Begin your tour with pickup from your Nassau port or hotel. Then, head for a drive through the historic downtown district en route to the Bahamas Rum Cake Factory. Stop for a sample of this classic Bahamian dessert. Continue to Paradise Island for a 30-minute stop at Atlantis Resort, famous for its luxurious lodging and 8-million gallon (30-million liter) marine habitat. The Queen’s Staircase (or the 66 Steps) is up next. Climb to the top for an unbeatable view of the city and optional souvenir shopping. After a sample at the Graycliff Chocolatier and John Watling’s Distillery, choose to end the tour at Junkanoo Beach or the main shopping district.

My wife and I took this tour in January and we cannot recommend it enough - so much so that we are waiting for January 2024 dates to become available so we can book again, when we intend to bring four family members with us too!

Both Tyrone and his son Kavon are extremely welcoming, clearly very knowledgeable about Nassau and the Bahamas and, importantly, responsive and adaptive to the group. Once we were all set and ready to go Kavon left us in the capable hands of Tyrone, who made a point of scheduling the various stops to give us the maximum amount of quality time at each one whilst largely avoiding the crowds... and the rum that he arranged for us at a number of them was a real highlight!

We are very much looking forward to repeating the experience and sharing it with our wider family.

Don't stay locked-up in your resort!

Fantastic tour with a local guide. Nicky was a blast to be with, was able to hook us up with visits to places which were 'closed' to everyone else, and was a font of local knowledge and history. If you're visiting the island, don't stay locked-up in your resort - get out and see the city and the sites. Recommended 100%.

Incredible tour of Nassau!!!

We were thrilled to be picked up at our Courtyard by Marriott hotel. Tyrone arrived exactly when he said he would. The van was immaculate and very comfortable and well maintained.

Tyrone did an exceptional job showing us the sights and historical places in Nassau and Paradise Island. He explained in great detail all about the founding of the Bahamian Islands and the ties to England.

We toured a rum cake factory, Atlantis Resort, a chocolate factory and a rum distillery. All through the tour Tyrone gave us amazing detail into historical and modern Nassau. You can tell that he is very proud of Nassau and wants only the best for the country.

At the end of the tour Tyrone was gracious enough to drop us off at the Oh Andros Fish Fry where we had a wonderful dinner. The fried shrimp is really good!

We thought the tour was incredible and we recommend this tour to anyone who really wants to see Nassau.

I wanted to love it...
We went on an island tour through this company & to say I was sorely let down is an understatement. We paid $90 for 2 hrs of basically shuttle service for two adults and 1 child. We signed up for the island highlights tour that was supposed to last 2.5 hrs and met at the stated fountain. Our guide (but then not guide) told us were waiting another almost hour to allow for extras to get there... OK, kind of defeats the purpose of telling someone to be at a specific place and time but OK. Then the next hour while we wait the two employees basically ignored us and talked amongst themselves. Once the shuttle van got there, it was an elderly man who was very kind and cordial but for the next two hours just shuttled us to the Atlantis, queens staircase, suggested we skip the chocolate factory but he'd let us go to the beach for a few minutes instead, which was fine with us. He never once got out with us just dropped us off and sat in the van. Then close to the end of the tour he gets a call to basically wrap it up and we never got to go to the "substituted beach" and ended a half an hour early. I was going to book through Big Mommas and after our tour with this company wish I had bc she had pulled up while we were waiting and was so kind and laughing, interacting with her clients who she called her "babies". This is while we were being ignored the whole time.. I guess that's what happens when you try to save a few dollars I guess... I would have gave it 1 star but the elderly guy (Alvin?) was very nice although not involved much at each spot, just doing what his boss told him sounds like, so he bumps it to two. Definitely two thumbs down.

Best Tour In Nassau and an Even Better Guide!
Tyrone was AMAZING! His service was impeccable and his knowledge of the history, culture, and points of interest were very impressive. He made sure everyone was taken care of at each of the stops and that we got back to the port in plenty of time before our ship's departure time.

I have been to Nassau a few times, each time not having very enjoyable experiences so I was hesitant to do another excursion, but I am so glad I did this one! Thank you, Tyrone!!!

Can't Say Enough Positive! Loved it!

Tyrone and his daughter were engaging and thoughtful. My family that included adults and 2 children (10 years & 12 years) loved the tour. I would have liked it to be a longer tour and they show us the whole island; it would have been worth it to pay more because they were fun and informative. Love it!

'Entertainmical' Fun exploring and tasting

There was Ms. Wilson, in an orange shirt, holding the sign "Tyrone Wilsons Nassau Shore Excursion" at 9:15 AM just as stated in the details. But that was just a great start of a wonderful day with Mr. Tyrone Wilson as the driver and tour guide in the wonderfully air conditioned van. Queen's staircase? You can walk up or ride up. A special guide at Fort Nassau gives you an 'entertainmical' history. Then on to wine, chocolate, rum and rum cake tastings. Along the way, learn Nassau history, slave trade history and visit "downhill". The best thing? .... Mr. Wilson is a local... he parks the van in obvious special spots for him, knows all the right people, makes the trip special. The traffic may be heavy because they are getting ready for a visit from King Charles soon. This is a great tour.

Fun & Interesting Nassau Tour

Berdy and Moss were super fun and enagaging travel guides. This tour took me to several unique places I'd never been to as well as the famous Atlantis Hotel. It was a great deal and I would recommend this short excursion if this is your first time to the island or if you have never explored some of the gems located there. The tour guide gave lots of interesting facts and even included a trivia game with prizes at the end.

Tyrone was an excellent tour guide. He provided a 90 minute tour and covered an amazing amount of Nassau including the Atlantis as well as a winery and rum cake factory, complete with tastings. I would highly recommend finding him when visiting the island. The tour time then gave us plenty of time to browse on our own as well as visit areas we chose (like the beach) when we were finished. I also appreciate supporting individual business owners like Tyrone when traveling.

Perfect shirt tour of Nassau

Birdy and our driver were awesome. As a family of 3 + grandma and grandpa, we all agree this was the best tour for all ages. Our 7yo loved the rum cake, the chocolate place, and the stairs. The Rum distillery was fun to walk through with inexpensive flights to try out. We ended in Atlantis, where we wandered around for about 20 mins, taking picture of art and viewing the grounds. Dont expect long stops. Just a great short trip.
