      The Very Best
The very best tour we have ever been on. Antonio is both delightful and knowledgeable about Sayulita and the surrounding area. Great transportation to and from Sayulita along with probably our best meal of the entire trip prepared for us on a beautiful hidden beach. The grilled red snapper and shrimp were just so perfect as we relaxed on the beach after the tour of Sayulita. It takes the entire day but it’s just so worth it. The tour is limited to just two couples (we had a fun and extremely interesting couple from Texas) so sign up now. Don’t miss this tour!

      Sayulto and BBQ
Antonio spent time with us in Sayulto and then gave us time to shop. The best part of the trip was the secluded beach with umbrellas, table and chairs and a wonderful BBQ meal included fruit, bbq shrimp kabobs then delicious fish and sides. Wonderful day and Antonio was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I will do it again. There was myself and 2 of my girlfriends.

      A MUST book tour
This was truly one of the highlights from our trip! Jose was an amazing tour guide. From the fruit stand stop, to the main square at Sayulita and then to the most beautiful secluded beach area, it was all phenomenal. But the true star of it all was Jose cooking for us. All I can say is WOW!!! This is a MUST do tour!!!! The best of both worlds, some culture and then relaxation. Do not hesitate and just book this tour with Jose!

Amazing Experience with a Top Tier Guide in a Beautiful Area of Mexico
This was an absolutely amazing experience. My wife suggested this tour based on the previous written reviews and a YouTube review and it far exceeded our expectations. Antonio is a fantastic guide that explained the history, culture, and traditions of this region. The small group setting (5 total) makes this a mostly private tour at an exceptional price. The Patzcuaritos beach was incredible and the Zarandeado meal was our favorite meal on the entire vacation. We had a great time during our entire week in Mexico but this day spent with Antonio ranks number one for most enjoyable experience.

      What an amazing experience
Tony was so super knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We did this tour with our 3.5 year old and he made sure we all felt comfortable and unrushed. The only thing better than him was him food 😉. Will recommend him to any and all!

      THE BEST EXCURSION HANDS DOWN!
Truly I cannot express just how special this day trip is. Every little thing was magical! From the moment we met up with Jose Antonio & Yahir, we were made to feel special in every way. These awesome gents are so cool, engaging, knowledgeable, and just a total joy to spend the day with. We were taken to a funky, roadside farm stand for some candy tasting & little shopping, then off to the surfer town of Sayulita. After just a few hours there I can see why so many people want to permanently stay. It's so funky, hippy, old-school... We spent time at the hippy & local artisan market, had a shot (or 2) at Luna's Cafe, explored the town, and just enjoyed the good vibes of the locals. From here, we went to our very own secluded beach outside of town, and through, what felt like the jungle of coastal Mexico, we hiked a short distance to the most magical spot where we had private massages and our own, little camp spot for the day. JA & Yahir grilled us up the most incredible, traditionally prepared snapper, shrimp skewers, rice, beans, appetizers, cold drinks and so much more! I cannot brag about this trip enough! Oh, and did I mention the sweetest beach dog in the whole world? What a special little treat for a group of animal lovers! This day trip is a must-do when visiting PV and Sayulita. Thank you so much, Jose Antonio for making our day so very special.

Beautiful town and amazing secluded beach
My husband and I were totally spoiled as the only two on this tour. From information about Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita to the absolutely amazing lunch on the beach, Tony delivered! The meal he made on the beach was (no joke) the best meal I've ever had! We, also, booked the natural springs and massage tour on a separate day and I'm so thankful we did! Tony has created a magical tour company and has an awesome crew of guides!

      Beautiful unpopulated beaches
The beaches were pristine and beautiful, there are several close by (walking distance) that barely had anyone on them.

The most meaningful experience of our entire vacation
How to rephrase what everyone else has said…this will undoubtably be the highlight of our 10 days in PV. A fantastic study in contrast - from exploring the vibrant and intriguing chaos of the streets of Sayulita to suddenly and in only a few minutes being transported to a massive beach with less than 20 people on it with preset chairs and umbrellas and to be treated like royalty with an incredibly diverse and delicious meal by Antonio traditionally prepared on the same beach. He is gracious, immensely knowledgeable, well spoken, and a joy to converse with. To have him join us for our royal lunch was so appreciated. And just the two of us and him. We felt so privileged and part of something meaningful. Thank you Antonio, you have made a permanent warm memory for two Canadians.

Hospitable, Memorable, Excellent Food, A Must Do
This was our second trip with Antonio, last year we went to the hot springs with him and heard about this trip to Sayulita. When we came back to PV one year later we decided to book this excursion. As expected the experience was awesome, Antonio and Sergio picked us up on time and we started our journey. The drive was comfortable and we made a stop at a local fruit stand where we got to try different fruits and Mexican candies. After that we made our way into Sayulita where we were given a short tour and then had 2 hours to explore the cities and local markets. After the 2 hours, Antonio picked us up and took us to the hidden beach where a shaded picnic spot had already been set up on the beach. Sergio was already preparing food for us and cold drinks were waiting. The beach was wonderful, empty, and the food was great. We were first given a plate filled with fruit from a local market. Then the main course came out and which consisted of shrimp skewers, red snapper that had been marinated in a variety of spices (delicious), and all the fixings to make tacos. We then spent another hour or more at the beach, swimming, hanging out, talking with our hosts. What I enjoy most about these trips with Antonio is the ease, everything is already thought about ahead of time, there is no upselling or hidden costs, just sit back and enjoy the experience. The food is great, local, and fresh, you will not be left hungry. Antonio and Sergio are very accommodating, knowledgeable, hospitable, and downright good people to be around. It’s hard to be beat the value for this trip, I will definitely be going on another one with these guys.

      Day Trip to Sayulita 10/10
Antonio and Sergio are friendly, knowledgeable, and thought of everything to make this trip a highlight of our time in Mexico. Not only are they great guides, they made a gourmet meal for us on the beach near Sayulita. A day of absolute ease and relaxation. Last year, we booked their hot springs tour and it was a delight to reunite with Antonio and Sergio for this adventure. Thank you so much!

Amazing, exclusive tour of Sayulita (and surrounding area)!
Amazing local spots and views (especially the remote beach!). Tony was an awesome guide/host for my aunt and I! He was very kind and knowledgeable.. he explained the traditions and customs of the area and this was especially helpful for us as first time visitors. He made the experience feel even more unique and was very thoughtful in what he provided. It felt very exclusive and we felt more like locals than tourists. I could not recommend this tour (or any of his others) more!! We would do it again. (:

      Highlight of our trip!
We had an amazing experience with Antonio. He picked us up 5 minutes from our hotel and drove approx 45 minutes to our first stop. During the drive he had beverages available and the vehicle was cool and comfortable. Antonio shared the schedule for the day and spoke about the area we were travelling through. Our first stop we had the opportunity to sample different fruits and Mexican candy and were given time to shop. Next we arrived in Sayulita 10 minutes later. Antonio gave us the lay of the land and took us to his favourite taco stand. My husband ate a taco after we walked the town and found it to be delicious. We had about 2 hours to explore on our own. Sayulita was charming and vibrant. Next Antonio took us to a secluded beach where we were able to explore while he set up a table, chairs and umbrellas. As we explored and went into the water Antonio prepared first a snack of fruit and then tacos and finally rice, beans and fish and shrimp. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious! The day was the highlight of our visit to Mexico. We highly recommend this tour. Thank you Antonio!

The Best Excursion from Puerto Vallarta!!
This excursion is a must-do! Sayulita is a quaint little town, a surfer paradise with a hippie vibe. Antonio is totally bilingual and is eager to share his love of Mexico with visitors. We were provided with a lot of information about the area we were going to visit and he didn’t hesitate to answer my weird questions. The food!!! it felt like we ate all day - you definitely won’t go hungry. We were able to sample many different fruit concoctions at the roadside food stand. In Sayulita we stopped at a taco place for a bite to eat as a group, and then had ample time to walk around town in our own little family group, exploring all the nooks and crannies, visiting merchants, the beach and getting a taste of the Sayulita vibe. Then Antonio picked us up and off. We went to a quieter beach, where the waves were more gentle than the surfers beach. We basically had the place to ourselves at the beach. Antonio fed us the most wonderful meal: fruit, tacos, avocado, barbecued fish, tortillas, rice, shrimp skewer, etc. it was a full day, and worth the time and cost.

Antonio was by far one of the BEST hosts we've ever had in Puerto Vallarta for an excursion. I was pleasantly surprised and fortunate to find this phenomenal Airbnb Experience a few days before. We were drawn to the mention of “hot springs & massages” in the description, which sounded relaxing and much-needed toward the end of our trip. Antonio went above & beyond and picked us up at the Airbnb we were staying at the morning of, and even provided us coffee before we started our ride toward the first part of our excursion, which was to a local market to pick up ingredients for our Mexican grill out. Antonio is extraordinarily knowledgeable and shared with us so much of the foods, culture, and history, that is made our 1.5 hour drive fly by. Toward the drive to our hot springs destination, we got to see the rural side of Puerto Vallarta and learned a lot about the history from Antonio. When we reached our destination, he showed us around and found us a couple hot springs. While we enjoyed the relaxing waters, he made us drinks, appetizers and grilled the entire time. We were thoroughly impressed with his grilling - and yes, it was delicious! After the hot springs, we headed for the massages on the beach. When we reached our last destination, we were already relaxed, but even MORE relaxed after getting our massages. After that, he dropped us back off at our Airbnb. Definitely a 5-star experience, and worth checking out when you visit PV!

Thank you guys so much! We had such a great time! Jose Antonio was our tour guide and was very friendly. On our way to the hot springs we stopped by the Mexican market to pick up our fresh ingredients for our lunch. We got to walk around the small neighborhood. After that we drive 30 mins out to the hot springs. There were so many pools to choose from! We were the first people there so we had the whole place to ourselves. Jose Antonio, and his coworkers brought us snacks to enjoy as we relaxed in the hot springs. They sliced and prepped different types of seasonal fruit. Later they prepared a great lunch for us. We had an amazing overall experience. Jose and his crew were gave us complementary water, drinks, and chocolate after our relaxing massage by the beach. The beach they took us to was beautiful. I would highly recommend booking a tour with them and I plan on telling everyone I know going to PV to as well!

We just returned from a wonderful, relaxing excursion to the hot springs followed by a massage on the beach in Bucerias. Sergio picked up us and another couple on time and we began our journey to the hot springs. On the way we stopped at a small town to gather fresh fruits and vegetables from a local shop. We then toured a tortilla factory and were able to sample them as soon as they came off the line. We were all able to dip in the hot springs while Sergio and Edgar began preparing lunch. They both provided outstanding service bringing us some fruits and vegetables on our own separate plates as we continued relaxing in the hot springs. A short while later they produced fresh guacamole and chips. The guacamole was the best we’ve ever had! The main course was chicken and/or steak with grilled vegetables that were delicious. There was so much food available. Make sure you bring a hefty appetite to enjoy everything Sergio and Edgar provided. Once we finished eating there was some time to explore the grounds as Sergio and Edgar packed up. We headed to Bucerias next and had an hour long massage while waves were splashing on the beach. Very relaxing. Sergio delivered us back to PV relaxed and with some wonderful memories from an amazing day. I would recommend this excursion to anyone that is looking for something that isn’t “touristy”, likes the outdoors, and enjoys fresh made, delicious food.

Antonio was a great guide, he literally thought of everything. He had coffee for us in the morning. He shared so much about the towns we were traveling through and you could tell he knew the history of the areas. The whole experience was the highlight of our trip. From the ride to the fresh food. The guacamole he prepared honestly might have been the best I've ever had. The hot springs really are a hidden gem. It was so nice to visit a place that you can see all the local people enjoying with their families as well. We had a pool to ourselves and it was absolutely refreshing. The long car ride was perfect for a nap between the pools and the massage. The massage on the beach was incredible as well. It was the perfect relaxing day. Totally a must do.

Wow! Stop scrolling, seriously! Just book it.

If you want more details…. Here it goes.

This was an “amazing” experience. Starting with upon meeting with Antonio, he picked us up (at meeting location) and the vehicle was very confortable and with air conditioning (I have done other experiences and there is no air conditioning, so this made me very happy and it made the experience very relaxing). We went to a local market where we got ingredients, went to a church to take some cool pics and then tortilla factory, story time! And we got to eat fresh hot tortillas with cheese.

He then drove us to the hot springs, where we saw a lot of the local cultures and understood more history.

When we got to the hot springs, I got on the water and clearly didn’t want to get off. The water was just ahhhmazing, perfect temperature. Within a few minutes he brought us all a fresh lemonade with mineral water and shortly after a platter of fruits. This made me feel like I was in heaven.

He made us lunch; grilled beef (sooooo tender and yummy) and chicken with delicious veggies and salsas. We did of course eat it with freshly made tortillas and lime (or maybe it’s limons). Ohhhh I almost forgot he also gave us a delicious guacamole with chips that was prepared while we relax on the water.

Well when it was time to go, I felt like a child, I didn’t want to leave but all good things come to an end, or do they?

We got back on the car and then we drove back and what a great way to end the relaxing trip, with an hour massage while listening to the waves of the ocean. My body really felt in heaven, pampered and super happy.

My only feedback is that I wish I would have brought my whole family on this experience but they didn’t come with me to Mexico 🤣😁.

Sooo in summary… just book it. You won’t be disappointed. Your body will be super happy and pampered.

This was the excursion I was looking forward to the most and I was not let down at all! After stopping in little San Juan to buy fresh ingredients, our guide Antonio drove us to the natural hot springs up in the Sierra Madres. While we soaked in the bathwater-warm, mineral rich water, he first made us a platter of fresh fruit and veggies, followed by fresh-made guacamole, fresh lemonade, then grilled chicken and steak with grilled fruit and veg. It was, to this point, the best meal I've had in Mexico. All that wonderfulness was followed by an hour-long massage on the beach to the sound of waves for everyone on the tour. That made it the best tour not just of this trip, but ever!

I accidentally booked the wrong date for this experience - totally and completely my fault. I only realized it when Antonio got in touch that he had arrived to pick us up! He was so so gracious despite me making such a large error, luckily he was able to make the next day work (the day I meant to book). I am so glad he did! I echo what others say in the prior reviews - a very charming and delicious experience, and the massage was divine. We had dinner reservations back in PV and also wanted to shop for souvenirs, and Antonio was nice enough to bring us to his recommended souvenir shopping location, which was also very close to the restaurant. Thank you again Antonio for a unique experience and for being so understanding and accommodating!

Absolutely incredible! Our wonderful guide took us through parts of Mexico that you wouldn’t normally see on a typical vacation. He’s such an incredible host and takes you to a peaceful and prized possession of Mexico - the hot springs. There he cooks an authentic Mexican meal and to top it off he coordinates a perfect beach massage to end the excursion. If you’re looking for an excursion it a life time, then this is it!

Be sure to bring a bathing suit and a change of clothes. Other than that, our experience with Antonio was one we will forever remember! Highly recommend if you want to see Mexico in all its beauty.

My parents and I came to Puerto Vallarta during my spring break from teaching. I was looking for a relaxing excursion for us to enjoy during our visit and I came upon this tour. It fit what we were looking for and had excellent reviews, so I knew we had to book it. The tour did not disappoint, even my dad loved it and he can be hard to impress at times. First, we stopped in a small town to get some fresh produce and fresh tortillas, then it’s off to the hot springs. It’s a bumpy ride to the hot springs, but once you arrive and get into a pool everything melts away and your body enters a state of relaxation. While there, the guides prepare platters of fruit and limeade for you to enjoy as you soak. Next up, is freshly made guacamole and chips. Once all the meats and veggies are grilled, we all sat at a table and enjoyed the delicious feast and I mean feast. There was so much amazing food to enjoy. After eating, it was time to head to the beach to get a massage. The massages happen right on the beach under awnings, so you can hear the waves and feel the breeze. My one recommendation is to wear something that is easy to remove such as a dress because you underdress on the table or standing next to the table before you get one it. My mom had capris which were a bit challenging to take off and get back on while on the table. Overall, we were extremely impressed and would definitely recommend this tour to others. It was a great day in Puerto Vallarta.

This was the best day trip I've been on. Antonio really knows his country and shares this knowledge on the drive through some of the most beautiful farmlands and nature has to offer. The hot springs are in a very rustic setting in the jungle. Our lunch was delicious, Mexican barbecue with local vegetables and delicious steak and chicken. the fresh fruit salad was made with mouth watering tropical fruits that was a first time tasting for me. We then drove to a beautiful beach where they were waiting for us to have a massage with the waves crashing 10'from the tent. I can't recommend Antonio enough, he is personable, spoke great English and made you feel instantly comfortable.
