About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- michaellE4668AH0 contributionsGreat relaxing day! This was an excellent trip. They could have explained the equipment better, but we were all familiar with kayaks. The river was fun. very calm mostly with some fast sections, small riffles. You could get sideways and dump the kayak, but the guides were careful to keep you away from faster water and snags. Lots of birds and beautiful river corridor to see. The best part however was the fantastic food served at the end. This deserves 6 stars! The village is really nice and the people are so helpful and friendly. The tequila house is fun and the personal tour of the whole thing makes it excellent.Written August 22, 2024
- darbjustic0 contributionsGo in October to FebruaryThe good: The lunch was the best we have ever had on any excursion in any country. Legit, wonderful Mexican food. The people are kind and helpful. The location is in a small town, Veranos. Very cool to get off the beaten path. The bad: Hot. Hot. Hot. We went in June. I would not go again unless it was in October to February. All the plant life was dead and we baked. Rainy season is July. Then all the green comes to life and makes it much better. We came in two vans. One had no AC. An hour drive with no AC with 10 people in the van. Rough. Check in at the cruise terminal was chaotic. We pre-purchased with Viator. They sent specific instructions with pictures of a guy who is there “every day” and specific instructions on the color of shirt. Neither were true. We eventually asked around and got there. Because we were already pre-purchased, he kept neglecting us to take funds from cruise passengers that were paying in cash. Not a crazy big deal, but annoying in the scope of things. Overall, in the right time of year I think it would be a great excursion.Written June 14, 2024
- jerrybF8709IO0 contributionsGuy in Tequila factory is a cheat! The guy in the Tequila factory is a cheat! I purchased a novelty mug for his full asking price of 500 pesos. I momentarily turned to talk to my daughter and in that moment he switched mugs and wrapped one that had a broken handle that was a different style than the mug I had selected. There were no extra pieces in the very well wrapped package. It was damaged when he wrapped it. He Is a cheat!!! - DavidC8290 contributionsNice tour but prepare to get greasyIt takes a little over an hour up some windy mountain road to get to the location. Be sure to take some motion sickness med if you’re sensitive. Guides were very nice and there were only 5 of us on the tour. I think there were 10 or 12 lines. I’ve done ziplining quite a few times at different places prior to this. One thing that’s different about this tour is you need to swing your legs and rock back and forth to slow down. No big deal and you get used to it. However the one thing I didn’t expect is how greasy the Zipline cable would be. The grease will splat on your face, your body, and clothes. Didn’t expect that and not sure why it needs to be so greasy. There should be a warning about that. You may want to wear dark clothes. Otherwise guides were great and lines were fun without being extreme.Written April 16, 2024
- TulaKitty0 contributionsHad a BlastWe had a blast on this tour. Never rode an ATV before, but once you get the hang of it, it’s easy. We were on the ATV’s about 45 minutes, and then we had lunch and tasted tequila. Was a great place to spend a few hours. Would recommend and we would do this tour again. Super fun.Written April 10, 2024
- awsupermom0 contributionsGreat Day in Mazatlan!I booked the hot springs tour for my friend and I months before our cruise ship stop in Mazatlan. Denise e-mailed me immediately after booking to arrange the details of our tour. The meeting place was in the marketplace at the pier, making this a great shore excursion choice. We were signed up for the hot springs, but told about the other options when we arrived at the meeting place, so we added a kayaking tour to our day. Our Wonderful driver and guide, Carlos drove us the hour or so out of the city and into the countryside for our adventure, telling us all about the area and stopping at a roadside stand for the Most Wonderful just baked, warm, fresh, empanadas. When we arrived in the city of Veranos, the Veraneando Adventure team took over, driving us to the Presidio River. We were in great hands with Hector who took us on an Amazing 2 hour kayak tour, guiding us safely and patiently through the beautiful calm waters and gentle rapids. We really enjoyed the tour even though I found 2 hours somewhat of a challenge, and it was really a Pleasure to dunk in the hot springs afterwards. The hot springs were followed by a Really Fabulous lunch spread including a soda or a delicious local beer. Our tour in Veranos was capped off by a tequila tasting with so many flavors to choose from. My favorites were coffee and tamarindo and I happily brought both of these home with me. After our Delightful visit to Veranos, Carlos drove us back to the city. He drove us up into the mountains for a Beautiful view of Mazatlan before taking us back to the pier in time for all aboard. It was a Very Full, Terrific Day giving us the flavor of Mazatlan!Written April 4, 2024
- MinnesotaTraveller0 contributionsGreat funThis is an absolutely must do activity if you visit Mazatlan. The guides are friendly and incredibly helpful you will kayak down several Myers miles of the presidio River being exposed to natural wildlife and even a few rapids. Highly highly recommend thisWritten March 25, 2024
- Y8764NEchrisr0 contributionsDisappointedThis was such a disappointment! Went to Mr. Lionso Ranch and thought we were going to town of Veranos. ATV’s were beat up and food was NOT good. Tequilla factory was unfinished and dirty. Would never return here. In 2023 same tour to Veranos and excellent food and tequilla factory tour was food. Nice ATV ride there. Booked with Pronatours at our hotel and they switched our location without telling us. Definitely not worth time or money going to Mr. Lionso’s Ranch!Written March 8, 2024
- 426destag0 contributionsBang for your buck! This experience exceeded our expectations. For entertainment, great food and a super fun tequilla tasting — this was serious bang for your buck. The private strip along the beach was incredible!Written March 4, 2024
- Destination6925080 contributionsAgave, tequila tasting and all terrain vehicle tourAwesome experience! We had a tequila tasting, great lunch and a tour of the tequila making process. The agave plants were everywhere… it is an actual farm that the family has run for years. The all terrain vehicle tour was top notch! Our guide took us through country side and agave fields and then rode on the vacant beaches along the Pacific Ocean! I highly recommend this tour!!Written February 26, 2024
- Mobile242268809380 contributionsNo driver cameThe driver never picked us up from the resort. I called and talked to them and also texted. They kept saying the driver was coming. We waited one hour and 45 minutes. No driver. I want my money back.Written February 24, 2024

- sherylh5580 contributionsBeautiful river kayakingI’m so glad we booked this tour. The scenery was beautiful and the wildlife was plentiful. Many species of birds, including herons, cranes, and ducks. It was interesting to see the cattle along the edges of the river. The kayaks were the sit - on style. They were fine although when going over the rapids, you were guaranteed to have water in your kayak. So a change of clothes would be a good idea. The rapids weren’t bad but a little scary for first timers. Of which we had two in our group , including an 80-year-old woman! I have to say, she’s not your average 80-year-old. Very healthy and fit. The lunch, after kayaking was wonderful! Delicious burritos, homemade tortillas with frijoles and pico de gallo, guacamole, and chilies. It was so delicious! And to top it off, we had flaming cheese with shredded carrots.Written February 16, 2024
- X7824PGsamc0 contributionsReally good! The trip was absolutely amazing! The tour guides were all super sweet and the tour itself was a pretty good length. The beach and jungle were beautiful, I would definitely reccomend having one person ride on the back of the ATV for photos. We also had enchiladas and tequila cheese which tasted SO GOOD. We had a mini tour or the tequila process and ended up trying the different flavours (they were all really good). I’d definitely recommend this for couples or families!Written January 19, 2024
- Amanda M0 contributionsHighly recommend any tours by this company! ATV, Kayaking or zip lining! This was a great tour! About 45 miles from Mazatlan, you pass a Rooster Farm, a Tequila Distillery/Agave farm, La Noira which is one of the oldest mining towns in Sinaloa, and a lake. The tour driver spoke great English as did everyone in the village. The zip line was above a canyon, it zigzagged back and forth, very short walks between lines. Definitely an easy zip line tour as far as hiking, the lines ranged in length, up to 300km long. The lunch was soooooo good! Then we went to the local tequila factory where they make flavored tequilas; almond, chocolate, espresso, hibiscus, and even marijuana.Written January 17, 2024

Terrible experience with the owner and the guides. We booked the 5 hour guided tour and it only last approximately 2 hours(9am-10:30). We drove 25 minutes to the beach and stayed there for another 20 minutes before we headed back and that was it. When I tried to ask why it was so short they told us that Trip Advisor was incorrect and that was all they were going to do. When the whole group asked what happened they told us that what we read on the itinerary was for their other location and that we couldn’t get to that one because it was full. The owner was extremely rude and told me that I didn’t pay him so he won’t give me a refund and called me a “pendejo” as he walked away. They said I could reach out to Trip advisor for the refund but they will
Be of no assistance. I recommend no one plans this their main experience as you will be left underwhelmed and confused on why what they advertise isn’t what you actually pay for.

First off, the food was really, Really, really delicious. We took the quads through the jungle and crossed a wooden handmade bridge. We tried some of their home brew and it was good. The taxi is long approx. 1 hour, plan accordingly. We had no air conditioning which was uncomfortable in a hot and humid climate.

Great and easy experience. Picked up from port by hired car and driven an hour out to the ranch/facility. Alfredo was our tour guide in the atv, he did a great job making us comfortable with the atv‘s. It was a a great ride and he allowed us to go at a good clip, even crossed the river! Lunch was absolutely fantastic! Blew away my expectations. Our driver Julian was amazing as well, even took us to El Centro to buy a molcajete bowl, he even offered to take us to the beach but we were tuckered out at that point. He dropped us off back at the port with tons of time to spare. Thanks to Dulce and all the amazing staff!

Great time!!! Trip to facility was an hour passing thru little antiquated villages of historical significance. Stopped at place where shoes are made by hand. Wonderful place. 4 wheelers well maintained, guides friendly and helpful, food was authentic and magnificent. Probably one of the best tours I’ve ever been on.

This was a fun tour, seeing a rural part of Mazatlan. The guide was fun and engaging and spoke quite good English…enough for us to communicate. The meal and tequila after were excellent as well. We took my boyfriend’s girls, as it was one of their birthdays…not teens, but adults. Everyone is experienced on quads and this was a great time!

Super fun ride exploring and the ranch was awesome, however definitely too short to call this a 5 hour guided tour. We wanted to learn more about the ranch and how they survive throughout the seasons. I would have loved to see more of the organic gardens and how they use their land for sustainable living.

We had a really good time. We were on Carnival cruise and there was a guy out off the dock at the marketplace selling this place but we had already booked online. He got us a ride and our driver stayed with us all day. The ATV was excellent. We rode over a long tree branch bridge and through a cute small village. The trail was good enough for beginners but there are places to open it up and go fast too. Buy the bandana. The lunch was fresh and generous and the beer cold. Its an hour long drive each way into the mountains but well worth it. We had so much fun!!.

Hi would our 15 year old get to ride his own ATV? He is an experienced rider and we would be with him Thanks !

I believe it is. When I was looking at excursions there was mention they had a pick up at the port. You should just call and ask. They will have English speaking staff if you need that.

I would say it is ok but probably would not really recommend it for kids that young. You won't get your moneys worth.
