About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 169betsyf0 contributionsAvoid this oneI purchased a shore excursion for myself and my party (4 including myself) for a City Tour with lunch in Puerto Vallarta for November 28, 2024. I want to tell you how unhappy we all were with this tour. It started more than 30 minutes late; we were not advised beforehand to expect considerable walking, and our guide told us very little about the city. Except for a brief view of the town boardwalk and a visit to the cathedral where mass was being held so we couldn't visit inside, our guide was very concerned that we stop at several shopping venues where we were left without access to the bus we'd traveled on. All of us felt that the guide was getting kickbacks from the shops for bringing us. Twice we ended up standing on the dirty streets in the heat waiting for up to 30 minutes for the bus to reappear. For lunch, we were taken to a town about 35 minutes away from our ship, arriving just after 3:30 p.m. by which time we were all very thirsty and hungry (no water or snacks available on the bus). After repeatedly telling the guide that our ship's last call to board was at 4:30 pm, we had very little time (10-15 minutes) to eat lunch and race back to the ship, barely getting there before the deadline. All of the people in my party were very stressed out and disappointed with this excursion.Written December 4, 2024
- dtchs0 contributionsPoorly run misnamed shopping trip. Avoid!First, we had to do a lot of walking—mostly on cobblestones. No way to identify us or guide except he wore an orange shirt. Tour left 11am after 2/10 mile walk to bus parked on side street. Except for the church, this was a shopping trip to specific shops which I suspect are giving kick backs to the guide and/or company. We didn’t get to go to lunch until 3:15pm at a place about 35 min from cruise terminal. Last call at ship was 4:30!! Very stressful. Food was good as was the location, but very hurried so some mistakes were made. We were late returning to cruise terminal but thankfully didn’t miss the ship. This tour was poorly run and the emphasis was clearly more on lining their own pockets than showing us highlights of the city. Very disappointed!!Written November 28, 2024
- S5018FKaarons0 contributionsGreat ServiceHector and Carlos made our trip to and from the airport seem less. Highly recommend. Thank you for the stress free service.Written November 24, 2024
- Tierney W0 contributionsWorth the Trip!We had a good time at this tequila tasting. The host was very informative and had a lot of energy. We loved trying all the tequilas and the liquors as well. The only hiccup was that the address on TripAdvisor was outdated. Luckily they just moved down the block so we were able to find it by searching “Noble Corazón” on google.Written November 17, 2024
- Matthew G0 contributionsA lot of fun but recommend day ship if you have kidsThe pirate ship was a lot of fun and the staff and food was amazing. Wish I would have known that the night ship was geared towards adult partying. My 4 year old granddaughter was very concerned during the pirate fight. Think the day trip would have been a better experience for her.Written November 7, 2024
- Coastal2321780 contributionsGreat service; AVOID inside sales!!Great driver!!!! Hector was excellent! Challenging to get past all the condo sales people inside the airport! Proceed directly outside and to the left. The coordinator will have your name on a clipboard.Written October 29, 2024
- MaxK08030 contributionsSomewhat touristy but very fun.We had an 8 and 4 year old and they both enjoyed it as there are almost constant activities. Two meals, pirate show (sword fighting, walking the plank, some pyro), games (dance off, guess the amount of dots, etc.), and lots of beach activities. They also really focused on the kids to make sure they had fun and felt comfortable. You are assigned a personal pirate, who also has many other jobs including being in the show, who almost constantly checks on you which is nice. It also helps the drinks are somewhat watered down as they just keep appearing. Tips to know - the boat does move so bring your sea legs and seasickness medicine if you are prone. The transfer to the beach is in smaller speedboats so be prepared to jump in the water to make it ashore. And lots of audience participation so be prepared to be a bit silly which is part of the fun.Written October 25, 2024
- I9235DXirisc0 contributionsGrayline jorullo bridge ATV TourMoises was the grayline representative that took care of us at the hyatt ziva. He was very nice and made the process easy and exolained it all well. The tour was cheaper than expedia and we had an amazing time!!! The atv tour at jorullo bridge is a must! It was a great trail full of hills and things to see along the way. You stop at a waterfall, river and then and at the bridge. It was soo worth it!Written October 21, 2024
- 355azenethh0 contributionsWorstPĂ©simo servicio. Got them through costco travel for round trip transportation to airport. After they found out I wasn't interested in buying tours from them. They wouldn't answer my messages to confirm my departure transportation.Written October 17, 2024

- Trip032018575420 contributionsScam going onWe booked a city tour with Gray Line Puerto Vallarta (agent's name Leslie) while we stayed at the all-inclusive resort. Do not book and be very careful. We went with other passengers (15-16 of us from different resorts). They stopped at Malecon for 15 minutes then Church of Our Lady Guadalupe for another 15 minutes. Not enough time to do anything or buy any souvenirs, trust me! Next, the driver and guide took us to a tequila manufacture place. They stayed there longer and constantly prompted us to buy tequila. After that, they took us to a leather store and a jewelry store that were neither a historical nor sightseeing place. We were there for a long time. We all felt like we were held hostages. They took us to places they'd make commission$ off us rather than tourists attraction places. After that, they took us to this eatery place all the way up in the jungle by the creek. The place had tons of flies, no restaurant name, no price list or menu posted and strangely no general public or any other tour groups - just gray line tour groups. Although this city tour was advertised "with lunch", the waiter brought us a bill of USD 89 for one plate of fajita and 3 water bottles when we were done eating. It was not even a bill, just a piece of paper. And the guy singing with a guitar billed us USD 20. I was shocked. And the waiter said to us "you have to leave tip". His attitude was very threatening that I just wanted to get back to the resort safe. That place is opened just to scam Gray Line tour groups. The entire tour was very unpleasant.Written August 23, 2024
- lajonw20240 contributionsGood Tequila, GREAT Price.Small and intimate. We sampled 8 different bottles and learned the history of tequila. They didn't pressure us into buying anything, but I did leave with 2 bottles. You can probably find cheaper bottles but this is local and very good tequila. I highly recommend if you're near the boardwalk (El Malecon).Written August 23, 2024
- DavidGarcia7750 contributionsGood family funWe took our nephew and niece on this great fun day out , kids loved getting dressed up . Went to the beach and played pirate games - food and drink was good . Every one had alot of fun .Written August 17, 2024

Super friendly drivers, easy check in process, and super accommodating. Went with 8 family members and they accommodated all of us in one vehicle at no extra cost. Totally recommend. Super fast, safe, and reliable.Written July 22, 2024

Pay close attention to your paperwork. My travel agent booked this tour through this company and got a confirmation email, so we thought we were all set. Not really. On our sheet it said to call before going - that is because they do not list all of the information on the sheet. The tour time said 9 but you have to arrive an hour and 15 minutes early. I saw it when I was putting in my travel information, so we got there at 730 and the door was padlocked shut and our paper said 9. After waiting around, we went across the street to eat and when we went back, we had missed our time. Inside the office on the wall was a schedule showing the times. This really should have been on the outer door and our sheet. The lady in the office worked to get our tour fixed, and we were able to go to canopy river and enjoy our tour. When we tried calling the phone numbers for Gray Line no one answered, and no information was available. My travel agent was on the phone with me and was trying to reach out to them and get it taken care of and wasn't able to get any additional information.

I am utterly disgusted by the abysmal experience my family and I endured during the ATV tour with Gray Line Vallarta in Puerto Vallarta. This so-called "family" adventure turned out to be an absolute nightmare that left us furious and utterly disappointed. It's apparent that Gray Line Vallarta is more interested in swindling customers out of their hard-earned money than providing a worthwhile and enjoyable experience.
Let's start with the outrageous $200 they charged for my son's ATV experience. We were led to believe that this excursion would be a fantastic bonding opportunity for our family. Little did we know that this money would be thrown into the abyss of their utter incompetence and deceit. Our plans were crushed when, upon arrival, they decided to suddenly deny my son the right to ride the ATV, citing his age as the reason. Excuse me, but isn't this the same company that explicitly informed us, through their salesman Lorenzo Silva Arechiga, that the minimum age for riders was 16 and a driver's license was required? So, which is it? Is this a case of gross misinformation or an intentional scheme to swindle unsuspecting tourists?
The audacity to refuse my son his rightful ride, especially after taking our money without hesitation, is beyond infuriating. We had come all the way to Puerto Vallarta, excitedly anticipating a fun family experience, only to be slapped in the face by Gray Line Vallarta's blatant disregard for their customers. The fact that they refused to provide any compensation or refund for services that were blatantly not rendered adds insult to injury. It's as if they were mocking us, reveling in our frustration and disappointment.
Gray Line Vallarta's lack of transparency, their misleading information, and their unapologetic attitude have left an indelible mark of disdain in my mind. This experience serves as a cautionary tale for anyone considering booking an excursion with this unscrupulous company. Save yourself the trouble, the heartache, and the money, and steer far away from Gray Line Vallarta. They have demonstrated a complete lack of integrity and respect for their customers, turning what should have been a memorable family adventure into a sour memory that I'd rather forget.

When i bought the trip, i got this confirmation mail and we’re all set up for Going the Next day. We showed up at the pick up point in time and waiting for a while.
Afterwards, we called the Grey Line (organizers) and asked them where the truck were. They told us that the booking didnt went through so they havent received a booking from us. Then i told them that i got a conformation from Viator with a QR code and pick up times. Moreover, that you have withdrawed money from my bank.
So basically, you have withdrawed Money from a customer without giving the actual product/service. This is SCAM, and i will highly not recomend this page to anyone unless i get my money back immidiately.

The jungle/waterfall was beautiful. Our tour Victor was very nice to show us around and show us all the different types of fruit trees. Was an awesome experience. Then the tequila tasting was one of the best we tried! Extremely smooth and tasty.
