Wonderful City Tour and Tour Guide (Sergio Novia)
I thoroughly enjoyed this city tour. My guide, Sergio Novia, was fantastic. Safe driver. Commodious automobile. Highly knowledgeable about his city (he was born and raised in Guadalajara so he is authentically knowledgeable). His enthusiasm and willingness to go the extra mile added value to my experience. He also provided my photos of sights "back in the day" with background info to bring alive locations that we saw on the tour. I would highly recommend Sergio as a Guadalajara tour guide!

Excellent tour and a real bargain!
What a excellent tour! And a real bargain at about 40 bucks. Our guide, Carmen, was just the best. Narrated the tour both in Spanish and English. The stops along the way where well thought out. The tequila distillery tour was, I think, the height of the trip. What's to do in the town of Tequila. And make sure you sample the tequila ice cream!

Tequila tasting, Jose Cuervo and town of Tequila
What an excellent way to spend a day if you are in Guadalajara. Jose, our tour guide picked me up from the hotel at the said time and after picking up other tourists we were on our way. Jose went out of the way to accommodate me since I was the only non spanish speaking person on the tour. Never felt for a moment that I was being ignored. The trip started with a visit to one of the local tequila factories and since it was not that busy we got a great tour, got to know all about tequila, tasted some awesome samples and were on our way to the town of Tequila. What an amazing place. The tour of Jose Cuervo factory was really good as well. Samples were abundant, tried some stuff that is either not available where I am or stuff that I would not think of buying. Overall great experience. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent city tour provided by experienced guide
Norberto took us on the private city tour of Guadalajara and Tlaquepaque on Thursday, May 2nd. He was very knowledgeable. He provided us with the history of the city, background on various neighborhoods and described the architectural styles used on homes, churches and government buildings.

We had a great experience with Norberto showing us around his city. He did a great job of adapting the tour to our interests and needs. He was knowledgeable on a variety of topics. The vehicle was comfortable, cool and clean

Artisanal distillery & Jose Cuervo tour
My brother and I went on the one day trip to Tequila, visiting an artisanal distillery and Jose Cuervo. We traveled in a huge Sprinter van, which was comfortable. When we got to a roadside stop, the tour guide told us we were eating here because the restaurant in Tequila didn't have space for us. So we ate street tacos for lunch. This was disappointing. Tequila is a nice little town. It would have been nice to eat there and have more time to explore. The distilleries were great. Lots of sampling and more than sufficient time spent there.

Chris, Anthony and Lamar want to thank Carmen and Edgar for being wonderful stewards during our Tequila tour on Wednesday, 21Feb2024! Carmen was incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming, and made our tour fun and entertaining! Edgar's driving and navigation skills are top notch and he made our trip comfortable and as efficient as possible given all the traffic coming back. Both Carmen and Edgar were professional and engaging and we would recommend your tour company and Carman and Edgar to anyone visiting Guadalajara!

A view of and taste of Tequila.
Hector was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. He planned our tour around what we wanted to do and see. He spoke English very well and explained how Tequila should properly be consumed and enjoyed. The tour van was comfortable. We were made to feel welcomed. The town of Tequila was interesting. The distillery was very nice and the tequila was great. Whereever we went we felt safe. Even though we clearly did not appear native to the area we never felt out of place. We left with a much better opinion of Mexico and the Mexican people than we brought with us. Thank you Hector!

Best Tequila Tuesday🇲🇽
We had an amazing day with Dany & Ronny. These guys know how to look after their customer from not just explaining thoroughly about the tour but also showing you the real cultural experience. Trip was good, guide had good English. Traffic getting back in is busy and they don’t drop you back at your same pickup location we needed to get a taxi.

Get out of city to see a nice little lakeside town

Just great to walk the streets and see another way of living in Jalisco by the Great Lake. José Luis is great in giving us historical information on the area. Along the way you’ll visit a ranch, have a meal in a lakeside restaurant and stop by a local candy store.

Good

Loved that they picked and dropped us off at our hotel. Lunch/early dinner was at a place of their choosing and the food wasn’t that great and you had to pay for it yourself. Therefore, I wish they would allow us more time at either Chapala or Ajijic and allow us to choose where we want to eat. The van was very comfortable. I would also recommend they take out the stop at the Vicente Fernandez store/ranch. as it’s not the tours decision but rather the personnel at the ranch decides if they will allow visitors on a particular day.

Both Chapala and Ajijic are must see places! The lake is beautiful and was a welcome relief from the city. The place we were taken to eat was right on the water and we went on a little boat ride straight from there.

Tour guides were driver Edgar and Carmen and they were excellent. Pick up was prompt and they were friendly and professional. Information throughout the route was interesting and helpful.

Tour started with a quick trip to Tres Potrillos store owned by Vicente Fernandez then Ajijic with enough time to explore the tiny town and a tequila tasting. Followed by boat trip in Jocotepec and lunch on the lake front. Last we went to Chapala and had plenty of time to take in the boardwalk.

Overall excellent experience and would highly recommend this company and these guides.

Could have been better

Pros: They pick you up and drop you off at your location. Our guide was knowledgeable and flexible. The two towns are beautiful.

Cons: The tour description doesn’t say anything about pick up location neither does the email confirmation. I booked it at night and couldn’t get hold of anyone. They called me around 8 am to get my address…the stop at the ranch is useless. Access to almost everything is closed to tourists. You just see some horses from behind fences…I was the only English speaking person on the tour. I had to ask the guide several times to speak in English too. The restaurant that they took us for lunch is nothing special. They could just give us time in Ajijic to eat at the restaurant of our choice.

We had a fantastic experience visiting Lake Chapala and Ajijic. Our guide Rony was very friendly and knowledgeable. Took his time giving us extensive explanations in local history. Transportation was also very comfortable and safe. I would strongly recommend this tour when you visit Guadalajara.

A must do in Guadalajara!!

AMAZING!! This tour was sooo much fun. We learned a lot, we saw a lot and we left very happy that we booked with them. Hector, our guide was super knowledgeable, helpful and funny. And Sergio, our driver, is an AWESOME photographer :)

Hector our tour guide and Daniel our driver were THE BEST!!! They went above and beyond to make our trip to Ajijic, lake chapala and restaurant TOP Notch! The trip was super safe! I highly recommend it! .. if you’re iffy about booking it don’t let your fear prevent you from creating such wonderful memories with friends or family.
