Day 3: Habarana to Sigiriya / Trincomalee

This local fortress was initially built in 1623 by the Portuguese. Several years later it was rebuilt by Dutch settlers before being recolonized by the British in 1728. Fort Frederick is currently occupied by the Sri Lanka military.
