Outstanding Personalized Mazatlan Tour

In January husband and I along with three friends took a van tour of Mazatlan with JeanCarlo Jimenez and we all agreed it was the BEST day of our four days in the Mexican Riviera. The van was clean, comfortable, and well air conditioned and the price was a great value for the personalized tour. JeanCarlo was professional, personable, knowledgeable, and attentive to our every need. The sights we saw and the places we went were perfect for us. Thank you, JeanCarlo!

A great tour in Mazatlan

Had a great tour with Jorge Sanchez. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable and it showed that he definitely enjoyed his job. We opted not to take one of the excursions offered by our cruise ship and so glad we made that decision. Jorge was on the dock offering his service at a very reasonable price. And most importantly, no money exchanged hands until we returned safely to the dock. I would highly recommend this great tour - the highlight being the cliff divers!

Tour for everyone visiting Mazatlan
We had a personal tour which we were able to design. I wanted to purchase vanilla and a bottle of Damiana. Cesar took us to the best stores and made sure we were treated like royalty. He was very informative and friendly. Really recommend this tour for first timers to Mazatlan.

Mazatlan was a bit of a disappointment

A lot of time spent in a van. Traffic was heavy. Best part was seeing the cliff divers. Unfortunately we were in a van that everyone else had purchased the lunch and beach package of which we did not. Our driver was not aware of this fact. Jesus was our driver and he was gracious enough to take us back to the ship after dropping everyone else off for lunch. “Shopping” was stopping at different vendors on the side of the road. Did not spend much on this excursion…you get what you pay for.

FIRST TIME TO MAZATLAN - VERY IMPRESSED

We were on a 7-day cruise that included a stop in Mazatlán and decided to hire our own tour guide to show us the city. We walked outside the terminal and found Mazatlán Van Tours just outside. Our guide said he would show us the highlights of the city and he did just that. It was a wonderful tour and a great city. We had heard all the negative things about the city but we found it very inviting and beautiful. Our guide was very helpful in telling us the history of the city. We could have continued longer but we had to return to the ship. This service and guide is highly recommended. Our guide spoke very good English and was very personable.

We wandered off the cruise ship and what a pleasure to be gently offered the opportunity to go on this tour. No pressure to book, just think about it and let them know. Awesome. So, we thought about it and booked, joined up with a few others and away we went with Chewie. Great tour, and he pointed out so many highlights and knew the history. From the statues to the shopping break to the excellent stop at a beachfront restaurant (good food, drinks and no after effects, if you know what I mean).

For those arriving by a cruise ship, I would highly recommend you go ashore and find this business right in the heart of the arrival center. Then go enjoy the tour and relax, knowing you're in good hands. Bring some cash for some souvenirs and tipping the cliff divers. And then, finally, when you've enjoyed a few hours of this tour and get back, remember to tip the guide well as I'm sure they will have earned it.

Super tour with super guide
We were picked up on schedule at our Resort and proceeded with our tour towards old Mazatlan. Everything we saw was what was told to us ahead of time by our Representatives. Our tour guide was Juan and he was so knowledgeable it was amazing. He had an answer for everything. Hopefully he wasn't just making it up. We had a nice lunch on the beach which was included had a tour of a silver store as well as some free time to walk downtown. I think the most interesting part was probably the cliff divers.
