Great tour that covered a lot of area and places of interest. Miguel, our tour guide , provided a lot of information about Puerto Vallarta over the years with photos from the past and showed the same area now. Enjoyed our restaurant for lunch followed by the tequila tour and tastings. I especially appreciated the time Miguel took communicating with colleagues in an attempt to recover my credit card that had been left behind. Special thanks also to Arturo. Only problem seemed to be that at times it was difficult to hear Miguel on the bus.

The driver followed all of the road rules and never took risks. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and provide lots of interesting facts and history regarding the city and towns.

We visited several places, but some stood out more than others. The malecon was extremely nice and beautiful. The shops provided a place to purchase nicknacks. The tequila Distillery was another nice place. And the place we had lunch was delicious and affordable.

Just experienced one heck of a personal tour today of Puerto Vallarta. The tour guide, Miguel, was fantastic with his knowledge and experience telling us the history and giving us plenty of time to explore. He gave us insider tips on what to expect and how to shop. He's fluent in English and Spanish. The driver, Alfredo, is very experienced with navigating the busy streets. He's a very safe driver. This is a personal tour in the sense that the group only consists of 6 people making this tour very enjoyable. The full size van is the Mercedes version. Very comfortable to ride in. I highly highly recommend this tour. Went to the Tequila museum, authentic silver shop, scenic routes, downtown. You get the authentic experience you won't get anywhere else. Great company to deal with from start to finish.

Forget that you will visit Puerto Vallarta. We only saw a piece of the promenade and the church. The rest of the trip was only related to shopping in friendly stores. First, a gift shop and a comment do not buy silver. Why? Because the next stop is ... a jewelry store (prices tourist earrings with opal size about 1.5cm -7500 pesos. Then a leather goods store (strap prices only $ 25) Then drive to the distillery and show you one agawa and distillation barrels. Then you will try Tequila and what .... shopping ( 0.5l bottle of liqueur-29dollars) Then dinner in a friend's Mexican restaurant (no Mexican food), then you can buy Mexican ceramics or a cover. End of trip. Return to hotel

Miguel showed us the city the outlying country side and small villages. We stopped at a local market and several photo stops we liked. We enjoyed a unique and delicious lunch in the mountains by a stream. Our grandchildren swam In The river. We were never rushed. We learned old and new history and culture and the plant life in the rain forest. It was time well spent.

I love reading reviews, so when I began planning our trip to Puerto Vallarta Trip Advisor was very helpful. I read about so many things prior to us heading out.

I wanted us to do a tour within the first day or two of us getting into town, so I began reading a bunch on City tours. I have to say some of them made me a little nervous, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was a great day!

We were picked up at our resort a little late, but that was okay because we were on vacation and planned to be on the tour all day. Our tour guide Adan made it fun. He had a great personality and was funny. Our group was about 18, which made things nice. Again there is only so much you can do in one day with a good size group anyway.

Adan gave a little history on various things, explained where we were going and kept things tight. The view alone was amazing. The tequila distillery presentation and tasting were fun. The food was SPECTACULAR!!!

Gracias Adan para todo!

Disappointing. It started out picking up guests at several different hotels, with some hotels so far off the main road that it took 10-15 minutes to drive into the hotel property, do the pick up and then drive back to the main road. So if your hotel is located far from the city you’ll be on the bus for a large part of the day. And the tour bus had such poor suspension that driving over the city’s cobbled streets felt like riding in an off-road vehicle. We were in the city for only about 2 hours, consisting of about one hour driving into the city, 10 minutes along a small portion of the Malecon, 10 minutes in the cathedral, 20 minutes in a high-end jewelry shop (where the tour company gets a percentage of any sales made), and 1/2 hour at the famous Mercado (flea market). Then we drove for about 1/2 hour into the hills south of the city, stopping for photos along the outlooks to the bay and at Los Arcos, stopping for a tequila tasting at the small Mama Lucia distillery (very suspicious because this place is so remote only tours stop there), and then lunch at a El Patio in a very rural village (you pay for lunch). Due to the mistiming of overlapping tours, the restaurant had to deal with three tour groups at once and were totally unprepared for so many guests. We waited over an hour for our meal which arrived lukewarm at best. Would not recommend this tour. Your money is better spent taking a taxi into the city (500-600 pesos), explore on your own and then take Uber or taxi back to your hotel.

This was to be a full day city tour. We were picked up at our resort, north of the city, at 7:45 am but by the time we stopped at numerous other resorts, picking up and dropping off for other tours, we didn’t actually start our city tour until 10:30 am.
