COLOMBO Steve had a lovely’s personality and his English was good. Besides doing City Tours he will also take his visitors on tours around Sri Lanka for up to 15 days. We were only here for a few hours but saw many places. He adjusted his tour to our needs. Hazel and Doris

Steve accompanied us on our 10 day Sri Lanka roundtrip. Throughout the whole journey we felt very safe, which isn‘t necesssarily normal considering the sri lankan driving style, and he always had good tips to make our experience even better. His english is perfect, he was always in a good mood and very calm, so for us he was a truly perfect travel compagnion. We can only recommend travelling sri lanka with Steve!

A friend of ours recommended Steve as a reliable and safe driver to accompany us on a two week trip around Sri Lanka. We came up with our own itinerary which we sent to Steve ahead of our trip. We found Steve to be a knowledgeable driver/ tour guide and an all around lovely person. He would pick us up from the beach, drive us to the supermarket, take us to a lot of nice, local lunch places, recommend places for dinner as well as attractions to visit that were not necessarily in the itinerary. He also gave us a lot of information regarding Sri Lanka's rich history, religions, people and culture. He was mindful of what we wanted to do/ where to eat etc., to the extent that we felt it was an experience tailored to us. He even climbed Pidurungala rock with us despite the heat and relatively difficult hike (we couldn't convince him to join us to Adams peak however :) ). I particularly enjoyed our conversations about politics (we were there during the presidential elections) and the impact of recent events on the Sri Lankan people. Steve's van was equipped with wifi, air con and mineral water. We felt very comfortable during the daily trips in the car. I was impressed with Steve's safe driving especially considering the often reckless driving by tuk tuks and buses around us and the sometimes narrow roads. Overall, I would fully recommend Steve as a driver. He is a great guy, who loves his country and is keen to show how amazing it is to his guests. He is committed to providing a fantastic service and we would certainly use him again when we return to Sri Lanka.

We had a wonderful experience with Steve. He picked me and my husband from our hotel at the scheduled time, and showed us around the city. We even stopped for some coconut water. Thank you Steve and thanks so much for the beautiful mug displaying the gorgeous scenery of Colombo.

My wife and I traveled to Sri Lanka this past September and had the privilege of having Steve pick us up from the airport and take us on a great tour of Colombo. We liked it so much that we hired him later to give us a tour of Kandy after we took the train there. He speaks good English and drives a very comfortable van. He knows all of the ins and outs of Sri Lanka and is sure to make your experience unforgettable.

We originally booked these tours with another driver when we arrived at our hotel in Kalutara. We managed a one day trip with him to Kandy but he'd previously booked up with someone else which was fair enough as I'd agreed to discuss the tours when we arrived there. He then recommended his friend Steeve to us. We booked Steeve for a day trip to Galle, and a day trip to Udawalawe National Park and finally a day trip to Columbo where we wanted to go shopping. Steeve was a very pleasant and knowledgeable guide and best of all a very safe driver, considering the driving standards of the the rest of the general Sri Lankan population. At no time at all did we feel unsafe while he was driving. His English was excellent and he always went out of his way for us. My children also enjoyed his company and got along well with him. His knowledge of all the tourist attractions was very good. He always took the time to explain to us the significance of each attraction we visited. Every time we'd pass something I would ask and he would always explain to me. He was very punctual when coming to pick us up from the hotel on every tour. Overall my family and I felt at ease with Steeve and enjoyed his company greatly. Also a very polite and honest guy with whom my family felt safe with. He would also accompany us on foot to show us some sights, and this was after hours of driving at the wheel. This was to make sure that we didn't get ripped off on the entrance fees. Best of all I remember we were driving back and he parked up so I could get some beer. I'm sure the vendor was going to overcharge me as he realised I was a foreigner, but Steeve walked up behind and started talking in the local language and I was amazed at how cheap the local Lion lager was. Thank you so much Steeve.

Me and my friends had a 10-days trip through the country and Steve took care of us from Colombo to Arugam Bay. He has been an GREAT driver, picking us up from the airport, providing support and everything we needed (water, indications, useful/interesting cultural advises about the country). He also gifted us a sweets “bouquet” :) His car is comfy and clean, with all comforts necessary (music, WiFi, air conditioner, etc). He was never late and on a rainy day he also came looking for us through the temple site to hold us umbrellas. It would strongly suggest him as a driver!! :D

We had an amazing three/four-days tour with Steve. He drove us around the ancient cities and to Passikudah and Arugam Bay after that. He was very kind and accomodating to all of our requests and gave us many useful advices. He planned the activities perfectly and we had also a bit of time to relax and chill in the meantime. Also, he was absolutely incredible with understanding our needs (like sleeping a bit more in the morning,buy something from the super market and so on). We do recommend planning a tour with him so very much :)

Four days from Colombo to Arugam bay through dambulla, sigirya and polonnaruwa. All perfect, Steve is the best. Absolutely recommend.

We landed in Colombo at 5am. Our flight arrived much earlier than expected. I was worried if our driver would be there, also because we were with our sleep deprived 2 year old daughter. It was her first trip abroad. But before we could worry any further, there he was, Steve, waiting for us, earlier than we had expected. From there on, Steve was always there on time wherever we wanted to go...and always obliging. Though he seems a little reserved in the beginning, when he opens up, he is full of stories about Sri Lanka and it’s people and culture. And to top it all, Steve is a safe driver, always following traffic rules and making sure we reached our destination on time, and most important, safely. We hope to go to Lanka for a longer trip soon, and when we do, we are sure to reach out to Steve again!

We travelled with steve during our week long stay in srilanka. Right from the time of our pick up to our drop back to airport after our holiday,steve has always been on time and prompt. He is a very safe and flexible driver taking care of our convenience. Plus, we got to learn so much about the country and the people from him. If we ever visit srilanka again the we will definitely ask for steve again and we highly recommend others try his services as well.
