He truly made it an experience we will not forget! He is so friendly and such an amazing entertainer !! Thank you Bryant for making our trip one we will talk about for years to come!!Written February 13, 2025
- L6191WJsuzannem0 contributionsI'm in love w/Salvatore, don't tell my husband! This was absolutely a highlight of our trip! We had booked the All inclusive Blue Lagoon Beach Day through Celebrity Cruises and were treated to the Dolphin Encounter as part of the package. Zoologist and dolphin trainer Shantel was really informative and helped us to know how to interact with Salvatore safely for him and for us. We were able to get in the water and have him come past us to get stroked on his back and his belly. (His skin was so smooth!) We were permitted to dance hug and even give him a little kiss. :) He and the other dolphins there seemed very happy, healthy and well cared for and boy do they love fish! Our star entertainer even did a double back flip out of the water! It was awesome! Definitely give them a visit!!Written February 2, 2025
- L6191WJsuzannem0 contributionsAll Inclusive is the way to go!!We booked the All Inclusive Blue Lagoon Beach Day thru Celebrity Cruises and loved it! Captain George gave us a nice tour of all the celebrity owned homes on the way to the island and played great music. Our tour hosts Perez and Seekey took excellent care of us and got us settled into a lovely private beach area to enjoy the sunshine. Our excursion included unlimited drinks and lunch which was excellent! (yay Bahama Mamas) :) We were also treated to a Dolphin Encounter that was just delightful. Dolphin trainer Shantel introduced us to Salvatore who let us pet, dance, hug and even give him a little kiss. He was totally charming and seemed super happy, healthy and well cared for, which put my fears to rest. They also had sea lions, manta rays, and nurse sharks that you could see or interact with. For the kids there inflatables to climb and float on. There was a whole separate snorkeling area that we didn't get time to check out but we did walk a trail and enjoy the native flora. There was also a lovely gift shop & pristine rest rooms. The only thing I could have wished for was more time there. :) The all inclusive was DEFINITELY WORTH IT!!Written February 2, 2025
- samsteve101210 contributionsBryant the Dolphin Whisperer!! A++++++Bryant was our dolphin trainer and was awesome. We have swam with dolphins before but I have read that this was a special experience and it was. On a 1/10 it was an 11. Bryant was very outgoing and fun gave a master class. You can tell he has real compassion for his animals under his care and his guests he is hosting. He was great and I highly recommend this excursion. Worth the money and the memories were great. Pics convenient and great action shots and economical. No way anyone can complain on this adventure!Written January 12, 2025

- timmer590 contributionsIts nice but...First off to be very fair the weather was just ok. You meet at the Paradise Island ferry terminal at 8 AM. No taxi service provided. We board a nice boat with some nice employees to shuttle you about 20 mins to the island. It was very well kept island however if you don't book one of the animal adventures there is very little to do except swim. 1/4 of the island was closed for repairs. The food which was included was ok normal lunch of hotdor or hamburg a piece of chicken and rice and veggies. I thought for the price is just was not worth the experience.Written January 2, 2025
- 685pattin0 contributionsWorth itWe swamp with the Dolphins!!! Best excursion ever. Quan ( sorry if this name is wrong) was amazing. Had a elderly man with physical issues and he was treated with dignity and respect by this young man. He also was great with this older couple as well. Spend the money. It was so worth it. As far as the rest of the morning we were the first group on the island and had our choice of lounge chairs. When we returned from dolphin event, the place was packed and choices more limited. The lunch was actually really good!! The bahamian people are so friendly and always smiling! We loved that!!Written December 31, 2024
- GrandTour282476981710 contributionsVery disappointed. Don’t waste your $ or timeVery unorganized. We spent most of the time getting shuffled from line to line. You are only with the dolphin for maybe 10 minutes best. The staff were either really nice or really rude. Terrible directional signs and one lady was extremely rude to my 8 year old daughter who was just trying to figure out how to get a hot dog. The ferry boats were late so it was ANOTHER hour line wait and we had to rush to get back to our boat with only 15 minutes before departure. They really need some serious organizational skills.Written December 30, 2024

The dolphins are amazing in being so smart powerful and agile, especially when you are in the water with them. They are there full time and are captive but appear well-treated and where else can a forty-year old dolphin live in perfect health?
The event is well choreographed, from the boat ride to Blue Lagoon Island to the experience with the dolphins. It has to be since many of the general public cannot be trusted to randomly interact with dolphins. Everyone gets a turn to hug, “dance with”, rub and get a ride from a dolphin. It’s all filmed so you can buy a photo package later, if you want. It’s almost like visiting Santa, but at a smaller scale and more expensive.
If the above is negative, it’s not. I don’t think they could humanely have dolphins experiences any other way. The employees are very friendly and professional and care very much for their animals. The dolphins themselves are amazing and seem to enjoy interacting with visitors, popping up to eye you as you arrive and seem to enjoy belly rubs. It may all be training but it seems real and it is fun. It is a memory I will always enjoy.

Hi Underpaid62. Actually, our oldest dolphin Princess is 52 years old!! :)
You are right that our animal family is so well loved and care for. They are so special to us and the many people that visit them every day. They truly do love interacting with our guests. We are happy that you will always remember your visit with us fondly. Hopefully you can come back and visit!

This was a fun little exscursion. We booked the Segway Tour of Blue Lagoon session that started at 8:45. It was perfect, because it was the first one before the crowd got there. It was just me and my friend along with our 2 guides, Ashwon and Jeffrey. You should ask for them when you check in on the island., because they were super nice, funny and knowledgeable. I would give them a 5 start. But I'm giving a 4 star rating because the food was just ok. Our package came with a lunch with choices of hamburger, hot dog, grilled chicken, or bbq chicken. The food wasn't great, but the package as a whole was worth it.

We booked this tour while in our cruise (Royal Caribbean Anthem if the Seas) we had to take a ferry that took about a half hr from the Nassau port. Ferry guide was informative and showed us some homes of celebrities on the way as well as some of Nassau’s history. The Segway tour was suppose to be upon arrival to the island however without telling us, they changed the time to later in the day.. Despite this, our Segway Tour guides were excellent! They didn’t let us start until we were confident enough to drive them and able to do it appropriately. We rode our Segways to a couple of places on the island and guides gave us some history of the island as well as showed us some sand sharks and stingrays in the water.. Tour was about an hr but for the price we paid for each of us (142.99) I feel this should have included a lunch voucher! We ended up getting a sip of coconut water and a bite of rum cake.. which was really nothing!! We thought lunch was included but apparently not. If you have never driven a Segway, it was fun and easy to do!

I do not recommend we booked this as an excursion through Royal Caribbean with two other couples. The process to line up to board the ferry was very chaotic & extremely unorganized. At the instruction of the Blue Lagoon staff at the pier, we got in one line & waited for 20 minutes to find out from another staff member that we were in the wrong line. When we went to the next line, we were told by a very rude, aggressive, unprofessional, female staff member that our group would have to go at different times because we were late & now at the end of the line because all the slots had been taken. We tried to talk to her to see if maybe she could ask if a couple other people would be willing to go at a different time so that our group could go together, but the only words she knew were, “no” & “like I already said” she did not care that we were on vacation together, that we’d booked this as a group, & the reason we were at the end of the line was due to another staff member incorrectly placing us. She was very insensitive & at a point became nasty. Her name tag was turned over & she would not give us her name ( no surprise there). I’m sure she’s always nasty & rude.
We did not want to go separately so we ended up canceling & getting a refund. It’s unfortunate because we got up very early to do this excursion & waited in several lines in the extreme heat, for nothing. They need signs that indicate what line is for what Blue Lagoon excursion. This small addition could avoid lots of confusion & create happy customers. I do not recommend.

Getting organized on the dock and getting to the transfer boats was handled easily. Upon arrival to Blue Lagoon (about 30 minute boat ride) we were told we could use the water park while the first segway group went on their tour. The water park, with the inflatables, was in disrepair. Nearly every inflatable had the handles ripped off making it nearly impossible to climb on to the floats. Other guests were basically boosting others up by having them stand on shoulders or giving them a hand to stand on. The Segway tour itself was handled well but I'd guess we traveled a total distance of approximately 1 to 1.3 miles. There are a lot of stops in the 1 hour tour such that actual Segway time is maybe 15 to 20 minutes after initial orientation. I've been on good Segway tours and let me tell you, this isn't one of them. Meanwhile, when I was "enjoying" the water park, my wife was trying to get comfortable in the beach chairs. A few minutes later she was told she couldn't sit in that area and had to move. Then about 30 minutes later she was told to move again as another boat was coming in and then an announcement was made for everyone to get up and move to the back of the island to make room. This was maybe 30-45 minutes before we were supposed to leave. Not a real relaxing day.

We are sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy our Segway tour as much as you’d hoped.
While you certainly won’t travel as far as you may on other tours (we are a small, private island, after all), you do get to learn all about our country’s amazing history, visit our nurse shark habitat, explore our native flora and fauna, and visit parts of the island otherwise not accessible to guest – including a climb to the top of our iconic historic tower for some absolutely breathtaking scenery.
We apologize that you had challenges with some of the park equipment. We are constantly repairing and replenishing the park, but as is the case just about everywhere these days, we are constrained by supply chain issues.
Unfortunately, in order to help keep everyone as safe as possible, we are working with our cruise partners to offer a shared island experience that enables us to keep guests from different ships separated from one another. We apologize for the inconvenience this safety measure may have caused and we do hope that if you are in the Bahamas again that you’ll give us another chance. Hopefully by then all of these restrictions will be a thing of the past and you’ll be truly able to enjoy all that we offer at your leisure.

This was truly an over reach, we boarded a vessel that took about 20 mins to reach another island, once there disembarking was a chaotic mess, walked to grab lunch; hot dogs, hamburgers, french fries BB chicken, and some time of rice. Let's just sayI was happy I had kept some M&M's stashed away. The Segway while cute, was a large waste of money. I would not recommend spending your money or the time to do this. I did manage to add an additional activity a dolphin encounter which was a nice 20 min experience for over 100 dollars. Overall the day felt like a waste of both money and time.

If you’re doing this excursion off a cruise ship it is A LOT different than advertised. We still had some fun and I’m not here to bash it, but I think how they market it is FAR off how the day really goes. You get taken to blue lagoon around 10-11am with around 1,000 other people. Then you wait until 1:30 for your Segway tour, no option. Until then, you are on the island which is very limiting - the won’t let you open the umbrellas because of the “wind” but the VIP area (pay more for) had all their umbrellas open 20 feet away. Lunch is expensive and very limited options. Then finally at 1:30 you get to go on the Segway and then right after load back up on their one boat option to get back with the other 1,000 people. Be prepared to do a lot of standing around and waiting. The Segway tour itself was good and the guides were very nice! They just don’t tell you that you have to be at the lagoon for 2-3 hours before and forced to stay there. Not bad, just SO FAR from the advertising.

My tour of the island on my Segway was very enjoyable. Although, I had never ridden a Segway before I was made very comfortable in learning how to ride and keep up with the others in the group. A special shout out to Alrio who took special time to help me feel comfortable in learning to ride.

The tour begins with a lovely boat ride out to the lagoon. Tour guides give interesting information on the way such as which celebrities have houses in Nassau and which houses they are. The lagoon isn’t a huge place but it is filled with interesting things to look at and nice calm waters for beginner snorkelers like me. With the package we choose we had a lovely Segway tour of the island ( even some view points that are restricted to tours only) the tour guide we got, Alrio, was funny, informative and kind. Afterwards we went to our included lunch. The food was fairly simple but nice. If you want time to shop in Nassau it would be best to plan on leaving on the 2pm boat. The 4pm boat(last of the day) doesn’t leave any time for shopping. :( But definitely take advantage of the snorkeling spots and walking around to view the dolphin encounters and seal encounters. In all a wonderful experience and well worth the price.

My kids and I experienced this through a Royal Caribbean excursion. We arrived at the island around 8:20 am and waited around until our excursion started at 9:30 am. After a brief training on how to use the Segway, we rode in a circle around the island to see stingrays, sharks and a tower. The views along the way were nice. The guide Louis was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made an effort to make it a great experience! I was expecting to see more than a stingray and shark “pond” in addition to the tower, but the overall experience was nice. Louis did a great job explaining the history of the island. I think this is a great tour for someone who has never had a chance to drive a Segway and would like an easy course. It’s a short, simple excursion that gives you a mini experience of Nassau. Once the excursion was over, it was up to me to entertain myself until the boat came back to return us to the cruise ship.
