We were so lucky/blessed to have Bryan as our guide(I’d read about him on trip advisor).. Anyway he was as good as advertised; made our two couples feel safe and he was so knowledgeable about where to go and how to get the best out of our trip. Sitting at Lydia’s eating our food, which was delicious we watched as the ship’s tour buses departed and it looked like such a canned experience. With Bryan we were treated to a trip that he catered to our wants or needs with whatever add-on we could of reasonably wanted. We went to La Bufadora and shopped at the shops Bryan knew would be fair and with good quality. We then drove to have delicious Mariscos at a wonderful spot Bryan knew of, while we were there Bryan slipped off and returned with a wonderful small cake with candles included for the birthday girl in our group, we wrapped up our trip with a good Mezcal tasting and we’re able to purchase wine in Ensenada which is one of the best known wine regions in North America. Our group was so happy that we got Bryan’s info for our next time back

Brian was amazing. He took us all over, even to horseback riding on the beach (which we didn’t know we could do) (and was only $25 for quiet pleasant experience) and then to la bufadora and several other spots, all included on the private tour. We loved it ! He gave us a lot of tips (including bargaining tips) and provided a lot of helpful insight into the city!

While our driver was very nice, he was just a local taxi cab driver. The beginning of our tour did not start off very well at all and we nearly walked away and requested a refund. The individual we met outside the port first tried putting my family of 5 (including three children) into a Toyota Corolla (see attached picture, another taxi keep in mind) and argued with us that it was safe and there weren't seatbelt laws in Mexico we needed to worry about. Even after I explained I called the week prior and spoke with an individual named Brayan who promised we'd be in a van large enough to SAFELY transport my family, the guy continued to argue with me insisting we get in the sedan. As we were walking away he told us to wait and said he'd find another car. Ten minutes later a minivan taxi pulled up and the we loaded up. There was nothing personalized about our experience, he simply drove us to and from La Bufadora - no stops anywhere else, no assistance with dinning or restrooms that other reviews mentioned. I'm torn because while this was less expensive than the excursions offered through the cruise ship, we were ultimately disappointed in our experience as it was nothing close to the some of the other reviews left. Anyone can access La Bufadora - this experience doesn't grant you access you wouldn't or couldn't receive on your own. We basically just paid for a private taxi ride to and from the port - no other stops, no help with street vendors, restaurants or restrooms. I wouldn't not recommend this and look for other providers.

Booked this trip for my family through Tripadvisor and had a great experience. Beyond expectations I say. We were on a cruise to Ensenada and this was the first time we were visiting Mexico. Tripadvisor team called soon after the ship docked and kept directing us to the way to the van. There, we met Lucy our driver. She was very courteous and knowledgeable. Took us in an suv dedicated for us. Showed around the place. Had some great food. Did some shopping.Then took us to other places too as per our request. Great experience.

Our driver/guide was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. She helped make the tour special for us. Of course the views were great and we got plenty of great pictures.

We booked this tour on Tripadvisor instead of paying a lot more for the excursion from the cruise. It was definitely a great decision! It was easy to find the driver just outside the port. You have to walk outside the main terminal, but it was a short walk, and the driver was able to call us and tell us where to meet him. Unfortunately, there was some road construction, so it took almost an hour to get to La Bufadora. Without the construction, it is only 30 to 40 minute drive. Our tour guide, Erik, was very informative, and made sure that we had a great experience. On the way home my girls wanted to stop at the ocean. He was very patient and waited for us to do a little swimming before heading back to the cruise. This is definitely a personalized tour experience. Highly Recommend!!

Our driver was nice but did not speak much English. Vehicle was an old Taxi van. Not very comfortable.

Eric was our awesome guide and driver. We all felt very safe in his company including my skeptical 87yr old Chinese mother-in-law. Eric made us feel completely at ease. Very honest, well spoken and gave us great advice dealing with souvenir booth hustlers. Also saved tables so we could eat, ordered our food and showed us where clean restrooms were. We all left very pleased!

This is just for the transportation! Only the drive is what you are paying for- Had to walk from the ship about 10 mins and look for some random driver. So a little awkward to start but had a English speaking tour guide and her 8 year old daughter. She was nice and informative

Bryan was our tour guide and he was awesome! He was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! It was totally worth it having a private tour guide!

Don’t listen to any bad reviews on this transportation service. Just read what you are paying for it is so worth it. You are paying for a tour guide and transportation. Does not include tickets to anything.Bryan gave us a short tour of the city then took us to PAI PAI and gave us pointers on what packages are best to purchase which saved us money based on what we wanted to do. I recommend not spending the whole day at pai pai because you have the transportation for the rest of the time and they can recommend some great things to do and places to eat. We saw and interacted with some amazing animals and then Bryan took us horseback riding on th the beach. Our teens had a blast. Then went to eat at a local spot to eat fresh seafood and listen to live local musicians.we usually book with Carnival and went outside of the box for this one. And I will use this service every time we go from now on. TIPS: bring small bills to pay for extras and don’t forget to TIP!!

Beautiful natural wonder! Glad to have gone but would not likely return due to long drive, aggressive vendors that you must walk through to see the site. Our guide was kind, Spanish speaking only, not knowledgeable about the actual location but local and very willing to stop where we requested and to try his best to answer our questions.
