- Exploration1138650 contributionsOutstanding day on the water!This private cruise was a highlight of my recent trip to Puerto Vallarta. Along with 20 other friends we cruised the waters to Los Arcos where we were able to snorkel with the equipment provided. Floating mats for laying about on the water were also a nice touch and swimming in the marine reserve felt magical. Many guests jumped into the water from the highest part of the boat and a photographer was on board to capture every moment including underwater footage of the jumps. We saw whales and rays jumping all the while enjoying the open bar, delicious food and great music on board. The crew was super friendly and attentive offering to replenish our drinks, bringing food around and doing everything to make our experience first class. It was so lovely to get out on the water and look back at the coastline, lounge on the deck and simply relax. This is a well paced excursion and I highly recommend it!Written December 1, 2024

I arrived into PV on a NCL cruise ship that started to allow passenger off the ship by 8am. Being my first time in PV, was not sure if I was able to make it to the 8:45 check in for the 9am tour.
Finding a taxi at a reasonable price took me about 15 minutes, but I later found out the city had Uber. That would have been less stressful or taken the public bus. Abraham was an excellent guide, made sure you were not loss or got stuck behind traffic. Riding an ATv through town and then up the hills around the farms in the morning was fun. I had a perfect morning, sunny, not humid, light breeze. I can do this all day.
The zip line is operated by another company, took really good care of me and rested as I needed and went at my pace. This tour does not offer all the zip lines. There were 3 additional lines that I wished I had an opportunity to buy that would have taken me down to the river. But the ones that I went on, that was all fun, no regret.
After the zip line, There was another 1-1/2 hours of riding on the atv back to the starting point. All good.
The best part about my experience , I was the only customer and everything was at my own pace. At the end, took the 30 minutes public bus back to the cruise port.

This tour was great from start to finish. My boyfriend and I met our tour guide downtown at Estigo Tours’ shop. They showed us how to use the ATVs and from there we were off. Our tour guide took through the city and up to the mountains. The views were incredible. From there we went to the zip lining place. Our Estigo tour guide made sure to get us to the front of the line so we would have more time to ATV through the mountains. After the zip lining, which was incredible, our tour guide took us to a remote bar in the mountains where we were able to make authentic tortillas from scratch and salsa! We did a tequila tasting and grabbed a marg to drink in the springs on the river. Our guide made this tour so personalized by asking what we preferred to spend more time doing and gave us history of the city, nature and culture. We went as a couple but it’s also definitely family friendly! We had two children (maybe 8 years old) in our zip lining group. We will be doing this tour every time we come back to PV!

We wanted to take a break from the pool and explore beautiful Puerto Vallarta by ATV's. The communication with Estigo from before we even arrived to Mexico was top notch! We decided to book through them and were even more impressed once we arrived to their facility. Very welcoming, informative and super clean.
We set out on our adventure with the two most amazing tour guides you can have! Cant begin to tell you how Abraham(Lincoln) and Waldo(George) - (haha my nicknames for them)were and they really made this the most memorable and fun experience. From the 400 photos they took during our ride, to insuring our safety by stopping traffic, to just being warm, informative and all around class acts made this just an unforgettable time for us with our kids! It was the most fun we had while we herein PV and when we return, which will be very soon we will do another ATV ride with them for sure! We were so happy to hear stories, see the culture and learn about this beautiful place with beautiful people! Thanks guys!!!!

The professionalism of Estigo and of the people who made this such a fun experience was top-notch. Armando and Carlos gave a thorough overview of using the ATV (good for this first-time driver), and were incredibly attentive during the entire ride through a busy city and up into the mountains, making sure all of us were safe and staying together.
We stopped at a local bar/restaurant named Abuelita's in the heart of the mountain, and participated in tequila tasting and making our own tortillas from scratch. The tasting and tortillas were unexpected surprises and Mariela was hilarious and also informative in leading these events.
The ziplining was led by Omar, Anita, and Luis. They were very thorough and clear in giving instruction and making sure we all knew how to brake, etc. Also very patient during the hiking parts between ziplining, and provided plenty of opportunity for water and rest. They were also professional, funny, interactive, and made us all feel relaxed.
Don't miss out on this tour from Estigo, you don't want to skip this one! It's well worth the money and time.

Had the opportunity to go on the ATV-Zip Line Combo with Estigo Tours while on our honeymoon and had an incredible experience. The time slot/activity we chose led to my wife and me being the only ones on the activity, though the team made sure it was a great time. Professional and knowledgeable, they led us through the roads of the main town and into some of the smaller villages prior to the zip line tour which we highly recommend.
From there, we drove through the villages and were brought to a small restaurant for a meal, tequila tasting and the chance to make homemade tortillas (a must try). The staff was kind and engaging, serving some very well made food! Overall, we would highly recommend anyone try the ATV experience with Estigo tours if they have the chance.

The tour was pretty good overall. You get to see a lot of parts of PV that are off the beating path. The tour guide Abraham was fun and makes it a good time. It is a really well priced tour for what you get, and they are able to customize pricing if not all people in your group are interested in the zipline.
There are a few things I wish I knew ahead of time: a) the zipline is with a third party b) they stop for lunch at a great local spot and it is an added expense (higher priced that most PV lunch stops) c) more ability to really open up the ATVs and get some speed going. Tour was pretty tame adrenaline wise

This is THE TOP experience in Puerto Vallarta! My husband and I really enjoyed riding throughout the city and mountains with our guide, Abraham, who was able to get photos and video of us while we drove! We were able to see and meet many people on our ride including a tequila tasting which was icing on the cake.
The zip line experience was wonderful. The views were breathtaking! We were so happy that we booked the combo experience because we felt as though we really got to see the best of Puerto Vallarta.
Gonzalo, of Estigo Tours, even recommended a Sunday Brunch spot that we really enjoyed. I will definitely book with Estigo Tours again!

My wife and I chose this tour as we wanted to be adventurous and see some of the spectacular Puerto Vallerta views and culture. This four hour tour far exceeded our expectations! We received top notch customer service and professionalism from the entire Estigo team. Carlos was awesome at helping us to change our booking after an unexpected change in our itinerary. Armando was an incredible tour guide all along the way! In fact, he even took pictures and video of us throughout the trip, and a link to all of them was emailed to us shortly thereafter. That was so nice not having to worry about taking pics of our own, though we still got in a few along the way with his help. The trip was highlighted by the incredible PV and scenic countryside views all along the way. We travelled through a variety terrains, but there was nothing like seeing the magnificent mountains and hills all throughout. The zip-lines were fun, and our guides Kevin and Omar went at our own pace and also gave us some history along the way. Our final stop was Rancho mi Abuelo, a ranch that included a full bar, restaurant, tequila-tasting, and salsa and tortilla making (all of which we really enjoyed)! We had the best anejo tequila I've ever tasted, Don Chendo.
In summary, Armando, our guide, was so awesome that we booked a second coast/jungle tour with him 2 days later. A big thanks to the entire Estigo team for making these tours 2 of the best and most memorable experiences of our lives!

We had such a great time on this tour. Our guide took us to some remote parts of Puerto Vallarta, where we got to get away from the tourist trap spots. We went up the mountainside where we saw absolutely majestic views. The ziplining was a great experience that I highly recommend! We ended the tour taking the ATV's back down the mountain, where the views were even better because we were able to see from atop the mountain. It was my first time riding an ATV and our guide (Abraham) was great with explaining things and providing a great experience! I highly recommend asking for Abraham if you can.

We did the ATV-Zip Line combo tour in Puerto Vallarta and it was AMAZING! First we rode our ATVs through the cobble stone streets of the city with our guides Angel and Abraham. This gave us an unprecedented perspective of the different scenery, architecture, landmarks, people, etc. Then we took our ATVs on dirt roads out of the city, and up into the jungle of the San Madre Mountains where we eventually arrived at Canopy Park. The Zip Lines here were much better than I expected! Zip Lining 500 ft (in some cases) above the valley floor and jungle below was a thrilling experience! After that, we stopped at a little bar in the middle of the jungle for some refreshments and a snack. If you are visiting Puerto Vallarta, I would 100% recommend this combo tour! This is a MUST DO tour, and I plan on doing it again the next time I visit PV in the future.

Can I wear sandals or do we have to have tennis shoes?

We wore tennis shoes, but I can't see a problem with sandals. You will do some walking around depending on the tour you are taking and you may find it better to wear shoes that protect your feet some.
