#1 Tacos After Dark Food Walking Tour in Puerto Vallarta

Select Date and Travelers
2 travelers
The sheer amount of restaurants, street food and taco stands in Puerto Vallarta can be overwhelming. Let a guide choose for you on this nighttime food tour of the best the city has to offer—from fresh fish tacos to steaming hot churros. And the end of the tour, receive a colorful shopping bag, photos of the evening, and recommendations for the rest of your stay.

Sample some of Old Town Puerto Vallarta's best street food during this 3.5-hour walking tour. In the company of a "foodie" guide and a small group, find out where the locals eat after dark. Taste traditional fish tacos, tacos 'al pastor' (marinated grilled pork), tacos 'de cabeza' (beef cheek), and quesadillas. You'll also meet a master 'churro' maker and snack on the warm fritters dusted with cinnamon sugar. Numbers are limited to ensure you get plenty of personal attention and insider's tips from your guide during this leisurely tour.
  • Food tour of Puerto Vallarta’s local specialties and hidden gems
  • Go with a guide: The streets can be difficult to navigate after dark
  • Signature shopping bag and complimentary tour photos included
  • Small group size ensures a personalized experience
What to Expect
Meet your guide as the sun goes down at a central location in Old Town Puerto Vallarta. The guide provides a stress-free way to explore after dark, as navigating on your own can be confusing.

Stop at a variety of beloved eateries over the course of the evening to sample Mexican specialties such as fish tacos, tacos al pastor (spit-roasted pork), tortillas, and quesadillas made with local cheese. A small group size ensures you have the undivided attention of your guide and can ask questions at any time.

Save room for dessert: On the menu are piping hot churros and Michoacan-style paletas (popsicles). As the tour comes to a close, your guide provides maps and recommendations for the rest of your stay in Puerto Vallarta and assists you in returning to your hotel or rental.

I would't say so, street food is my favourite way to go when I travel and I have yet to be sick, I find the best hidden gems are those tiny stands you find and luckily this tour accommodates that.
