufa for incredible panoramic views looking down over Guanajuato. On the way down we stopped at a small village tienda for drinks and popsicles. Our horses were the most well trained horses I've ever ridden! They listened to every little cue and were totally bombproof on the trail even when we encountered vehicles and loose dogs. You could tell they were loved and very well taken care of. If we return to Guanajuato I would book this tour again!

My husband and I are living in Guanajauto for one month and we kept hearing about Raul being an incredible guide. We hiked Cerro de la Bufa with him yesterday and were not disappointed. He is very knowledgeable about the history of these incredible hills. We loved the hike but having Raul was just extra fun! Truly a highlight of our stay. Raul picked us up and delivered us back home, so easy! I would not recommend hiking Cerro de la Bufa without him.

We were picked up at our hotel no problem. We had no idea how to ride horses but after a quick lesson we hit the trail and things went pretty smoothly. Once we got comfortable with the horses and out into the mountains it was really nice. Great scenery. Cruz was an excellent guide and helped us get some great pictures. I would highly recommend it.

Fabulous experience! Loved every moment. Our driver, fellow riders and our guide were helpful, friendly, safety conscious and knowledgeable. The ranch was gorgeous, the horses well trained and groomed and tack was well cared for. The views on our ride were spectacular. And a great little popsicle snack snd beverage on our return. Lots of photos and videos were taken. I loved everything about my week in Guanajuato but today was “the best day ever”! Thank you

A group of four of us took the private balloon tour and it was incredible. This was a bucket list item for my wife and we all had a great time. Easy to communicate ahead of time on WhatsApp. They picked us up on time at our hotel and it was fun watching them assemble and inflate the balloon. Really terrific experience and the onboard captain was really engaging. Would highly recommend! Gracias!

Great walk with our guide across the mountain. We saw a lot, this was sport and we had nice stories about the region. I recommend.
