We thoroughly enjoyed this trip, there were lots of opportunities to purchase souvenirs and we saw monkeys and even a tortoise which we were not expecting. Our driver Shaminda, was very friendly and expertly navigated the local traffic. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful trip to southern Sri Lanka with Shaminda on Oct 3rd, 2024. He came on time, accomodated any requests that I had (stop for coffee and breakfast, etc.), and took me to all the cool spots. It was a treat tour that took ~12 hours from start to finish. I was back just around dinner time as we left at 6 am. All the spots are great, driver is awesome, car is very comfortable (I even napped on the way back).

Really nice experience, Roshan picked us up at the hotel. The ride was very comfortable and Roshan was friendly. The tour was amazing, really nice guide and beautiful nature.

I took the southern Sri Lanka day trip with Sigiritrip tours! It was a very pleasant experience and my guide Roshan was the best! I would highly recommend this tour to anybody who is here for a short stay in Sri Lanka and doesn’t have the time to move to other remote places from Colombo.

I had an absolutely perfect day with several breathtaking views and experiences. Shaminda is not only a perfect guide, who makes sure the whole tour will be just the experience you imagine, but also will be you friend not only during the tour. From the frist meet, I immediately feld super welcome and it was more like a trip with a friend, than with a guide. He took absolutely good care of me and made sure, the whole experience was just the way I wanted it. No matter if it was a longer stay at a location, or skipping the last event, because I was just too exhausted. If you're searching for a really good tour, I would always recommend joining him.

A really great trip by boat. The best sweet guy really paid attention to the animals we saw. And stopped the boat if we or he saw anything. Delicious melon and coconut ate and drank on the boat in a beautiful shady spot among the mangroves. I will definitely recommend this and also our nice taxi driver Roshan who stopped along the way to get us a sandwich and water. We certainly liked this. Our great thanks for this. Patrick and Nina

Roshan was a great host and driver! He was very kind, always held the car door open for us, and waited patiently as we explored each location. He even bought us tamarind pod snacks that were unique and delicious. And he took us to see a couple stops around Colombo. Overall we had a great trip. It was a nice way to see Galle and very informative. However, the trip had a lot of extra fees that they were not upfront about. These actual fees should be explicitly listed in the itinerary before booking. For example, we went to the river safari and that was an additional $30 pp. The turtle conservation was another $20.

This is one of best tours I've ever been on and my guy Vidu was amazing. This is a long tour for sure, like 14 hours, but it is so great and the time goes by so fast. Doing Sigiriya, Minneriya, a village tour, and Dambulla cave all in one day is something I'll never forget. Sigiriya is stunning, Minneriya is full of wild elephants and beautiful landscapes, the village tour is really special, and Dambulla has style of the best examples of Buddhist art that I've seen. Don't worry about the time or money of this tour, just go on it, it's fantastic. Vidu is a great guide and a great driver. He will go above and beyond to make sure you're happy and have a great day. You do interact with a lot of different people on this tour. You have specific guides at Sigiriya and Minneriya, you interact with farmers and boat, cart, and tuktuk drivers. While not expected or required, I would recommend having some cash on you in order to give some tips to very hard working people that do a great job of showing you how lovely Sri Lanka is.

Vidu was great at showing other places, very helpful and interested in showing us the beautiful things. he made us taste the red banana and fresh coconut juice. he is very flexible. he was always interested if we were hungry or thirsty. I can only recommend doing the trips to sri lanka with Vidu.

Amazing places, packed with history, be ready for a lot of stairs. Sigiriya is note advisable for people afraid of heights or in an unfit condition. A final word for out amazing driver, Kushan, who did his best to make us feel well all the time.

I had a good time with my guide during my transit time in Colombo. He has good knowledge of the local activities, street food and dinner specials and was so flexible and patient to walk around the city with me exploring the city’s streets and famous places

Great tour. If you want to see many birds, you should come in the morning. But even if you come later, you will have great nature and beautiful mangroves. Roshan was our driver to pick us up from the hotel. All very well organised Thank you
