Eat your way through a portion of Puerto Vallarta on this decadent eating and walking tour. Stroll the streets of Emiliano Zapata and 5 de Deciembre neighborhoods stopping along the way to sample some local edible delights. Eat full-portion samples of tacos, quesadillas, churros, sopes, pozole and much more. Stop at 4 different tacos stands and carts to eat delicious al pastor, fresh seafood and other varieties. All the while, learn about the history of the neighborhoods from your trusty local guide.
What to Expect
Get ready to visit family-owned stands frequented by discerning locals. Stroll down the picturesque cobblestone streets of this magical city and experience  Puerto Vallarta as a local does, eating vibrant food, listening to colorful stories and embracing the richness of Mexico. 

In addition to taco stands and street food, we will visit two of Vallarta’s oldest Cenaduria restaurants, both family-owned and in the family for generations. You will leave this tour feeling more connected to Vallarta’s street food scene, in particular, and Puerto Vallarta, in general.

A sampling of The Street´s tastings include: One of the city´s most delectable fish tacos a literal eruption of flavor in your mouth, trying this famed volcan taco will leave you clamoring for more, a lush, garden restaurant/bar tucked in the middle of the city´s historical center provides a perfect setting to appreciate the complex flavors of smokey mezcal, one of the city's oldest cenadurias, will serve up local favorites pozole and sopes, a treasured taco stand known for it's exquisite al pastor tacos.

And much more...Between tastings, you’ll receive a behind-the-scenes look at the neighborhoods, including a brief, local bus ride through centro (Downtown). Throughout your tour, VFT´s informative, "foodie" guides will teach vital lessons in important things such as street food customs, how to order, and the secrets of how to find a quality taco stand. Highlight of our vacation!

Amanda was an incredible guide! We had our two kids with us (11 & 13) and they had a fantastic time, too. The food was delicious and the tour was super informative and really a great time.

Its a lot of walking. And not much seating on the tour. These are taco stands.. Hope that helps
