- harmony S00Something to remember! It was very fun! We got to snorkel, feed turtles and more. I’m not much of a swimmer and the tour guides were very helpful and guided us when we need it. Very nice and fun group of folk
- Rim H00Our trip todayThe trip was amazing and unforgettable for our family. First of all the company is very professional, friendly and experience they made every second of the trip memorable and fun for us. I could give them 100++and highly recommend them. Second the program was amazing and we enjoyed every bit of it starting from pig island, snorkeling, turtles feeding, golf cart touring around harbor island, pink beach and finally the swing in the middle of heaven where stingrays were all over the place. I would love you give a very big thanks for Parker, covin and the captain codie they are amazing and very friendly and professional. We really enjoyed the trip today with you all
- sabigail00Great excursionWe had the most amazing time! It is hard to find these my 22 year old daughter and 12 year old son both enjoy and they had a blast! The crew was great - fun and attentive. Would do it again for sure!
- Reya F00They could do better!First, I was happy that I found a tour company that takes you to the famous pink sands beach. I booked shorethings thinking it will be somewhat smooth like the previous tour companies I had booked when I would visit the island. Pick up and check in at the desk was good. We were approached by a gentleman if we wanted to buy a photo package. And eventually I bought since we were a group of 5. Then when it was briefing time, my family were almost broken up to another boat. We explained to the women who seems to be in charge that we were a family but she insisted that I was a party of 1, my daughter a party of 1 and my cousin was a party of 3. We all booked individually so it shouldnt matter as long as we were informing them that we were all together. But she wasnt giving in UNTIL a family of 3 offered to switch so my family can be all together. That was already a red flag after they were giving us a hard time. Then later, 3 more people showed up to the same boat. All that fuss for nothing. When they accomodated other people! The stops were going good, the crews were awesome entertaining us during our 1.30 hr drive to the islands. Pictures were being taken. The second red flag was when we got to the island where we would have lunch. It was very unorganized. I was one of the few who got my food late. The restaurant were getting confused with our orders or the orders were never submitted….because our food was late, our time at the pink sands beach were cut off short…. NOW, the 3rd red flag that i have encountered with this company is the PHOTOS i had bought! I was promised to receive my photos later that evening after our tour. The next day, Nothing. I had reached out to the company and was informed that it was SENT to the wrong email and that it will be forwarded by the end of the day. I waited and waited, still nothing…the following day I finally called and asked for the photos..it was sent over….i looked through the pictures and we were missing photos! The ones from the pig island. I reached out again and was informed that they sent it over…I explained over and over that those specific photos were not sent!! I had reached out dozen times and still nothing…its been 6 days and we are still going back and forth about those photos! Honestly, they would have been a perfect tour company since they always had drinks and snacks and free thermo bottles but never again would i use them only because we paid for photo package and we ended up having missing photos and!
- marcbauman7900Top notch serviceIf I can rate this higher than a 5 star I would. The crew I had was top notch. Capt. Hall , Capt. Cardo, Kel, Emma, Brano, JoJo, Nelson and Kovin were so knowledgeable, and great with my 2 younger boys we had on the trip. I highly recommend using this company to give you the ultimate experience of your lifetime
- W7297GHlarryp00Worth every pennyAbsolutely amazing. Everything about it was perfect. There is so much to do that nothing can go wrong. If it a little rainy there then they make it perfect somewhere else. Lots of beautiful places. I will be doing this every year I’m here.
- 474nevaw00Pink Sand & PigsShore Things came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. What an absolutely awesome adventure! Jojo, Johnny, and the rest of the crew knew each guest by name. Highly entertaining, knowledgeable, energetic, and attentive. My family had an absolute blast with them! We chose the Pink Sand Beach Tour and every single moment was AWESOME! Johnny took all of our families photos so we could enjoy our day. Beautiful atmosphere, amazing Captain getting across the open waters, fabulous lunch, and memories we will not soon forget. Our family is so grateful to have spent the day with Shore Things. Thank you!!!
- rebeccamU9187PB00Fun, Fast & Filled with Surprises!Shore Things was really good to work with - we originally scheduled the Exuma trip but they contacted me early in the week to advise they wouldn’t be able to do it due to the south winds being high and said it would be unsafe. They offered to switch us to this pink sands, pigs and Harbor island tour which we didn’t really originally want, but it turned out to be a really nice day. They give you a nice water bottle that they keep filled with sky juice or rum punch all day. Our Captain Ricardo and Cal made the experience really fun and memorable. Cal danced on the boat and sang even over choppy water and he kept us laughing and moving along day (ps- love the shirt!!) Captain Ricardo even made sure to grab one of the turtles as it swam past us so that I and the girls could interact with him and hold him, which is all o really wanted to do. I was also extreme pleased that we got to interact with stingrays while at the swings- which was unexpected and we laughed so hard because my daughter was freaked out and kept climbing up someone to keep away from them! Overall great day that moved quickly. Do not underestimate what others have said-lots of sunscreen, a hair wrap if you don’t want your hair whipping everywhere, and a hat are good ideas.
- lydiamarie-1300best day ever!!!This was such an amazing experience to have been able to go on! Captain Ricardo and Cal were AMAZING!!! They made sure everyone was happy and enjoying everything. Cal was very lovely and was a ball of joy, he danced and sang for us the whole way there and back, he was awesome!! Can’t say enough incredible things about this excursion and crew members! Highly recommend to everyone, you won’t regret it at all!!
- Nicole H00Highlight of our vacation!!!The team was amazing from start to finish! JoJo and Johnny were both amazing and kept us entertained the entire time. We are at Atlantis for a week and this was definitely the highlight of our trip!
- Ash N00Awesome crew and very fun dayThis tour was so fun! Jojo and Johnny were very entertaining and sweet. The whole staff was kind and we have a blast! Highly recommend this company, it’s a close family oriented crew. The captain cardo was a great driver and the boat ride was so fun. We loved every bit of it. The snorkeling went by fast, we got to feed the sea turtles and hold them, we got to feed the pigs and hold them too, saw sting rays, a manatee, lunch was good. Drinks and snacks were provided. Great team, great company, would do it again. Thank you all for a great day!
- Traveltheworldwithji00Great day! Family friendly ❤️This is a fun day! This was my 2nd time going with shore things. This time I brought my kids lucky and liam and they really catered to them and helped with then throughout the day. Thanks for making it so memorable for us!
- Theresa M00Snorkeling on the reef, swimming with pigs, and lunch...Was absolutely the best time ever! Would give Captain Montie, Andrew, and nice lady that register us a 10...
- Graham M00The real Bahamas!Fantastic day out!! The whole experience from booking and the electronic confirmation, waivers to the collection at our hotel to the meeting and greeting at the office was smooth and efficient. Capt Cardo, and JoJo and the whole team were awesome. JoJo was fantastic with us and ensured we took part in the interaction with the wildlife despite our nervousness which really made the trip!! All were kind and attentive making it a day to remember!
- 249da00Emma and Ricardo made this trip!!We did the pink sand trip. From departure to arrival back at the dock, Emma and Captain Ricardo were spectacular and truly made the trip of solid vibes and ocean dreams!! Totally worth the money and time spent, due to the fantastic crew!

Brilliant day out. Kel and the team were absolutely excellent and were very knowledgeable about all the wildlife that we saw and the different islands.
Trip included feeding the iguanas, swimming with sharks (absolutely epic) and feeding the swimming pigs. Even though the animals are wild, you always felt comfortable as the team explained to you how to interact with them and were always there to help out. You also get to snorkle the Pablo Escobar plane crash and stop off for a very good lunch.
Soft and alcoholic drinks are included (highly recommend the cocktails that the team made).
Most people on the boat were couples, but imagine it would be an incredible day out for families with children as well.
Would 100% recommend to others and would definitely use these guys again next time I come back. Completely unforgettable day.

Tortuous trip to Exuma. If you like your body being throw around like you are constantly in a car accident for 1 hour then this is the trip for you. DO NOT SIT IN THE FRONT OF THE BOAT. All of the 5 star reviews are clearly from someone who sat in the back of the boat.
The front of the speed boat is not safe for passengers to cross the ocean at that speed. We should have had life vests on as we crossed this crazy part of the ocean. If someone would have fallen off, you would have been screwed because the music is crazy loud. The intro to the boat never mentioned where the life vests were which is so neglectful knowing how dangerous the ride was in the front. The staff were yelling at each other over the radio and they couldn’t even hear each other.
We asked them to slow down many times but did not. Many people were completely falling out and had to stand in the middle of the boat. Those in the back of the boat have NO IDEA of the rough ride torture we endured.
When I discussed the inappropriate treatment and ride, all staff got defensive and said “we told you”. They did not warn us sufficiently and did not care. They allowed a 80 yr old lady to sit in the front despite them knowing how it was going to be. When we’re about to board they said “everyone signed the waiver? Any one read it? No one has a back problem, recent surgery or is pregnant right (after took our money for the trip)?” There was no enough context to what they were asking and the consequences of where you sat. If you want to do this tour of Exuma check out Salt Shaker boat as they have all of the seats in the back where it is safe rather than the front seats. This speed boat is not safe in the front for this across the ocean trip, it was a lake speed boat. It’s a joke that there are cup holders in the front and had given everyone a drink before we left because they literally flew out within the first 10 mins of waves.
Although I loved Exuma, I would never take this trip again. My neck and back are so jacked right now I can’t move. Literally feels like I was in a severe car accident with whip lash. I highly regret sitting in the front of the boat and I am angry the staff were so disrespectful! No not recommend. Extremely neglectful company.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for choosing Shorething Escape for a day trip to Exuma, it is out of our control to make the trip a pleasant one when the wind picks up, which means the waves picks up. We pride ourselves on making our trip an unforgettable experience for all our guests. It is difficult to know which date you travel on our tour, because this will allow us to know who your crew was. We do not tolerate crew members being disrespectful at any time during our tour.
If we was aware of this situation before hand it would have been address and we would have assisted you with a massage to ease your experience. For those who are not frequent boaters it can be tole on your body but on the plus side we are happy you enjoy the activities and the beauty of our island in the Exuma Cays.
Thank you once again for your comments and we have made duly noted details.

I could remember my experience like it happened yesterday. As I arrived, I was greeted by each employee I passed. As I entered the boat I was amazed by the decor. After getting settled on the boat a man well-dressed for the occasion approached, He acknowledged my presence, stated that his name and explained he was going to be my captain for the evening. The thing I loved about the service most is that they were all in uniform and I could tell that the workers were well trained. I love the way the treated the animals with care and compassion. I would recommend this trip to anyone who loves the water and looking for a new experience.

Hands down our day with Shore Thing Escapes was the highlight of our vacation! If you splurge on one excursion in the Bahamas definitely pick the Exuma trip with Shore Thing. We found that they leave a bit earlier than all the other boats so we were the first ones to arrive at the stops throughout the day. And, at the end of the day we arrived first at the sandbar, stayed 20minutes longer and still passed the other speedboats on the way back to Nassau. And, no one else looked like they were having quiet as much fun as us!
When comparing companies read the itineraries closely as some don't make all the stops. With Shore Thing you see it all: iguanas, sharks, pigs, amazing lunch, snorkel a plane crash and the most gorgeous sand bar you've ever seen. The crew was kid-friendly and the playlist matched the upbeat mood of the day. Our kids loved the impromptu dance party to YMCA on the way home!
You could not ask for a more amazing day. For the rest of our week I was recommending this tour to families at our resort and will continue to do so. I had high expectations for this day-trip and Shoe Thing overdelivered - it was the most incredible way to see the beautiful Bahamas!

Ride from hell
Exuma was beautiful however, there were MANY safety concerns getting out there. First the staff asked if anyone sitting upfront had previous surgeries or sever neck and back problems or was expecting which we did not. (This was the “warning” they gave us) They never told us where life vest were and they let a 80 year old grandmother sit in the front section. When I say the ride out there was absolutely terrifying and hurt I am not exaggerating. The waves were high and our body would be SLAMMED for the next hour. (This is the time it takes from Nassau to Exuma) People were dropping like flies and were trying to get to the back of the boat. The music was blaring so loud and the people were having trouble getting the attention of the staff when they needed help. In my opinion, NO ONE should be sitting up front. We are healthy, mid 30’s with no neck or back injuries but the next day I was in extreme pain. Bruises and felt like I was hit by a semi truck, hardly able to move. I definitely don’t recommend small/young children or elderly on this boat.
The staff was not the most friendly and seemed to have no remorse to the people in the front of the boat that got completely annihilated on the way out. (Saying “we warned you” with shoulder shrugs) Everyone in the front section voiced how scary and dangerous the ride out there was. Once out to the island we were pretty rushed every time we snorkeled. The captain was speeding very close to anchored boats and was negligent to the passengers well being on the way to exuma.
I would not recommend this company to any friends/family or others that ask about them.

Dear G5135,
First of all I would like to apologize for such an experience on our Ultimate Exuma tour. We are unable to predict the change in the waves and wind at times. As it would be different on land than on the ocean. I do understand your sentiments pertaining to this matter but this was an unusual circumstances. I will inquire into the behavior of the staff but we apologize on behalf of them, but will not allow this to ever happen again as it is unacceptable in any circumstances. Please let us know what date you took this tour so we can look up which staff crew worked on the boat. Thank you for choosing Shorething Escape and we will correct this matter, because we offer the ultimate experience.

The boat that we supposed to ride had a malfunction and they had to replace it with another boat. The ride was VERY VERY BUMPY. All of us had strong neck and backaches. They said it’s going to be a bumpy ride when we were already in the boat about to leave the harbour. If i knew that it’s going to be that bumpy, i would have reschedule because i have spinal problems. The breakfast that was provided was a few leftover dunkin donuts that was not enough for everybody. We didn’t get a chance to snorkle and dive around the sunken plane but we paid for that package.

The Shore Thing Escapes difference is simple, we cut no corners and spared no expense. We don’t abide by the same set of standards, we carefully choose our team, our equipment, beverages, and anything else you may use during your day with us.
We are sorry that our vessel was experiencing difficulties and we had to outsource another company. However, this actions was appreciated by many of the guest as this was their last day for a full day tour. We also give guest the option of rescheduling with us when possible. Needless to say this can difficult in this situation.
WE are happy that you are ok nevertheless this tour is not geared toward individuals like yourself. Please see below.
Each guest receives an itinerary allotting who should and shouldn't go. I apologize that you missed this in your booking invoice however, As we try to express this as many times as possible. Please see below that section of the itinerary.
Who SHOULDN'T go?
This tour may not be suitable for children under 2, women who are pregnant, individuals with severe neck or back problems, heart conditions, any other serious medical issues or anyone with limited mobility.
If any of these conditions do apply to you, please contact us.
This is expressed like this because unfortunately we do not control the weather and the distance needed to travel to the pigs requires a powerboat. We travel over open waters and the weather can change at any point during the trip.

From start to finish the staff there made this the most enjoyable part of our trip to the Bahamas! Officer Manager Georgette was super friendly and helped us get on our away very quickly! The Captain Toriano was very informative and welcoming! Hall was also very helpful on our adventure. We must say the most entertaining part of the whole thing besides the actual excursions themselves was Mikel the "dancing bear"! He really does dance almost the entire time! As far as the actual excursions go we had to do an alternate route due to high winds and weather so we did a different tour plan. Instead of Exuma we went to the Eleuthera island area. Everyone we encountered on each island was very friendly. The water was beautiful and all of the animals we got to interact with were amazing! (Pigs, dogs, turtles, turkeys, ducks, fish, etc etc.) We highly recommend this crew, this company and the tours and experiences that they offer!

This was the best trip ever, though the waters were rough heading to Exuma, the team from Shore Thing Escapes communicated that with us, and they were informative and taught us about the Cays we were passing and the owner. In my opinion, Louis Vuitton and Johnny Depp owns the most beautiful cays. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone, couples, groups you name it, you’re bound to have an amazing experience. Emma, the Captain, Kell (I think that’s his name and I forgot the other crew mates name.) The next time I go on this trip, I’m bringing a group, and I hope that we have the same crew members. I loved EVERYTHING about that trip. Thanks Emma!! I love you!!! ❤️💕 Ask for Emma or Kel! I promise you’ll have the best time ever!

The experience was like no other!! Georgette was so helpful, thoughtful and nice with breakfast on arrival, great introduction to the tour and she guaranteed the experience would be awesome! It was everything and more. To the awesome crew, Torri with his exceptional captain skills and always made sure all on board were comfortable. To Kel with his outgoing personality and dance moves, added the flavor like no other- it added to the unique experience which made the experience beam with excitement the entire time. The stops were beautiful and breathtaking!! The iguanas, the sand bar, swimming with the pigs, petting sharks and snorkeling, was an out of the world experience!! The food was delish which added the right amount of awesome to the island beauty, I was getting to see, feel, and now taste. To sum it up, overall fantastic, wonderful, beautiful, friendly and will do it again experience!!

You can pay to have a private option. We did not do so. When we went, there were probably at least 20, but it did not feel too overwhelming.

Hi,
My understanding that this is a private tour. However I just read it says “this tour will have a maximum of 30 people.” Could you please clarify? Thanks
