The trip was organised really well and i would appreciate team lanka tours to plan everything so well. We are from India and would recommend Lanka safe tour. We were welcomed by Mr.Kavishan and taken around by him. Special mention to his attitude towards work and his honesty. He was always on time and high on energy to take us around. Felt very happy with him.

A brilliant way to see many of the tourist sights in Kandy in one day. Our driver Supul was a lovely young man, English speaking and very knowledgeable. We drove through the town of Kandy, around the beautiful lake, visited The Temple of the Tooth, we climbed the big white Buddha for beautiful views over the Kingdom of Kandy. We toured the gem factory and got shown around the Pilimathalawa Tea Production factory with tea tasting afterwards. We also stopped for a traditional Sri Lankan buffet style lunch, which was delicious. A good price for a great day out. Special thanks to Supul our guide for the day. Tips for travelers: *You need to wear appropriate clothing for the temple (long trousers, shoulders covered) *You must remove you shoes as you enter the temple (lots of walking on pavements which can get hot) *Lots of stair climbing at White Buddha and at gem factory *You need to pay for entry at Temple, Buddha, and for lunch *The staff and workers you meet are lovely gentle people BUT they will try to sell you gems and tea at the end of your tours. We managed to decline a Sri Lanka sapphire but got stung for some rather overpriced tea (I’m sure it will be lovely)

I went on a tour to Sigiraya and Dambulla. Lali arrived on time, was very professional and spoke excellent English. I would happily use this company again.

I can’t overstate what an amazing trip I had in Sri Lanka with Lanka Safe Tours. This was mainly due to my awesome driver. Prasanna was super friendly and very sensitive to my needs, especially as a female solo traveller. He was an excellent driver - safe but efficient. He knew the ins and outs of how to get the most out of my experience. I was initially nervous about spending ten days with a stranger as a driver, but from the moment he picked me up and said he wanted to help me ‘have the trip of a lifetime’, I knew I was in good hands. He was good company and we became friends. I thoroughly recommend Prasanna as a driver and guide. I had a brilliant trip.

We booked last minute, had a confirmation text from Lanka safe Tours within minutes including Supun’s number. Communication was good and we met him the next day. Car was clean, had a/c and was safe. Supun was very friendly and a took us straight to Lions rock. Ehe explained clearly what we needed to do as well as what to be wary of and the views were very nice indeed. He also took us to an extra stop along the way as we mentioned about gem mining. All in all the day trip was great, We can’t recommend Supun enough, he went out of his way to help including Arango h train tickets the next day (after they had sold out) and arranging collection of deliveries. Thanks for your help Supun🤙🏼

We stayed for six nights at Cinnamon Red Colombo. Rooms are quite spacious with comfortable double bed. Cleaniness and room service is very good . Hotel is in the center of Colombo with many eating joints at nearby places. The Buffet Breakfast is well spread.

The whole trip was good it could have been more organised however the guide Malith was really helpful he helped us throughout the trip and dropped us safely. The trip planner didn’t plan the whole trip properly and we had to co-ordinate ten times with them so that we could cover all the places which was discussed. And also the pickup n drop should be the same place. It’s supposed to be same place. But our pickup was from the airport n the drop was at the national park which was our last destination point according to the itinerary. finally we had to pay extra so that we could reach at the airport which was our pick up point. And we couldn’t cover 2-3 places from the itinerary as it was raining and the places was far from each other. The first day where we stayed was Kandy serene grand. The service was really good and the stay was safe, the staffs were really polite and friendly. And the hotel where we stayed on the 2nd day was not good. Ella’s Edge resort was the hotel. In the night when we reached there after the trip that day, the staffs were drunk. All of them were really drunk and it didn’t feel safe to be there. They kept staring at us. But after that we didn’t had any issues from their side. But in the night it was raining all night and there were sounds coming on our roof of the ceiling constantly till morning as if something was falling on top of the roof. It was so loud and scary that we couldn’t sleep at all. Overall experience was okay not that great. Would not recommend trip advisor and Lanka safe tours. But the guide Mr. Malith was really sweet and friendly to us n took us most of the places. Tried to cover as much as possible.

We had a wonderful time in Sri Lanka. The country offers so much in a relatively compact place. The people are lovely, always smiling, very hospitable. Our guide, Prasanna, was a highlight of our trip. Nothing was too much trouble. We could always rely on him to organise activities, even when we changed our minds last minute. He was always smiling, always helpful and had a great knowledge of the country and its attractions. No doubt we will be back and will recommend Sri Lanka, Lanka Safe Tours and Prasanna (who we will insist on being our guide) in the future!

We had a wonderful time in beautiful Sri Lanka with our friendly driver/guide Prasanna. He made our trip more personal and tailor made for us. It was great to experience his pride for his country and fall in love with Sri Lanka, it’s culture and its people. Prasanna was accommodating to us and any changes we asked for on the go. He went above and beyond to get us the best tickets on the train from NuwaraEliya to Ella, which was a highlight of our trip. He was punctual, always on time. Always checked we are ok and happy. He is a great driver and made us feel we are safe and taken care of. Prasanna introduced us to local food and made great suggestions on places to stop and eat and experience local delicacies. Also great suggestions on places to stop along the way, to stretch our legs during the long car rides. We are already planning our next trip to cover everything we couldn’t fit in the short time we had. Definitely going to recommend to everyone we know and cannot wait to be back!

Did a Nuwara Eliya and Pinnawala day tour from kandy facilitating 2 families . Had an amazing experience and all went as planned. Driver arrived promptly at 8 AM, friendly and knowledgeable, 7 seater Van was clean and new. Price was reasonable. Overall experience was great.

We had a lovely time seeing the Sigiriya Rock, Spice Garden, and the Dambulla Cave Temple. Our tour guide, Indika, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He also took some really great photos of us that we’ll cherish forever. One thing we wish to comment on is that the while the Spice Garden does not have an entrance fee, there is an expectation to tip which we were not warned about. At one point in the tour, you get a 15ish minute massage by some of the workers there. Which was really nice, but there is an expectation to tip afterwards. It would have been better if we were told about this beforehand. Other than that, we highly recommend this tour to anyone!

We are a family of 4, with 2 kids aged 8 and 10. This was our first visit to Srilanka and we were advised to hire a driver for the entire period of our travels within the country. Lanka Safe Tours came recommended by a friend who had visited SL a couple of months back. We were warmly greeted at the airport on time by our driver and tour guide, Prasanna. For the next 13 days, Prasanna ensured all our needs were taken care of, was always on time, was great company throughout the long road trips and was an extremely safe & efficient driver who knew all the spots we wanted to visit in multiple cities. During our trip, we covered Colombo, Kalutara, Galle, Hambegamuva, Nuwara Eliya and Kandy. Prasanna took us to wonderful restaurants, shopping centers and view points in all these cities, that we were not initially aware of. We would like to thank him for taking such good care of us and going above & beyond in making the trip truly memorable for us. We highly recommend booking him for your future trips to SL.

This is the first time that we decided to use a car with a driver instead of using public transport and this has been the greates idea of all our trip! Sri Lanka is a wonderful country with a lot of great places to visit and many of them are hidden along side and bumpy roads and having someone taking you there was absolutely great. But what really made the difference is our driver / guide / translator / expert / chef / friend Supun! He's been very friendy, useful, kind, polite, knowledgeable, supportive and all the best adjective you can think of! He made us feel we were travelling with a local friend and that's priceless! Sri Lanka is a very wonderful country, but with Supun it's even better!
