- Mobile6100425785500Best food tour in PV!Edgar was an AMAZING guide. The food we had was great, but the history and cultural information was priceless. Edgar is the best!
- liz m00Excellent food tour!!Jo our tour guide was excellent!! Very informative and all stops were excellent! SO happy we booked this!!!!
- frizzles1600Awesome Food Tour (w/gluten free!)We absolutely loved this tour!! Our guide was great! Our group was small which we loved. I have Celiac Disease and every food location was notified and provided gluten free alternatives as needed. Our guide Miel was awesome. She taught us so much about the history and culture of the food that we were eating. HIGHLY recommend!!!
- Maria C00Fantastic tourAmazing experience! Al was an excellent guide and the food was incredible. It was a great variety as well, not just tacos :D HIGHLY recommend!
- 251gild00Fantastic and exceeded expectationsAfter visiting PV over 20 years I did a good tour to get an inside view of the town. This tour was great - do t eat breakfast - 7 tacos was so fulfilling. Highly recommended for new and old visitors to PV. Chris was a great host!
- shari68200So Good!Loved this food tour! I’ve been a few food tours in different cities, but never have I been on one with SO MUCH food. And all of it great, and small little places too that I likely would have passed by. Honestly, probably the best deal in PV. We had a small group and Joanna, our tour guide was great. Would recommend this to anyone who loves to eat and wants to learn about the city and its history.
- SLFWashington_DC00LOVED the downtown food tour with guide, MielBecause our travel plans were cancelled several times we needed to reschedule with the tour operator on three occasions and each time they were very pleasant and helpful. Although we certainly loved all the food and had fun walking around the lively Zona Romantica, what made our tour extra special was our guide, Miel. This young woman is so vivacious, so passionate about her culture, and so respectful of everyone and everything around her that I just have to smile when I think about her even now! She is a very engaging teacher and was equally accessible to all members of our group. She made everything we did fun while ensuring that we also learned some valuable lessons about Mexican history and culture. It is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon and we highly recommend participating in this tour!

- G J00Fantastic tour! Thanks, EdgarIt was an absolute pleasure touring with Edgar! He was so personable and engaging. The places we visited were absolutely delicious; I was completely satisfied with the flavors and portions of everything. In fact, I really started getting full about halfway through, haha. But really enjoyed myself!

- LorraineNC00Wonderful experience around BuceriasHi- my friend and I went on an evening 5.30-9.30pm taco food tour around Bucerias with guide, Erik. I. I cannot speak highly enough of this tour. Erik guided us around different restaurants around Bucerias where we were given tacos and drinks . Erik gave us a history lesson along the way and the different ingredients used in both the tacos and drinks. We sampled many different foods and flavours and a choice of taco ingredients. The quality of the food was excellent and the establishments were all welcoming by staff. It was a real joy to walk around Bucerias and see places that only locals know. Erik put us at our ease and was very personable and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble to make this tour enjoyable for us. It was my friend’s birthday that day and I had contacted Vallarta tours to inform them of this. On our first stop, Erik brought out a chocolate birthday cake that was enjoyed by our small group. An experience never to be forgotten.
- Tracy04300Fun and deliciousThoroughly enjoyed this tour. Homero was friendly and took us to some great taco places in PV that we would have never tried otherwise. The ingredients were fresh and the tacos were delicious. I recommend coming hungry - over the 3 hours, we had 4-5 tacos, a fresh fruit drink, a piece of high-end chocolate, ice cream, and an adult beverage. All was delicious. It was fun riding around PV, and the bikes could handle the bumpy cobblestones the few times that no bike path or smoother concrete was available. It was hot this time of year, but Homero kept us supplied with plenty of water and bathroom stops as needed.

An amazing way to start a Puerto Vallarta vacation! I came with my girlfriend and we were super lucky that the other person in our group didn’t show up so it was essentially a private tour with Chris. Good food, good drinks, and good conversation. Felt like we really got to know the city and specifically the romantic zone better and understand some big traditions here. Don’t eat before because you will be fed! And despite having a good amount of drinks/shots we never felt tipsy/drunk because we were eating and walking throughout.

We had such a fun tour with Luis our guide. There was plenty of food (tacos) and drinks (mezcal) along the way! Don’t hesitate to book this tour with friends or by yourself, and you will likely make new friends along the way!

We took this tour on the recommendation of a colleague and we very glad we did. Chris, our tour guide, was awesome! He really did a good job giving us information on the restaurants we were visiting with lots of great backstory on the owners/families that ran all the places we visited. He also did a great job explaining the differences between the types of alcohol produced in the region and why these are culturally significant for the people of PV and Mexico. All the different drinks and bites we got were unreal! The only sad thing was there are so many more great ‘Chris endorsed’ bars and restaurants we didn’t try. I guess we’ll have to come back for another tour on our next visit to PV!

This tour is a must- do when in PV! LUIS ALBA rocks! His knowledge about everything agave was simply incredible. Every place he took us to was so good. I love to find the little mom and pop places when on vacation. This tour took us to just those types of places. Don't question yourself. Just book this tour!

Miel was very knowledgeable and passionate about her job! She has a love and passion for her culture. She spoke from her heart while teaching us about the culture, food and drink of PV! We had a wonderful time in her presence. Tacos and margaritas were all delicious and nothing like what we have tasted before. We left the tour with a new found love for tequila and how to properly enjoy it! We can’t wait to teach our friends the proper way to enjoy tequila!

Highly recommend!!!! The tour guide, Edgar, was so friendly and informative - he added wonderful personal notes to the tour, which made it special. He set a wonderful tone for the tour and everyone had a great time. The food and drinks were delicious - we had some great classics and also tried new things we have never had. All around, a great way to get a closer taste of true Mexican cuisine, culture & history.

We have a bachelorette party. It says max 10 adults, can we book two tours that will start around the same time? I believe we may have up to 16 guests maximum in May. Please advise.

We had a tour with Luis last Wednesday. He gave us his number to contact him & we’ve lost it. Could you pass it on or ask him to call? We were planning a trip to Punta Mita.

Sorry I am not sure how close this is. The bus is safe. Taxis are safe and walking is safe.
My husband needs his wheelchair as walking distances is very difficult for him. Does the mixology able to accommodate us?

I don't think so. The first place was a 2 story.
The roads are cobblestone and hard for a person in a wheelchair
