About the operator
- glenyst19800Not quite the high standard of intrepid tours I have experienced before. Our guide was very good and explained with enthusiasm and gave us a variety of food options. However at the end to get to the dessert option we were required to pay for a uber/taxi for us and the guide. I am sure the food at this place could have been resourced close to where we already were as it was an option for breakfast at the villa the next morning. Maybe not the drink that was presented with it? I thought the taxi could either have been included in the price or at least we should have known about it prior to the tour!! Still plenty of food............. Necessary, I am not sure about that............ a touch disappointing
- 285nickg00Do not use this companyDoes this company still exist? I made a booking and paid online, no confirmation with the company, arrived to tour start location, waited 25 minutes… no guide arrived. Phone numbers provided do not work. One star rating for the refund being processed in a timely fashion
- Taracaitlin00Guide was a No Show! Don't waste your time! Our tour guide didn't show up. We wasted value time in Bali because the guide was a no show. We received a refund but wasted money and time traveling to Denpasar. Do NOT book!
- laurasteden00Don’t book! Nobody will show up!Don’t book - nobody will show up!!!! Tried to call and checked all the entrances, but I think this operator is no longer in business. So I do not understand why you can still purchase tickets.
- F5150IOpetrad00Great cooking class experience with lots of funWe had a really fun time cooking with Bu Herni. The meal we cooked was delicious and consisted out of a great variety of jawanese specialities. She also had a really good way of teaching which made the experience even better, because we learned so much new! She was very flexible to adjust to our vegetarian needs.
- TrailBlazer23473000Tour guide did not show upThe tour guide did not show up. So we wasted money on transport to and from the meeting point. Definitely not recommended.
- 874chimau00TERRRRIBLEE!!If i could leave a -10 i would. We booked this tour but the people involved never even reached out to us. But we also reached multiple times before the actual event to no avail. We spent quite a bit hiring a driver to take us to Kuta from Ubud which is a very long drive. Once we got to the location listed on the ticker. There was nobodyyyy there !!! We waited for 30 mins and continued to call the number on file to no avail. Please DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM THEY ARE A SCAM. Currently waiting for a full refund plus the additional charges used for the driver. What a waste of time and a big disappointment
- Seycil S00Would've never find these GEMs otherwise.. GREAT Experience! We found Good Indonesian Food from Street Food Fiesta in Berawa. Ani was our tour guide... We found the best lamb satay ever! Then we went to get duck, and spicy mixed rice.. And ended up in the best Balinese Suckling Pig - Babi Guling. Can't describe it in words. This must be experienced!!! Thank you for the best insight in town.
- CookieRagnar00Amazing street food experience in Bali!I lived in Bali for quite a while but never tried any of the foods in the places we’ve visited on this tour! Can’t describe with words all the good emotions we’ve experienced this evening, variety of meats from goat meat to pork and duck, from sweet & sour dishes to spicy and original Indonesian and Balinese foods! Tour guide Ani was very friendly and helpful in explaining the ways of selected dishes or spices being made. Must visit!
- N8796RZemmas00Downtown Denpasar is a DelightWe had a fabulous tour of the market and stroll through local parks to sample lumpia (spring rolls) and other street food. The guides were knowledgeable University students who were able to answer all of our food questions from our group including a dietitian and Le Cordon Bleu chef. So interesting to see the pace, produce and locals at the market and the wide boulevards of the capital.
- R1812BYrussellm00Bad booking experienceDisappointed. I used these guys 3 times the last time I was in Bali in 2017. Was excited to go on the walking tour. You should have a chat with whoever is running your whatsapp and booking accounts because it was a very frustrating experience. Booked a walking tour on Tuesday evening for Thursday morning and was told that it is enough time to give notice over whatsapp. Everything was confirmed and locked in. Then I get a message on whatsapp saying that the tour is full and that they can’t take us (on Wednesday afternoon). Very frustrating as we’d already paid and had planned other activities around the tour.
- tdparamita00Above and Beyond Food Tour ExperienceTwo thumbs up for Astrid Prajogo, the brain behind this Food Tour and Bli Puri Ana, our guide for Ubud Heritage food tour. I took foreign journalists to experience Bali from its culinary attraction and they couldn't stop saying that it was the best food tour experience. We got a chance to see the making of the best babi guling 'bu Oka' and bebek betutu 'pak Rimpin' as well as cooking class with one of Balinese Master, I Gusti Nyoman Darta. How they preserve their heritage and at the same time serve the best Balinese food in my life, are above and beyond! Envy me enough?
- Peter B00Ultimate Bali food tourWhat a wonderful way to learn and taste the local food. Diny our tour operator was so knowledgeable and always asked if we were comfortable with her suggestions. Being such a small group made travelling around the bustling Denpasar a lot easier. Highly recommend.......
- UrbaneForker00Informative street food tourI had been to Bali a few times but I still found this to be an excellent tour as I went to places where the locals eat In fact at the 5 placed I saw only one foreigner out of maybe 100 people. The 5 places were from different parts of Indonesia. Our guide Dinda was excellent.. Very informative and excellent English. Plenty of food.
- Anita C00Highlight of our trip!I love food tours when I travel, and this experience was no different. We went on the Ubud Foodie Walking Tour and the Kuta Street Food Tour. Both tours were full of delicious food at restaurants that locals visited. Our guide Ratih (both tours) happily answered all our questions about Indonesian culture and food. I highly recommend booking a tour to enhance your trip!

Angelina was there to greet me at the meetup spot (Yogyakarta train station sign) at the appointed time.
The 1st stop was right across the street and was probably the best Soto Ayam (rice, noodles and chicken soup) I’ve had so far. Other stops included such tasty bits as Lumpia (chicken spring roll with garlic on top), Sego Empal “Bu Warno” (beef and rice) and Manuk Nom (fermented rice gelatin dessert). All yummy and very filling-don’t eat breakfast before this tour! Angelina is very passionate and knowledgeable about her country and her English is excellent. We had a great time together.
